This is my go to Starbucks since they opened and they always make my drinks as ordered. Just wanted to update my review and give a special shout out to Frank who has rang me the last couple of visits. He's so welcoming, friendly and I really appreciate that. Customer service goes a long way in my book.

Never had I ever been denied a cup of water, until today, and it all happened at the place I once considered my go-to Starbucks location, and on Mother's Day out of all days. I am a mom of five, and as much as I would have loved to stay indoors with all five of my babies, and just be pampered by them, I went out to work to put food on our table, it's tough for us, specially right now, bc every dollar counts. It was a scorching hot day, but Uber requests kept coming and so I rushed out of my home and forgot both of my water bottles. I thought to myself, not to worry the Starbucks I love to go to, is just right there and I'll get a cup of water there. I won't deviate from my delivery route at all. Problem solved. Oh man, was I wrong! Daniel, the name of the man behind the speaker denied me the water, which according to him was contingent on me making a purchase, so he shared, if I wasn't going to be doing any other purchase, I couldn't get water. What!!?? I immediately thought I heard him wrong. Nope! At this point, I was at a loss for words. It didn't matter what I said, or the fact that my husband had just been there an hour ago buying me a coffee or even that I was a regular. I was just so thirsty! I thanked him (never did I yell, insult him or cause a scene) I just started reversing out of the drive thru until I couldn't anymore because another car started approaching. And so then I thought, the manager could make things right, and asked to speak to her. She came to the drive thru window and I then found out her name is Mariana. But instead of helping me and making things right, as I was so certain she would, she and Daniel only reminded me of how cruel this world can be. It doesn't cost anything to be kind to others. Yet, I guess there are some who just simply cannot afford it. I could never, ever deny a person water. No matter the circumstances. Specially not in this weather. My jaw dropped, when to my surprise instead of de-escalating this awful situation and just doing the right thing, and really just being a kind human being, she also denied me a cup of water. Mariana and David, I truly hope that neither one of you ever gets to experience what you put me through today. You could've both done the right thing, but instead you chose to make me go thirsty. Please know that you made me cry. The main reason being I couldn't believe people like you are really out there. It's all okay, because I'm still teaching my children to be kind to others above all else, so thank you for reminding me I'm doing the right thing. I'm attaching a photo of the coffee my husband had just purchased for me, about an hour before I asked you for some water. Stay blessed

Super friendly staff, got my drink out fairly quickly. Let me use my own to go cup and gave me a discount for that, which is so nice! A fair amount of outdoor seating but it is on a sort of busy street so not super quiet if you're needing zen. Clean inside. No complaints!

I ordered 1x mango dragonfruit. They handed me this. I asked where is dragonfruit. Worker said we don't have it but it tastes the same. I had to negotiate with the worker to get pineapple pieces added. What a joke.

This is the worse Starbucks ever! I have been 3 times in the last 2 weeks and all 3 orders have been awful!!! They need to hire people that know how to read and know what they are doing!!! There are lines on the cups for a reason so you know how much is supposed to be in there with out the ice!!!! When a large is ordered the liquid should be to the top line not the bottom!!! $6 for a large drink amd I received a small! Not to mention all 3 times I had the same girl in the drive thru and she's soo rude!!!

Pumpkin cream cold brew with extra foam... Yes please!

Love this Starbucks! The staff if always quick and always gets my order right. It has a great parking lot and lots of room for cars to line up in the drive thru. You know it's fall when Starbucks brings back everything pumpkin! Yaaaaysss honey!!!!

You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food and drinks. As for the ambiance, it's perfect for those who want to hang out and catch up with friends/family or to study. When I visited, there were easily 5 other groups and individuals studying here. I have a big soft spot for banana flavored items. A BIG SOFT SPOT. Banana Cream Pie Latte - this one carries the biggest punch for banana lovers. Banana cream the entire way from start to finish. Not too sweet. Awesome foam top too. I highly recommend drinking these without the straw. Foam top drinks are best appreciated when you get a nice 50:50 ratio of the foam and drink. Banana Matcha Latte - the name speaks for itself. It's a nice mixture of both. So if you're looking to feel a little healthier with the matcha element, then go for it. This was probably the prettiest drink of the 3 that we had. Americano - delicious and got the job done here. I naturally enjoy Ethiopian and Colombian beans. I brew them often at home. I was definitely wide awake after these drinks lol Strawberrynana Waffle - If you LOVE belgian-style waffles like me, then you'll find yourself ordering this again and again. It wasn't too sweet but sweet enough to easily go through 2 or 3 of these plates if you're crazy enough. Banana Walnut Honey Bread - the best for last! I really loved eating brick toast growing up. There were so many stores back in the day that sold them, and now I can't find them as easily. In fact, Caffe Bene is the only place in the South Bay that I know that sells them. This one brought me back to the past and put a gigantic smile on my face. Delicious, perfectly sweet, balanced, and finished wanting more. Highly recommend!

One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. It's a quirky specialty shop, but a fun one to browse. And judging by the number of snowstorms coming out of the kitchen, that's clearly the move here.

Hisaya Kyoto specializes in all things chestnuts, including soft serve chestnuts, and chestnut baked goodies. I came on a hot day and got their vanilla and chestnut soft serve on a cone. I also got one of their chestnut cakes. The ice cream was very creamy and definitely a good treat after my lunch. The small cake was not too sweet and light. It had some sweetened chestnuts inside which was really nice. It came out hot and went well with the ice cream. They also have cookies, donuts, and a variety of ice creams as well. They also have drinks like their chestnut milk too. For soft serve they have their fuji soft serves which comes with toppings. I want to come back to try their other items. The people behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and out items took awhile. The inside is small and casual and not really anywhere to sit. But they do have seating outside. There is plenty of parking since it is on a strip mall.

All I can say is wow. Genuinely the most beautiful latte art I've seen in my life!!! You can tell how well they steam their milk because the consistency was perfect. The barista's level of precision and control was seriously impressive , my goodnesssss The hot espresso by itself was yum too. The espresso had floral notes with hints of citrus and fruit coming through, and it's a really enjoyable cup even by itself. I also ordered the chaggachino. It was on the sweeter side for me (I don't like my drinks too sweet), but still very delicious. Creamy, rich, and comforting without completely overpowering the coffee flavors underneath. We also got the ham and cheese croissant, which was nicely warm, buttery and crisp on the outside and good proportion of cheese and ham. I visit a lot of coffee shops, so it does take quite a bit to impress me, but this place absolutely wowed me.... Between the coffee quality and the latte art, I really loved it here!! That said, it's good enough for a place to go when you're on somewhat of a budget. The Dubai Chocolate Frappe was a semi-let down because the advertisement photo looked like it had a lot of chocolate. When I got my order, my first reaction was..."is that it?" The first several sips lacked the chocolate flavor I was anticipating but it was a fairly decent drink. It definitely would have been better with more chocolate as advertised. The Beef Teriyaki Bowl was a generous size; again, it was good enough. The TTEK-BOKKI (Korean Spicy Rice Cake) was extremely filling especially with cheese (which was a $3 up charge). Not sure I'd get this one again if I came back because the price point and the quality just didn't match. Parking is easy and free since it's in a complex with a now abandoned Rite-Aid. Even so, I'm not completely sure I'd come back since this place is small and the setup seems so cramped. It lacked the vibe I thought it would have based on social media posts.
