I love this refreshed space. So different than when it was just Coffee Religion. My friend and I got the jasmine matcha latte and it was so good. We could taste the jasmine and matcha. Will definitely come back for this. The space was so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Chairs were comfort as well. Stopped by Coffee Religion's Reading Room this morning and had a great experience! We were immediately greeted by Martín (I hope I spelled his name correctly) who was incredibly friendly. He seemed excited when we said it was our 1st time in :) I also asked about the books and Martín informed me that you're allowed to read any book while you're there and if you want to take any home, they offer used books (red sticker at $10) and new books (green sticker at $15). My husband and I were taking our drinks to-go today, but I'd love to come back soon to peruse their book collection and hang out. The space itself was so warm and inviting; lined with bookshelves, dotted with faux plants, and full of various seating. I also noticed ample outlet plugs for the bar style seats as well as an outlet plug on the back wall for anyone who wants to work remotely or study. There were 2 gender neutral restrooms onsite and plenty of parking. Now for the drinks... I was beyond excited to see they've partnered with LEEV and offer a fairly extensive matcha menu; something pretty rare for this area. All of the matcha drinks sounded delicious, but I chose the Ube Matcha with Oat Milk and it was perfection. They use a very high quality matcha that was evident by the vibrant green hue as well as the nice umami notes with subtle sweetness. I was happy to see Martín hand whisking the matcha with a traditional chasen too. This definitely is in my top 3 places for matcha in Vegas Valley and is hands down the best in West Henderson/Anthem area! My husband loves coffee and the movie "Pulp Fiction", which is why it was an easy choice for him to get the "Pulp Fiction" coffee which had chocolate, vanilla, and orange blossom. He said it had a nice balance of sweetness and reminded him of the chocolate oranges you get during the holidays. Although we took our drinks to go, we had a wonderful first experience. First time here and I had one of their signature lattes. I believe it was an iced brown butter latte. Coffee was mild, flavorful and had good depth. I've been a fan of Coffee Religion since they opened the first location and it's been cool to see them expand across the valley. This location in Henderson seems to be struggling more than others, possibly because it's in an area already saturated with great coffee options. They closed for remodeling over the holidays and recently reopened this location with a "Reading Room" concept with built in bookshelves and a quieter atmosphere to encourage quiet reading, working, or lingering. On my recent visit with a large group for book club, it felt kind of empty but it should warm up as the shelves fill up. I do like that the shelves are organized and grouped with sticky note labels for fiction, cookbooks, memoirs, etc. Note they have a promo on social media to bring in a book to donate and get a free coffee. The menu has "coffee" misspelled and only one of their signature lattes, and a handful of pastries. Thankfully my hot Maple Reeves came out with their usual beautiful latte art, and the warmed chicken curry puff was tasty. Hopefully they bring back the tamago egg salad sandwich as well, it's one of their signature items that several of us were planning to order- the barista let us know that people have been constantly asking for it, so fingers crossed. Service was very friendly. Our book club had a good time checking out the new spot, discussing our last read, and browsing the shelves. There were several books with discount stickers from their original store (i.e. 30% off Target stickers that I peeled off myself), but it is unclear how the books are priced here. Their social media page recently announced their own upcoming book club - I like the idea of purchasing a $15 voucher (redeemed in store for food and beverage purchase?) to hold your spot, help ensure people show up, and help them plan for the right group size. I'm not sure a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 really allows many people to attend, a weekend would probably be better. It seems like the remodel is intended to help them offer something different to the area and increase traffic. I love matcha so I searched through Yelp to find a good matcha place. I read so many good reviews for this place so I was so excited to try their matcha. I got the ube matcha with vanilla cream on top. It was delicious. The price was a bit expensive but their matcha was good quality. Additionally, the add on charges were not very clear. I visited Coffee Religion Reading Room today after seeing it on TikTok and didn't realize yesterday was their soft launch. I'm happy I was able to stop by so soon. The space is beautifully decorated: stylish, zen, and impeccably clean. I love the curated collection of books available for books (organized by genre!) along with several retail items like totes and journals. The barista was very amiable and personable. I asked about different drink options and he took the time to explain them, including that their hojicha is sourced directly from Japan. I ordered an iced Godzilla latte with almond milk and a touch of vanilla. I love trying different tea lattes, and this one was genuinely unique. It's nutty and comforting. The balance between the hojicha and matcha was perfect, and I'd absolutely order it again. There's plenty of seating and little nooks, making it a great spot to read, relax, or work. I also noticed pastries and muffins on display. I'm not sure if they offer more substantial food options. Searched for a local coffee shop to visit between commitments and came across Coffee Religion. Like so many local businesses in Vegas, it's tucked in an unassuming strip mall. But once you enter, it's anything but unassuming. It's clean, modern, spacious, serene, and a little bit quirky. I was greeted by the arguably nicest barista I think I've ever met. She was helpful without being overbearing. And I most appreciated how pared down the menu was. I find it intimidating to visit coffee shops that have a Cheesecake Factory level menu. At Coffee Religion it was clean and simple. I elected for the Viet. Style Iced Coffee, and it didn't disappoint. The shop has wifi, so you can knock out some work. They sell select books and had signage indicating support for book clubs, so it's definitely a reader's paradise. I can't wait to return. Check them out! read more

As I handed over cash for my drink, I was told they didn't take cash, no apologies not even a smile while we were there. There was both a male and a female working and only three of us in the shop so no excuses. They both demonstrated a lack of care that we were even patronizing their business. My husband and I asked for our pastries to go. His was placed in a bag, mine in a not so easy to access container. Our drinks were mediocre, and not a trash can in sight. Not worth the visit. But what you will get here there's a place to relax and talk with friends or pick up one of the mini books that they have on their shelves there was one barista behind the counter, and she was very helpful and friendly being my first time in. A couple that came in behind me seemed to be a little bit snooty and of the Starbucks level because the gentleman was unhappy that he could not get a receipt or that he did not run the iPad to have one email to you correctly. It's just coffee, dude you don't need to write it off. Other than that very low-key beat Nick type vibe. This so seems like a place that on Saturday nights could have a good crowd of local poets not that I know that that is happening but just seems like the place to do such a thing. This is the 3rd Coffee Religion spot that I've been to in Las Vegas and it does NOT disappoint!! First off the coffee shop is so clean and beautiful. It's very welcoming. We ended up grabbing a few coffees and breakfast at this spot and everything was delicious. These are the items we had. The Ja-Burrito - What an interesting name but it's one of the better breakfast burritos that I've had. Burrito came warm and fresh. The avocado and special mayonnaise really make this tasty. Came with a side of like sriracha sauce. Can't go wrong with this one. (4.5/5) Breakfast at Tiffany's Sandwich - This is a classic egg sando on a delicious brioche bun. Really enjoyed it, flavors match well together and the chips are crispy & delicious. (5/5) Pulp Fiction - Love the latte art and this is a well made balanced coffee. Good start to the morning. (4.5/5) Godzilla Latte - Name doesn't make sense but this is delicious. Flavors go so well together this will be my new goto. My only complaint would be that we were sitting next to the entrance of the establishment, so it was difficult to have privacy or conversation with people coming in and out of the place the whole time. Tasted like a regular latte IMO - didn't get any hints of any of the flavors mentioned in the drink but it tasted fine! Just kind of boring. However, not sure how many shots of espresso it had in a small (maybe 1?) because within 2 hours I knocked out for a 2 hour nap lol. For $6, I'd like my coffee to do its job a little better LOL. We love to try new coffee shops in our area so we went to check this one out since it's close by. The inside is very bright and inviting. The grey chairs are very comfortable. The bench seating on the other hand was not (if I may suggest adding a cushion for some comfort). The food was just ok, it didn't have a wow factor to it. There wasn't anything we tried that we felt we couldn't have made at home for the same quality of taste. The coffee was really good. I ordered the maple latte expecting it to be very sweet but surprisingly it wasn't very sweet at all, which to me was great. It was a perfect balance of flavors. My husband ordered their fall seasonal drink, which was fantastic as well. We would revisit for the coffee alone. The staff was very nice and friendly. I have been wanting to check out this cafe for so long and I finally had a chance the other day. The cafe gets a ton of natural light and is very spacious. The chairs are comfy, and there are a lot of seats. The staff were so friendly, walked me through the menu, and I had a very pleasant experience. We visited Coffee Religion's Charleston location years ago and loved our experience so we were so happy to find out that they were opening a location down the street from us. We visited on a Thursday around 12:30, they were a few people sitting down and enjoying coffee and 1 person in line in front of us. There were 2 girls working in the back and 1 guy taking orders, making coffee drinks and delivering them to tables; they definitely seemed short handed. They definitely could have used another person. With that being said the 1 guy doing it all did a great job and maintained a great attitude the whole time. Our coffee drinks were great as well. This new location is bright and kind of institutional looking inside whereas I liked the interior decor of the Charleston location better. I present to you my 800th Yelp review, which is for Coffee Religion. Coffee Religion's Henderson location has finally opened! I've heard so many great things about this place and decided to pop in after my workout. They can be found on Eastern and Horizon Ridge (before you reach Coronado Center) just behind Pinkbox Doughnuts. A hotel is also next door, and if I was staying there, I would be walking over here every day. It wasn't busy at all when I walked in, with the exception of three other people inside getting work done on their laptops. Definitely a great place for people to study or work. Inside they have plenty of seating, with barstool tops, chairs, and couches, plus one table outside. They also have various merchandise available for purchase at the front of the shop, such as t-shirts and water bottles. Looking at their drink menu, I knew that I wanted their Purple Rain signature coffee in a 16oz cup (which shares the same name as the Prince song/movie), which has lavender and white chocolate in it. I LOVE coffee that includes lavender because it makes it taste so much better. I overheard the baristas talking about how amazing the Purple Rain is, so I knew that it would be a great drink. And yep, I was righty-o here! The Purple Rain was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend this drink to those who have not visited Coffee Religion yet but plan to in the near future.
