I frequent this Starbucks often with my wife, and while the service, coffee, and service always great, today's experience really stood out. I stopped in twice today and was shocked when Noah remembered my name on the second visit. Although I shouldn't have been, because I've seen him and the other baristas there call several of their regulars by name. That type of interaction is rare! Tonight while I was drinking my coffee alone, I got to enjoy watching Noah, Dani, and Liz during my visit, and the kindness and genuine interest they showed to every customer was incredibly heartwarming. They clearly enjoy their jobs, and each other, and go out of their way to make customers feel special. I just wanted to make sure to take a moment to give them some well-deserved praise. This is off the Pacific offramp from the 134 Freeway. Parking was completely unavailable for this smallish Starbucks. The staff were unaware of the free add-on promotion today and I really needed to explain that the add-on was free. I used my Reserve card, so I thought it would show after using it to pay for my Caramel Machiato, so fortunately they realized the promotion did exist for today and once every month. It was first time going to this Starbucks location. I was the only customer there which is surprising for Starbucks. I was greeted by two employee when I walked in. My drink was ready within minutes. I didn't have to wait for a long time. My latte tasted really good, perfect flavor and not too sweet like some other places make. Lattes too sweet. There is plenty of seating area inside and there are couple of tables outside which makes it very convenient. Parking can be tricky. One of my favorite cycling rest stops. Very friendly staff. The big downside is that the outside is like one big smoker's lounge.

Neighborhood parking here is a little tricky because of the nearby traffic light and one-way street on Hahn Ave. However, there is usually available street parking within a block. Good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, including outdoor seating under nearby shade trees. Makes for a nice work or study atmosphere. The staff are lovely here, good at recommending food and drink pairings, and specialty ways to order your meal. make sure to check expiry date when you buy food here. Bought a banana loaf and on the plastic it says it should discarded the day I bought it. I returned to the store and brought the receipt as well and the barrista lady was irritated that I asked for an exchange, i told her that it was expired. She exchanged it but the prod date was Sept 9 and it is already Oct 16. , there was no expiry date on the plastic. I have to return it and got my refund. There's small parking available but plenty of street parking. That's the only bad thing about this location. However, their service is extremely fast. You get your drink in less than 5 minutes. The staff is super friendly and make sure your drink is to your liking. I usually do mobile order 3 minutes before arriving at the location and when I get there to my surprise my drink is already done. I love it because I'm always in a hurry and they save me a lot of time. There's plenty of seating available if you want to stop by and do some work. I'm not real fond of the staff that I had dealings with on my last visit. The person who was supposed to be regulating the number of people in the store was not doing their job. They'd allow a certain number of people in to order and wait for their items. Then, they'd not allow anyone else in until the entire store had been emptied. Hmm, that was not convenient. Then, they didn't sanitize in between customers, even when the customers had been laying across the counter, touching a number of things in a cold case, etc. I waited for quite some time for my order. I received it and when I tasted my drink, I felt it was made incorrectly. I asked for the barista to re-make it for me but they didn't want to do that. I tried to give the drink back to them and ask for them to make my drink over again. They simply told me that I couldn't return it and that I couldn't have it remade. I hadn't heard that before. I had heard and knew from previous experiences that if my drink was given to me and seemed to be missing something that the barista would be happy to re-make it for me without question. Hmm, that's not what happened. There were also a few customers in the store who were engaging in horseplay. That didn't make me feel comfortable either and yet the employees did nothing to prevent them from rough housing, knocking themselves into furniture and the acrylic barriers, etc. Parking is very limited just in front of the store. That was another problem, but not directly anything having to do with the store. I'd still like to mention . . . I parked in one of the spots just outside the store. As I was taking my kiddo out of their car seat, I had the passenger rear door open and another car decided to come and try to park next to me, getting very close to me, my open door and my car. They were apparently picking up a mobile order but it was still very dangerous and worrisome. They noticed I was standing there but didn't care to wait til I had safely remove my kiddo. I just wanted to give a shout out to this store because of the great service I received today! I came in and Malcolm helped me with my drink order. When I got home I wound up spilling my entire matcha latte - and it was so good too! I called and he said "no worries, I got you" and said I could come back to pick up a new one and that he'd have it ready when I got there. That really made my day! The good news is when I came back I remembered I needed 3 gift cards, so I also purchased $450 in Starbucks gift cards, so my spill and Malcolm's kindness in the end wound up being great in the end for this location - well at least I'm hope the store gets some credit for GC purchases! :) read more

Horrible customer service Came in to order a vanilla bean double blended with extra caramel unfortunately there is an area with communication because a completely different drink was made no problem . Informed him this was incorrect and he got upset and literally threw the drink in the trash and sighed Heavily. I repeated my order back to him so the correct drink would get me unfortunately he has me the incorrect and again I am formed him and he got an attitude !! So accordingly he got one back. He remade the drink dumping the contents into a new cup and threw the old cup in the trash aggressively. Handed my daughter her drink and I kindly thanked him for finally getting the order correct ... next time he could hold off and the stank attitude .... This is the worst Starbucks I have come to and I will never come back again. I came and I ordered an iced cappuccino without foam and was made fun of straight to my face. I guess an iced cappuccinos without foam is actually called a latte, but hey, sue me for not knowing coffee like that. So I guess that wasn't enough talk for them. Whenever I picked up my drink the barista even questioned me and asked me three times what I meant to order. I told her that this was my drink and it was an iced cappuccino without foam, and in front of other customers she told me to not order that next time because it may be too confusing for them. I responded by telling her that I have ordered this same drink at many other locations before and I never came across this issue. I don't understand how you can make fun of someone for ordering a damn drink. The workers are rude, immature, and not well trained in customer service. Awesome location! Parking is the worst. Half the time we have to park at the Rite Aid across the street but there's rarely traffic that will delay your arrival to the Starbucks. Always clean, staff is always patient and kind to their guest. Very fast in order preparation as well. This Starbucks is absolutely ridiculous. They have a total of 4 parking spots shared with other businesses, FOUR!!! Everyone going there, parked across the street at an abandoned Rite Aid to get their coffee and literally everyone coming to this Starbucks got a ticket with their coffee. This is an absolute JOKE, either have more parking or don't open a business here. Also the barista is behind the counter with a mask mumbling names, I asked if my drink was ready when my sandwich came out and she said no. I waited 15 minutes for my drink to be ready, (standing 5 feet away from the counter) and they said oh ya it's been ready. Can they call out names Louder!! read more

You have a buyer who's sole job it is to figure this ish out. Today I ordered postmates while on a job so the crew and I could get some coffee while we continued to work. It wasn't a full-day job so we all wanted a snack. Myself and one other person ordered bagels. The postmates driver called me while in line to let me know this location doesn't carry bagels. What? Why not? Wtf do you mean you don't carry bagels? What is it about this location that's so different than every other GD Starbucks I've been to? It's like when you find out a local store that's corporate is actually somehow franchise and it's run by this a-hole that has no idea what he's doing.
