The Eastern at Coronado Center Henderson Starbucks is the junction of my nostalgia and future hiking adventures. When I moved to Las Vegas in 2004, Eastern at Horizon Ridge was my first address. It was right across the street from the former location at Eastern at Horizon Ridge in the Smith's-anchored shopping center. That was when Starbucks appeared to be more about the third place experience than cookie cutter locations with drive thrus. Over the years I moved away from that intersection as did Starbucks. In the mid 2000s they opened this stand alone location a short distance north. It is a location that delivers me back to the 2004 nostalgia when K-mart anchored the shopping center. There has been a significant nostalgia factor in my recent visits that preceded my 2025/2026 nearby hikes in Henderson and the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. Just like 2004, the area is busy. So much to the point of it being challenging to park here. I left my car at home and arrived from the nearby RTC 110 bus stop (I enjoy walking). On the majority of my pre-review visits (June 23, 2026), the morning rush had created a very busy cafe. Owing to effective leadership the line has moved fast. Despite the morning vibe, there is an extra friendliness to the cafe. On a few of my visits the hardworking barista welcomed me by saying that refills are free. Right away that presents a welcoming vibe. The barista has also encouraged me to try other flavors on the refill. With the friendliness, my tall coffee and buttered bagel was served quickly as was the complimentary venti Frapuccino on my Birthday. What about the cafe where the barista has welcomed me to stay around? It is a cookie cutter Starbucks that falls short of the uniqueness and third place vibe of the previous location. Regardless it is a moderately inviting environment for working or relaxing. It is an elongated lobby where the tables overlook south-facing windows and ends in a small room with a common table complimented by a couple of others. There are additional tables on the outdoor patio. I feel that this Starbucks would've been better positioned if the layout was reversed. While waiting by the counter, I could see through the drive through window. That window provides a spectacular vista of the Las Vegas Strip and valley. A lobby with the indoor and patio seating faced north, overlooking the spectacular vista of the Las Vegas Strip and valley would elevate this Starbucks experience. Especially during dawn and early evening. Speaking of "elevate," I have seen inflation do this to prices. My cup of coffee that had been $2.87 in the early months of 2026 has reached $3.20. The bagel has also gone up. It is a fact of the coffee drinking life that I accept. When it comes to "accept," I have accepted the fact that the Eastern at Coronado Center Starbucks is a welcoming cafe that bridges my Las Vegas nostalgia with my future hiking adventures. read more

This review is for the Starbucks drive-thru at this location only. I typically go to this one because it is right on the way home from places I need to go to on a weekly basis, and it's super convenient. The drive-thru is pretty busy, but is never a long wait. I actually enjoy going through the drive-thru as it gives me an opportunity to gauge the attentiveness and attitude of the person working the drive-thru. In every case that I've been at this particular Starbucks, the drive-thru personnel has always been warm, friendly and in. I don't think I've ever been here. When the person taking my order was asking how my day was and engaging rather than high. What do you want. This means a lot because I appreciate someone making me feel like their business establishment is an extension of my home. Even though the line was long, it moved along at a very rapid Pace. I appreciate when things happen in a timely fashion. I get it in this day and age where Amazon ships same day to your home, that we start to take the preparation of things for granted, but I appreciate knowing that the food is being taken care of. That being said, I have never had anything come through the drive-thru of this place that I've had to return or wasn't correct. Bottom line? If you are riding around and need a quick refreshment or a quick breakfast in the morning, I would highly recommend this Starbucks right off of Eastern avenue. read more

We recently moved here from California and drive 10 minutes from our new home because this Starbucks location is our new favorite! Every time we come here, the baristas are genuine and friendly, they make amazing drinks, they play great music, and the outdoor patio is spacious and inviting. This last weekend, the baristas saw us on the patio with our little doggie in his birthday hat (14 years old!). Alex, Star, Zia, and Kiara decorated a cup and made him the most amazing pup cup and surprised us with it. They were just so sweet with the best customer service! This location is worth the drive! Nicest baristas and great service here :) Drinks are always good. If not, they are quick to fix it with a smile :) The drive thru gets busy most days so patience is a virtue. Just know that they are taking the time to make your drink the way you ordered it so it could take another few seconds. Good place to study or just chill. This is definitely one of the busier Starbucks that I visit, with there being a high school right around the corner, mornings can definitely turn into long waits. I like to order ahead here Monday through Friday before I drop my daughter off at Coronado, so by the time I get to Starbucks my items are ready. My go to right now is part of their holiday menu, the venti Caramel Brûlée latte, it's sweet but not overly sweet and the perfect holiday drink, and some of my go to food items are the spinach and feta wrap for when I'm wanting a somewhat healthier fast breakfast alternative when I'm on the run, I also enjoy their impossible breakfast sandwich. This location is a bit smaller than the location near me and the patio is not quite as comfortable, but the beverages at this location just taste better. If you want to beat the lines and relax or get work finished, come here early on the weekends. read more

Ok so I'm giving 3 stars because of something I saw and made me very disappointed. A Henderson Police Officer arrived. I pulled my gift card to pay for his coffee. He only ordered a CUP OF WATER. Come one STARBUCKS, train your staff to drop everything and service our Police Officers FIRST. He was standing for a while. I got to my car, finished my croissant and started drinking my coffee when I saw him still standing waiting for WATER! I got out of my car and was ready to ask for water myself to give it to him. He walked out with his cup of water. I apologized for Starbucks uncaring service to our community. Thank Sir for your services and putting your life on the line every day. To you reading my reviews .. yeah this location seems cleaned, ambiance was nice, people seem enjoying their coffee. The staff seem working and nice. BUT I FEEL NOW LIKE THROWING AWAY MY CUP OF COFFEE! I came here to redeem my birthday reward! I ordered a sausage egg cheddar sandwich. I went through the drive thru and surprisingly it wasn't too busy and the staff were super nice! I ordered my sandwich and I let the staff know that I was going to redeem my birthday reward. This was my first time redeeming it, so I didn't know what to expect. As I pulled up, the staff member scanned my card and handed me my breakfast sandwich! He also greeted me a happy birthday! The sandwich was fresh! It was nice and warm. I come here a few times a week I usually order two .Today I just ordered one so I can tell when my order isn't right and when you pay almost $7 for one coffee it needs to be right . Right away when she handed me my latte. I knew it wasn't full. I shook it while I was at the window. When I can stick my whole finger in the cup and it's all foam then I know it's not full. So I ask for them to remake my drink. The first lady said ...it seems pretty full to me. The second lady agreed to have it remade ..as my drink is being remade. You can hear the chatter from all the workers commenting on how they feel the drink wasn't half full. I feel like that's a little unprofessional. If the customer thinks the drink wasn't how it's supposed to be or how they normally get it ..then remake it without the negative commentary that everyone can hear. Just a side note , Dutch Brothers was offering 50 extra points just for getting a drink with them today . Yes I order from both places weekly . I've never once got a half full drink from them . Experiences like this could cause me to go to Dutch Brothers more often . When there is so many competitors in the industry you should really make sure your product is good. I mean really notda !!! Got a hot tea and cream cheese danish. I always like a pack of brown sugar on my tea but I went thru the whole store even at the BR area but didn't see the self service area. I ended up asking for the brown sugar, then I realize there's no stir sticks. I even call my husband to confirm making sure I'm not crazy cuz he visit this location way more than I do. Quick Review. This is a very busy competent, well staffed, and moderate sized venue....with a busy drive through. Anthem, Seven Hills Area. . We have been coming here for about a year and they handle all orders with ease. Fall Flavors: Pumpkin Spice, of course, and this year 'Apple Crisp' Macchiato. I ordered it hot as recommended by a trusted You Tuber, and, it was very good. Espresso, Milk (I had soy milk), and Sweet flavored syrup. Very nice. Distinct flavors yet very subtle at the same time. They got this one right. The Pumpkin Spice Macchiato with ice is good too but I really prefer the Apple Crisp. Usually, I just get black coffee here. I've also tried black hot decaf which is amazingly full flavored. StarBucks does serve excellent coffee and not just flavored speciality drinks. They have not forgotten their roots. I swung by this Starbucks after an appointment at St. Rose hospital down the road. I'm not really a Starbucks person these days anymore, but I decided that I wanted a coffee fix. I went inside rather than going through the drive thru. Because we're still required to wear a mask in public settings, it was difficult to give the barista, named Erin, my order. I had to speak up and repeat my order to Erin twice. Based on her tone, Erin wasn't very cheerful. It sounded like she was done with today and wanted to clock out of her job and go home. Pre-COVID, a venti iced coffee was $3.19, it's now $4.06. Look, I know establishments are raising their prices because of COVID, but $4 for a venti iced coffee? C'mon, that's ridiculous if you ask me. I'm still giving them four stars because my coffee was made just right. read more

This is one of my favorite locations to visit on this side of town. They have some employees that show how much they love working here. Today we ran into Paco, a well soft spoken young man with a great attitude and a really cool sense of humor. The drive thru wait time was minimal, oftentimes we find ourselves in a long wait even with minimal cars in line, which tells me that this place has finally put a crew together that can handle the workflow. In by out and about I happened to drop into this Starbucks and needed that little lift of caffeine to make it through the rest of the day. This store I believe sees a lot of tourist traffic since they have so much Las Vegas merchandise. But that's ok since I am slurping and rescuing a Vegas coffee cup so that I can have a fabulous look to my coffee every morning. I ended up ordering a Carmel macchiato, it seems to be my go to drink. I don't like this Starbucks location at all. The parking is horrendous. There are only maybe 10 spots? The rest are further away in the Trader Joe's parking lot. I usually don't complain about walking, but you try parking far in the summer time with a 7 month old! The drive through is forever long. The customers that visit this location are just as bad. You have your snooty white girls who wear makeup with gym clothes to your grumpy old people who feel entitled to the douche bags who don't bother to see you behind them and don't hold the door open. Ugh just bad all around. Only saving grace for this location are the friendly cashiers I've encountered who have always been nice and had smiles on their faces.
