The fruit weren't mushy, as some display cakes can have mushy fruit, and they were a bit tart so it really gave the cake a nice refreshing bite. But today I was quite upset because of the service of the clerk (Selina S), when I brought my daughter to buy her birthday cake. There were some cakes and only one blueberry (chiffon) cake at the moment. After confirming that's all they had, I said, "can I have the blueberry one?" The clerk said: "The yogurt or chiffon?" This is a Korean bakery with nice fresh cream cake and bread . It is modern and food are delicious and nice presented . Coffee is just ok . The other juice or fruit tea are average . Their fresh cream cakes are pricey but vert tasty . Blueberry saffron cake and Strawberry chocolate cake are my favorite. Today we got the Tiramisu cake for a birthday. It has a great flavor and nice presentation but it tasted more like a fresh cream cake and not much tiramisu in it . The pasty and sandwiches have many choice and most taste great! This locations is mich smaller than others, however the staff have always been extremely nice and efficient. You take a tray and a pair of tongs, and help yourself to the self-serve items on display. There are tarts, mochi donuts, tons of different buns, fruit pastries, etc. There's also a section for savory lunch items, like premade sandwiches. Finally, there's a large section for their specialty cakes, whole or by the slice. Everything looked so tempting it was hard to pick just a few items. I end up picking a few items, including some mochi donuts, fruit pastries, and a few cake slices for a dinner I was attending. I didn't get to try all the items, but everyone enjoyed what they had. I tried the coconut mango cake tart, and it's just ok. The mango didn't have much flavor, but I enjoyed the coconut cream. This Paris Baguette just doesn't compare to the Milpitas location, despite it being located in a pretty busy shopping center with 99 Ranch Market. Went earlier today, and the shelves were pretty bare with hardly any pastries avail. Keep in mind this was a Sunday afternoon at around 2:30ish, so you would expect them to have a decent amount. But nope, most of the pastries were all gone, and the selection of items were to the bare minimal. They need to do a better job of baking enough goods to have a variety available throughout the day. While the service here is good, they just don't seem to be keeping up with the demand here and aren't baking enough pastries. Paris baguette has a good selection of cakes and pastries, and I find myself coming back often to pick up cakes for birthdays. It's nice to be able to order for pickup online and then go and get the cake fresh on the day I need it. The selection of cakes is good too, there's a variety of fruit and other flavors (tea, coffee, red velvet, chocolate) to choose from. Something I really enjoy about the cakes here are the light sponge of the actual cake, the fruit in the cream between the layers, and the light cream used instead of heavy, overly sweet frosting. A lot of typical American cakes can be too dense and sweet, but the cakes here are more light and balanced, making for a soft (and easily gone in a few minutes) dessert. The cakes are decorated elegantly on top as well, they look beautiful and pristine. I have also gotten to try some individual slices of cake here, which I'd also say is fun and delicious. If you're wanting just a bit of cake for a small group, you could a get a variety of slices to try.
