I have never written a review before and have been in Starbucks locations throughout the country. So why would i spend the time writting a review for the Starbucks that is just on my way to work everyday. Because it is the best I have experienced. There is nothing special about the buiding or the fixtures they are the same as all other starbucks. IT IS THE PEOPLE! The operator/Franchise owner, whatever, has a team of people at this spot that is magic, give them all raises. It makes my day to walk into the store. This Starbucks is right off the freeway, clean, and service is pretty good. The downside is the parking and in and out. It is very busy and parking is scarce. The in and out from this location is difficult to maneuver. The entrance/ exit is too small and oddly constructed. Otherwise it is a good location. Lots of tables and places to charge devices. The other negative is they use soy dedicated blender containers/pitchers for regular dairy and vice versa. Not good for those with allergies. This place lives up to its 4 star rating. read more

This Starbucks is very convenient since its on the way to my school and the freeway....fast and friendly people...they have never messed up on my orders.....very clean store....my only complaint is the parking lot...when there is a "rush" parking is a pain....morning or afternoon its a bit crowded...but then again there are some good days. read more

Just had a pretty shitty experience here about 5 minutes ago.. I didn't quite get the woman's name but she was blonde, fair skin & heavier set; I live right behind this Starbucks so I go there often, never have I felt so uncomfortable and upset. She was very rude, sighing, saying Omg because we took maybe 3 mins trying to figure out what drinks we wanted. I would understand if it was busy at the time and was holding up a line but that was not the case I ordered my last drink and because she was in an irritated mood she took down the wrong drink. So I've come here a couple times and it's always been good but today definitely stood out!! I don't think people realize how much small gestures can affect someone's day! And I've also had some bad experiences at Starbucks. Today, i came in after being up since 4 AM and right before my 7 AM shift at the hospital and Leo was FRIENDLY AND SMILING. I was there Sunday morning.. now there was nobody there as customers... I decided to go there for convenience of the Drive thru... but when i got there waited and nobody greeted me so I went around and parked and got out. When I came in there were 3 ppl sitting around doing nothing just talking they even said "we are having a party" I went to the counter order 2 drinks and 2 pieces of bread / the person at the reg doing the reg and the drinks was new did not know what or how to do the drinks.. it took me about 20-25 mins for my drinks.. I think he was afraid to ask for help... not until later that one of the girls came and told him something but still did not help.. I am sorry but when you have no costumers it should not take you 2-25 mins for your drinks.. never again absolutely horrible costumer service read more

I love this Starbucks, it's close to my house tucked way in the corner of SW Hayward right off 880, on the outskirts of a nice neighborhood, at times CHP stops here for coffee so it's pretty cool. It's small though so timing is the key here. When the weather is nice the Wifi is great. I live getting coffee and kicking back here. read more

I'm not a coffee addict nor am I a Starbucks feind but I do enjoy coming here and getting my Carmel frap or a new mango black tea lemonade. They're both delicious. I think I like this spot specifically because customer service is pretty good. My name isn't hard (IMO lol) but often, at first glance, people generally have a hard time pronouncing. With that being said, every time i come to Starbucks I give my name as "N" just to save the baristas some time. Lol. But the baristas really do try and pronounce, albeit wrong. Lol. I'll admit I'm a Starbucks addict and probably spend well over $1000-2000 each year. Grande Soy Lattes and Pumpkin bread is my thing. Rarely will any store mess that up, however now that I moved and regularly visit this Hayward store, I am plagued by messed up orders! I complained twice but nothing changed. I switched to the mobile app and all was good for a while until they started ignoring the mobile order printer. On one visit I walked up to the counter and watched the employee snatch my mobile order off the printer and throw it away!! I told her that was the order I was waiting on! Didn't even get an apology. This store had some significant problems. I think they are so concentrated on the drive through, they neglect the few people who wander inside. I say "few" because the place is usually pretty empty when I go in. I complained to corporate again, but this time I took pictures of the receipt to prove the service here sucks and I'm not making it up. I don't want another credit to my Starbucks card... just Fix The Damn Place! Train your employees better or replace them. So much for being a "friendly neighborhood" hangout... it makes me want to avoid Starbucks altogether! read more

This location is always short staffed and could take up to 30 mins for 4 people. Morning rush I normally see 2-3 staff when this is a pretty busy location. Some staff members are not the friendliest. Mobile order are wrong sometimes or missing spoons for oatmeal. Not the biggest of deals but it's wasting customers time. Wish this wasn't the closest starbucks to me because I am sick of this location. Guess I need to start going out of my way to a different one. read more

This place is the worst starbu cks ever!. I used to go through the drive thru and ask for a tall pike. 90% of the time it's something else like gold coast or the horrible Americana. So I started walking in so that I can see exactly what I was getting. They were either out of sugar or half-and-half each time, that place is always dirty, and the service is slow I will never go to this Industrial Road Starbucks again. I went at 5:30am, and didn't leave until 5:50am. There was maybe 3 people ahead of me waiting for drinks and the barista had to sense of urgency in making drinks. Poor service....ordered a chocolate croissant (not warmed). Asked one of the associates about the croissant, she said someone was working on it after already receiving my hot drink. The person warming up everyone else's pastry items dropped off the already warmed items at the area where items are picked up. "Excuse me.....excuse me.....excuse me.....EXCUSE ME." No response from her at all as if she heard nothing. Had to ask a third person for my UN-warmed crossiant. FINALLY......someone with a sense of customer service. Management, please train some of your employees to at least acknowledge that they heard the customer. My favorite Starbucks, especially on a Saturday morning. However, my addiction to the double chocolate brownies is over - the one I got this morning was stale. So stale it cut the roof of my mouth.
