Came here on a Friday around 4pm. Not many people. Got my favorite deluxe chocolate mousse sliced cake- as good as I remember , the strawberry cream salted bread- too much cream, bottled milk tea- very sweet but quite good. Also got a few mooncakes for BOGO 50% off. The chocolate mooncake was quite good.

June promo: Free pen with any matcha purchase

Whenever I visit early morning before 10 am, they don't have all breads available on display. I ended encountering this one girl who always looks like she hates her job with Squidward attitude when I ask one question about their promotion. I was able to get what I wanted like the matcha pen from buying matcha items and redeeming rewards app deals. All the pastries and buns remain the same decent quality. Their cafe drinks are a tad bit too sweet for me. Prefer to ask them to lower the sweetness next time. It's a smaller and clean location with a few seats and restroom available. You can even do remote work or study here with low music in the background. I prefer to go to the Newark location for more available options.

Tried egg tarts for the first time because my brother wanted them -- and wow, I get the hype now I honestly thought they'd taste like scrambled eggs or something, but nope... super sweet, creamy, and flaky. Ended up having two without even thinking about it. Definitely a new favorite! Drinks - jasmine green tea and the passion fruit green tea are literally soo refreshing!! I can drink it all in one sitting Workers always happy and smiling here!

When you walk into 85°C, everything looks absolutely delicious! We were on a mission to find a birthday cake but weren't sure which flavor to choose. The cakes are beautiful and it was hard to pick just one--we couldn't resist taking pictures; they're almost too pretty to eat! We tried the Mango Cream Brulee and the Black Forest Cherry--both were wonderfully tasty and sweet without being overly rich. The cake itself was light and fluffy; if you've had Asian-style cakes, these are just like that. Christian, who helped us with our order for next week, told us the cakes are baked fresh right there, which makes them even better. We ultimately decided on two 8" round cakes: Mango Cream Brulee and Deluxe Strawberry Cream. The cream on top is so fluffy it almost looks like marshmallows. My husband also had an Iced Macchiato, which was smooth and flavorful. I would highly recommend stopping by 85°C for coffee and a dessert--you won't be disappointed!

Since their Milpitas branch closed I've been coming here. Fast service and good selection of bread and drinks at a reasonable price. Download their app for monthly deals/ accumulate points. Store has clean bathroom and some seating available.

My mom and I decided to go to 85C Bakery for us to spend our time there. They have all sorts of bakery items that you can choose from. You can basically grab a tray and select any food you like. Honestly, it's fairly cheap going here compared to most cafe places. They have pastries, cakes, and drinks. The inside is also nice too, but many people don't seem to work here. Probably because they don't offer WiFi here but you can ask. I say this because it looks like a place for you to work or study, but at the same time, they probably don't provide that atmosphere for that. You wanna ask to make sure. I still say that it's still a good place to hangout though. I didn't really eat anything here besides the boba I got because I ate breakfast this morning. I'm just full at the moment but I'll try one of the foods we got.

I love 85 degrees for their pasties and drinks! Everything was pretty much stocked on a weekday morning, which was so convenient. I had my go-to sea salt matcha latte and the sea salt coffee. The matcha was a bit too sweet and tasted more artificial? But the coffee was the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. I also recommend the ham and cheese croissant! So yummy.

Nice 85 with the usual selection and a nice indoor seating area. Drinks can be ordered via kiosk. They have pumpkin spice for Fall. Casual. Shopping center parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

I came in over the weekend just to try the sea salt caramel coffee. I've always liked pre-blended coffees so this one was on my list of to tries here. I ordered the cold version. The sea salt caramel coffee provides an interesting and distinctive taste. In addition to the cream in which popularized in Asian drink spots that are often used seen here, the coffee is mixed in with caramelized sugar and creamer. The caramelized sugar provides a distinctive taste versus regular sugar. The drink is a 4 out of 5 for me. In the age where cold brews are seen everywhere, it is nice to have something different every now and then. Most of the pastries inside are self served so don't be expecting people to be greeting you, but if you don't mind it like myself, it's a pretty cool spot to just get what you need and go! :)

Haven't been to 85C since they closed the Milpitas location. Enjoyed being able to get some favorites again. This place is nicer than the Milpitas branch and the lady mgr was nice enough to quickly brew our coffee. They were closing so didn't get to hang around but they had a nice set up.

Another update! Unfortunately the 85 degrees app rewards isn't as good as it used to be. The monthly deal has gotten worse over the years. This is why we've gone less often. But when we do go, we often go to this 85 degrees and it's ok. Parking is still as bad as it was before as it shares the parking lot of other popular lunch spots. Service has been okay. Some good, some mediocre. Drinks have been hit or miss. They do have seating inside so you could hang out if you'd like. Sadly the Milpitas 85 degrees has closed so we'll have to rely on this spot now for 85 degree pastries.

This 85°C Bakery Cafe is a nice place. Actually, one of the nicest looking ones around the Bay Area. I ended up here on accident because the one in Milpitas closed down. Very spacious and modern decor. A larger seating area for customers. Two restrooms only. The service was nice and friendly. I picked up a couple of marble taro Buns, a brioche pan, and a crunchy croissant.

fair prices in this economy! pastries range $1.50 to $4.50 on average. tea was $4.50 + $0.50 per topping (i got mini agar pearls)!! HIGHLY REC and i mean PLEASE TOAST these up to unlock their highest potential. FOOD: the tea was okay, the peach wasn't too strong and had a slight strange grass undertone? the walnut crumbl had some candied walnuts but otherwise was what you'd expect: cream between walnut candied toast. the croquette is my go to: $1.40 each, potato inside fried dough! first time trying the pineapple cake and it's my new fav!! not overly sweet and kinda reminds me of a moon cake. the filling is coated with a butter shortbread crumbly dough! OTHER PASTRIES: i've tried the cookies, all contain oats and spice which is what keeps me coming back. it's their signature taste and I LOVE THAT. spinach kale danish, garlic cheese, mushroom bread, hawaiian chicken are all delicious! 85 masters their savoury treats well!! all under $4 WOW SERVICE: fair, checks me out fast and efficiently. bags are $0.10. sometimes not the most knowledgeable on items when i ask for descriptions or recommendations. OVERALL: best asian bakery in the bay. affordable and better quality/portion compared to others i've visited. they also make some mad delicious mooncakes!

There's no seating area inside the bakery, but there are some tables outside next to a water fountain. Of the times that I've been there, it's mostly empty and clean, and the trash bins are not overflowing. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The brioche donut is soft but holds the fillings in well. There's also a bit of crunch from the sugar on the outside of the donut. There's an ample amount of filling, so you get to taste the flavors. So far, my favorites are Irish cream, lemon blueberry, and banana cream. It is a bit messy to eat, so have napkins and a small plate to catch any sugar or filling that may fall out when you bite into it. We had their chocolate chip cookie. It looked like a big mound of baked dough. Overall, it was okay. I would easily skip this for the donuts instead. I haven't tried their coffees, but my daughter loves the hot chocolate, and I have been enjoying their calamansi juice. It's nice and tart, not too sweet. I have seen some savory options but have not tried them. I will be back to explore the menu.

Found Izumi…read moreCakes on Yelp and was bummed at first because the soonest online reservation for a cake would be two days later. Husband called them around 11am and they said they were in the middle of making their strawberry cakes so they could add our order in for a same day pickup at 4pm. Pickup went well and the cake was so cute and it tasted great! Like the Chinese bakery strawberry cream cake with a moist sponge cake; not too sweet, just right. Might sound basic but it was done very well. Would 100% recommend. I don't know prices for cakes nowadays but I didn't feel bad paying about $60 for a cute and tasty cake (6", strawberry cream cake). I wouldn't bank on same day pickups, I might've just been very lucky they were in the middle of making their cakes but it wouldn't hurt to try calling early in the day if you're in a pinch for a solid cake. I'm very thankful for their service!

Finding parking isn't difficult…read morebut might take a minute on busy days, as it shares a parking lot with the rest of a popular plaza. The store itself is easy to find as well, with a clear label outside. Walking in, it looks half-closed--their cakes are all stored in a large refrigerator, with nothing in the case on the counter. There is a sign proclaiming "takeout only" in slight disarray, and the seating is pushed to the side. That said, the service is friendly and the employees are quick to help you and show you what they have in stock for takeout. I ordered the 4" Berry Berry Light Cake for a birthday, and they were able to write a birthday message on the cake board, which I really appreciated. The cake also tasted very light and the sweetness was subtle, which I really enjoyed. The berry flavor in the sponge was a little too subtle, though. My main concern is that the cake does not fully resemble the picture they advertised online. It is missing the freeze-dried berries on top, and the berry glaze did not reach as far down the cake as was shown in the photo. Because the berry glaze is the main source of the berry flavor, this was a little disappointing. Also, the cake was not finished when I came to pick up the cake (and I was ~5 minutes late). I'm uncertain if this is for freshness or if there is another reason. Overall, I like the spot for the fresh and light cake. It's pleasantly unique compared to your standard sheet cake, and everything is rather cute. However, it may be a better idea to buy the cakes in-person to be 100% sure of what it will look like, though daily stock is definitely more limited than if you place an order online. I hope they reopen their indoor seating soon.

At $6.50, it's not a cheap treat, but it was super delicious and I'm glad we tried it. The drinks were also great. The espresso shot they pulled perfectly complemented the oat milk -- this is one of the better iced oat lattes I've had. For starters this location is definitely a more pickup and go location. There is very limited seating and the space is also a lot smaller. But what they lack in space they make up in efficiency. I've never had an issue picking up anything here either through online orders or simply walking in to grab a cake. The staff are always on top of things. Now let's talk about the cakes. If you don't order ahead of time or reserve a cake in advance, then expect the consequences of not planning ahead. The cakes they have on display or the back may not taste the freshest. But in my particular case, I've been fortunate enough that every cake I bought from here was fresh and moist. The staff would even be kind enough to grab one from the back for me without even asking. I bring this up because for bakeries through put is very important on how fresh their products are and this location definitely goes through their inventory constantly. For mother's day they basically ran out of all their cakes so plan ahead for those big occasions. What I also appreciate is they are always able to do a special message for you free of cost, and I always end up tipping extra because you can rarely find this type of service at other cake shops. Because of their flexibility and availability, I will always recommend this location to family, friends and to you as well. Plan ahead and this place won't disappoint. Looking forward to continue coming back here.

I really despise paying $8 for a slice the size of a cupcake but my kid loves this damn rainbow cake. Next time I'll just a whole cake
