The staffs were so friendly and sweet. Wonderful service and these days it's far between. I've had their crab croquette - 2.5/5 - it's ok, but not my style. Croquette hot dog 4/5. I'm a sucker for hot dog buns. Garlic baguette 4/5. Surprisingly it's sweet, so that threw me off. Can get hard after a day or so. Would come back to try more things and just chill there. read more

I had stopped going to Paris Baguette for the cakes because prices had gotten expensive for me, but I needed a last-minute graduation cake for the next morning and only had about 30 minutes before closing. When I went in, there was a graduation cake I wanted, but I was told they couldn't sell it because they were out of cake boxes. A huge shoutout to Erin, Ankit, and the rest of the team for going above and beyond to make it happen. The cake was still $79.99, but when you have no other options and people genuinely care to help, it is completely worth it. They wrote a graduation congratulatory message on the cake, secured it carefully with tape, found a large box to safely transport it, and even helped carry it out to my car. In short, disorganized, bad parking situation, mediocre service. I am not usually one to get so harsh on a place but my experience today at this Paris Baguette has put me off this location long term. I usually go to the Pleasanton spot but happened to be nearby and wanted to get a cake for Mother's day. I understand that because it is a holiday that they were going to be busy, but it was incredibly disorganized inside with people cutting in and out of line at the counter and the staff were too busy to redirect customers or take orders. Incredibly frustrating as there were several instances of people just cutting their way in line and just placing their orders/getting served ahead of everyone else by just walking straight up to the register. When it came to my turn the staff asked for my order then turned around and instead went and took care of someone who had cut in front straight to the register to buy bread when I had already been waiting in line for awhile. They did not even bother asking if they had been waiting there before or had cut the line, the staff just skipped me just because that person had gone straight up to the register. Incredibly frustrating situation and I just did not want to get into it with the line cutter or the staff. Was still able to pick up the cake but I would skip this place since they can't even set up a system for a line/queue. Go to the Pleasanton spot instead and skip this spot. read more

I have been to many locations, the Berkeley one when my kids were in college, the Century Mall location when I go San José, the Dublin one..... but this Hayward one tops them all! This Hayward one is fairly recent, 6 months old. There are new buildings and offices around. This store is HUGE compared to all the other ones!! And since they have space, there are more choices of viennoiseries and pastries. I found many items that the other stores did not have. The Halloween spider donuts, the pumpkin collection, the pizza type pastries...the chicken pesto sandwich is my favorite now. You can see the bakers in action in the back too. Staff is very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Lots of tables and chairs if you decide to eat there. Store is extremely clean, I see staff restocking and checking everything. Of course this is my favorite location to go to now. Parking might be hard but I always luck out ( knock on wood ) and find a spot right in front. read more

I was so excited to see Paris Baguette open in Hayward! The shop is super clean and much bigger than I expected. It looks like a great place to work/study too. They've got all the delicious classics - hot dog buns, cronuts, fruit pastries, mochi donuts, and regular donuts - plus their signature gorgeous cakes on display. We came to pick up a cake for my mom's birthday and decided on the mango coconut cake. So glad they still had some in stock - it was light, creamy, and really tasty! Hands down one of my favorite bakeries, especially when wanting to impress house guests with a morning treat! I like that it's self serve, and their item options change often enough. They have sweet and savory pastries, French baguette sandwiches and very light cakes (sold by the slice too). Most things I got here were delicious. I've been to several Paris Baguettes in the Bay Area, I wanted to take advantage of the National Cake Day reward that was offered on the app. That's when I realized that there was a store in Hayward, which was closer to me than my usual location in Dublin. The evening before, I placed an order for late morning pickup on Cake Day. The store is located in the first floor of an apartment complex. Stepping in, I was surprised how large this store was and it a large of display cases of their baked goods and other offerings. You can see the bakers working through a glass window. There's a large and spacious seating area with a lot of tables. I walked up to the counter to pick up my order and the clerk went to retrieve my order and I was on my way. My two slices of cake were nicely packed in a handle box. The Blueberry Chiffon cake and Fig Jam & Cream Layer cake were both light and not sweet, which I prefer. Of the two, I enjoyed the Fig Jam cake more as I enjoyed the fig jam filling in the cake. Having come back from Korea, where Paris Baguette originated, I went to several during my trip and none were as large as this one. I will be back to this store soon. read more

My go-to study spot! Tasty pastries that do not disappoint, lots of indoor seating with outlets, and WiFi access. Paris Baguette is on the pricier side but I'm willing to pay for higher quality pastries that will never let you down. There's also lots of selection and they restock. The service here is also quite welcoming and you can ask the workers to warm up you're baked good if you wish to eat it now. There's also different size boxes for your pastries if you're taking them to go. The workers usually ask. I love the ambiance and chill vibes here. It's never too crowded not too quiet, it's the perfect balance. It's been very clean here and I feel comfortable just sitting here for a quick bite or to do some work. Finally, Hayward gets something nice out here lol! This is the perfect bakery on Mission to get all your pastry needs. Most of the time I go to our almond croissants some of the fruit tarts, and some of the savory pastries as well. I've been at different times of the day and week and I haven't really seen it too busy however it is a perfect place to get some work done (although I would be cautious), catch up with a friend or even just stop by for a quick bite. They also do have cakes too that range a bit more pricier than most however, their cakes are not super sweet! So glad a Paris Baguette finally opened up in my neighborhood. I decided to stop by on a Friday afternoon for some pastries. Parking was fairly easy, especially since street parking was the only option. I really liked how spacious and clean it was inside. I also liked that they had so many different pastries available. I picked out a few but my favorite was the fruit pastry because it was not too sweet and loved how crispy the crust was. I also ordered a lavender matcha frappe and it was delicious! I will be stopping by often from here on out knowing that it is so close to my home. I can also bring my laptop to get some work done since there are plenty of tables and seats available. There was not much street parking so i had a walk. I noticed a sign that says parking in rear and totally missed it. I walked in and was greeted right away. This location has so many options it was hard to decide. This place was busy but the line would move so fast. Everyone was so friendly and made you feel welcomed. Decided to come here to meet up with a mommy friend for a play date. I needed my coffee and this place just opened up for what a great excuse to get out of the house for once. This place is located in the Sohay complex. Today was day 6 of the new location opening and we met the owner, A B, and he was very friendly! The inside is very large compared to the Fremont location with lots of seating , great for hanging out or studying! There were also some baby high chairs which were useful to me , just a nice little thing to have available. I ordered a ice mocha latte, yummy and refreshing. My favorite also is the curry croquette. A nice little thing they do is offering to toast your pastries fresh if your eating in! My friend's husband is also egg allergic , so when we asked the owner if there were vegan options was surprised to learn that there were! 5/5 the workers were very friendly , we were greeted multiple times during our morning breakfast coffee play date . The pastries are just so beautiful and delicious looking in the glass cabinets. We are so happy a nice coffee bakery establishment has come to town! I have been to many Paris Baguette locations multiple times over the years, it's a place I frequent and this location grossed me out. I have been here three times, today was the third time and their tongues are always dirty. They use them, and put them back without washing. How do I know that?? Because they always have food residue like cake cream on them. Bad customer service is one thing, but a restaurant or bakery that doesn't wash its tongues tells me they don't have good sanitary conditions and standards. Disgusting and unacceptable. read more

It's pretty new so everything was brand spanking fresh. No parking lot but I was able to do street parking right out front, which made it easy to leave after (it is on a crowded street so be aware of that!). Food-wise, I tried a curry bun and dinner roll (a crowd favorite), both warmed up after purchase. The dinner roll stood out - so simple, yet so satisfying. (It may also be because I prefer savory to sweet.) There were lots of people when I went, but not too noisy and I had plenty of space and room to spread out. They're also open pretty late so if you're craving a snack at night, this might be the place to go in Hayward. I would definitely come back to try more things. read more

I can't say enough about the melt-in-your-mouth freshness of everything I had here. And then, wait, listen, and THEN there's something really special about them little pepperoni pizzas, lord I'm not exaggerating. The bread is flaky, the sauce is unique and tastes oh so fresh, I wanted more but silly me waited until I got home and ate everything that night. There's something very unique about the flavor of that little pepperoni thingy. And THEN, the owner captivated my 79-year-old mother in a conversation, and she already loves this place. He thanked her for coming back, (this is her second visit) and I overheard him telling her that he hasn't yet marketed, and that he might not do any marketing because it's really special when customers come back and tell their friends. Then the friends just come in and say "wow". So I'm here to say I was wow'd. I love this place! Parking here is a hit or a miss, there's parking on the street and if you're lucky, a space in the lot behind. I really like this location though, it has made hayward a very attractive spot filled with new stores that make people want to visit! The interior is huge, offering ample seating for studying, grabbing food and drinks with friends, or families to come for pastries. I love Paris baguettes and often frequent the one closer to me in SF but it's nice to see my hometown opening more spots like this. We met up with some of my friends here for coffee and pastries post lunch. We were amazed to see the many varieties of pastries they have from savory to sweet! They also have packed goodies ready to be taken home if needed. They also have cakes! I wish we have P.B close-by so I can try some of their cakes. We ordered a few pastries to share. I had pizetta with raspberry and nutella, My husband had blueberry and cream cheese pasty and my daughter had chocolate macarons. I also ordered lavender latte.
