Before I get into my full review, which I am writing July 26, 2026, I want to share what the staff informed me of yesterday: this location is permanently closing in 6 days, so if CRR has been on your list of businesses to try, I would get there ASAP. This is the Henderson branch of Coffee Religion located on Eastern and Horizon Ridge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was ample parking outside and a cozy atmosphere inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They recently rebranded to Coffee Religion Reading Room and added shelves and shelves of books to the store space. It uplifted the space tremendously and made me feel like I was in a New York style cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have also recently collaborated with LEEV and offer a variety of matcha drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were several other customers in the store, who were chatting, working, and reading. There was light music playing in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend and I came here to eat, drink, and read. We were able to accomplish this and spent about 3 hours here. We never felt pressured to hurry or leave. We ordered our food, including a ham and cheese croissant and a smoked salmon sandwich. The food was fresh and delicious. Both of our sandwiches were served with a side of chips that were sprinkled with furikake seasoning. The ham and cheese croissant was a nice savory contrast to the sweet drinks. The smoked salmon sandwich had a bit of a spicy kick. My friend ordered a matcha and really liked it. I had two drinks throughout my visit, including the whipped honey butter latte (which I highly recommend) and the copacabana. I appreciated that the latte was not overly sweet or strong. I could actually taste the flavors versus just tasting the coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We purchased some merchandise including stickers and bags. There was a sign on the door promoting book club meetings. I am deeply saddened to hear that this branch will be closing as I could see myself coming here regularly. However, I will continue to support and try to make the drive out to the Centennial location. read more

LOVE that they have a new location in Henderson, and so cool that they have LEEV matcha drinks, because the usual location I go to up north has the two places completely separated. I got the double sea salt hojicha, which was really creamy and still had a good hojicha flavor despite all the salt cream! As well as the almond croissant. Perfect spot to bring your own book or pick out something that they have on the shelf. I like that they give the options to buy the book if you love it too! Stopped by Coffee Religion's Reading Room this morning and had a great experience! We were immediately greeted by Martín (I hope I spelled his name correctly) who was incredibly friendly. He seemed excited when we said it was our 1st time in :) I also asked about the books and Martín informed me that you're allowed to read any book while you're there and if you want to take any home, they offer used books (red sticker at $10) and new books (green sticker at $15). My husband and I were taking our drinks to-go today, but I'd love to come back soon to peruse their book collection and hang out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself was so warm and inviting; lined with bookshelves, dotted with faux plants, and full of various seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also noticed ample outlet plugs for the bar style seats as well as an outlet plug on the back wall for anyone who wants to work remotely or study.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were 2 gender neutral restrooms onsite and plenty of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now for the drinks... I was beyond excited to see they've partnered with LEEV and offer a fairly extensive matcha menu; something pretty rare for this area. All of the matcha drinks sounded delicious, but I chose the Ube Matcha with Oat Milk and it was perfection. They use a very high quality matcha that was evident by the vibrant green hue as well as the nice umami notes with subtle sweetness. I was happy to see Martín hand whisking the matcha with a traditional chasen too. This definitely is in my top 3 places for matcha in Vegas Valley and is hands down the best in West Henderson/Anthem area! My husband loves coffee and the movie "Pulp Fiction", which is why it was an easy choice for him to get the "Pulp Fiction" coffee which had chocolate, vanilla, and orange blossom. He said it had a nice balance of sweetness and reminded him of the chocolate oranges you get during the holidays. Although we took our drinks to go, we had a wonderful first experience. I've been a fan of Coffee Religion since they opened the first location and it's been cool to see them expand across the valley. This location in Henderson seems to be struggling more than others, possibly because it's in an area already saturated with great coffee options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They closed for remodeling over the holidays and recently reopened this location with a "Reading Room" concept with built in bookshelves and a quieter atmosphere to encourage quiet reading, working, or lingering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]On my recent visit with a large group for book club, it felt kind of empty but it should warm up as the shelves fill up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do like that the shelves are organized and grouped with sticky note labels for fiction, cookbooks, memoirs, etc.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Note they have a promo on social media to bring in a book to donate and get a free coffee. The menu has "coffee" misspelled and only one of their signature lattes, and a handful of pastries. Thankfully my hot Maple Reeves came out with their usual beautiful latte art, and the warmed chicken curry puff was tasty. Hopefully they bring back the tamago egg salad sandwich as well, it's one of their signature items that several of us were planning to order- the barista let us know that people have been constantly asking for it, so fingers crossed. Service was very friendly. Our book club had a good time checking out the new spot, discussing our last read, and browsing the shelves. There were several books with discount stickers from their original store (i.e. 30% off Target stickers that I peeled off myself), but it is unclear how the books are priced here. Their social media page recently announced their own upcoming book club - I like the idea of purchasing a $15 voucher (redeemed in store for food and beverage purchase?) to hold your spot, help ensure people show up, and help them plan for the right group size. I'm not sure a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 really allows many people to attend, a weekend would probably be better. It seems like the remodel is intended to help them offer something different to the area and increase traffic. I visited Coffee Religion Reading Room today after seeing it on TikTok and didn't realize yesterday was their soft launch. I'm happy I was able to stop by so soon. The space is beautifully decorated: stylish, zen, and impeccably clean. I love the curated collection of books available for books (organized by genre!) along with several retail items like totes and journals. The barista was very amiable and personable. I asked about different drink options and he took the time to explain them, including that their hojicha is sourced directly from Japan. I ordered an iced Godzilla latte with almond milk and a touch of vanilla. I love trying different tea lattes, and this one was genuinely unique. It's nutty and comforting. The balance between the hojicha and matcha was perfect, and I'd absolutely order it again. There's plenty of seating and little nooks, making it a great spot to read, relax, or work. I also noticed pastries and muffins on display. I'm not sure if they offer more substantial food options. Overall, it is a very welcoming environment, and it'll probably be my go-to after my Trader Joe's runs. read more

As I handed over cash for my drink, I was told they didn't take cash, no apologies not even a smile while we were there. There was both a male and a female working and only three of us in the shop so no excuses. They both demonstrated a lack of care that we were even patronizing their business. This is your very basic coffee shop with not a lot of free drinks or even blended options. Local newer coffee shop that offer some lunch items. They close at 4:00 pm daily. I arrived at 3:56 on a sunday and both the kids behind the counter had such a great attitude. This is the 3rd Coffee Religion spot that I've been to in Las Vegas and it does NOT disappoint!! First off the coffee shop is so clean and beautiful. It's very welcoming. We ended up grabbing a few coffees and breakfast at this spot and everything was delicious. These are the items we had. The Ja-Burrito - What an interesting name but it's one of the better breakfast burritos that I've had. Burrito came warm and fresh. The avocado and special mayonnaise really make this tasty. Came with a side of like sriracha sauce. Can't go wrong with this one. (4.5/5) Breakfast at Tiffany's Sandwich - This is a classic egg sando on a delicious brioche bun. Really enjoyed it, flavors match well together and the chips are crispy & delicious. (5/5) Pulp Fiction - Love the latte art and this is a well made balanced coffee. Good start to the morning. (4.5/5) Godzilla Latte - Name doesn't make sense but this is delicious. Flavors go so well together this will be my new goto. Both coffees were ordered xtra HOT & were prepared correctly The egg salad was presented sliced in thirds on white bread (you might be able to have different bread, ‍) served with chips a very nice presentation indeed very tasty according to my husband once he added a lil salt & pepper My avocado toast was excellent it comes with hard boiled eggs which I asked to be left off. What a charming location and an enjoyable tea experience. The food was delicious and the tea choices were vast. Something for everyone. The surface was great. We had our own staff. My only complaint would be that we were sitting next to the entrance of the establishment, so it was difficult to have privacy or conversation with people coming in and out of the place the whole time. Staff were super friendly and informative on selection of coffee. Went for the most popular, Maple Reeves with oat milk. Tasted like a regular latte IMO - didn't get any hints of any of the flavors mentioned in the drink but it tasted fine! Just kind of boring. However, not sure how many shots of espresso it had in a small (maybe 1?) because within 2 hours I knocked out for a 2 hour nap lol. For $6, I'd like my coffee to do its job a little better LOL. Overall an average coffee experience, don't know that I'd go out of my way to come again but if I'm in the area might pop back in to try a different coffee and perhaps some breakfast! read more

We love to try new coffee shops in our area so we went to check this one out since it's close by. The inside is very bright and inviting. The grey chairs are very comfortable. The bench seating on the other hand was not (if I may suggest adding a cushion for some comfort). The food was just ok, it didn't have a wow factor to it. There wasn't anything we tried that we felt we couldn't have made at home for the same quality of taste. The coffee was really good. I ordered the maple latte expecting it to be very sweet but surprisingly it wasn't very sweet at all, which to me was great. It was a perfect balance of flavors. My husband ordered their fall seasonal drink, which was fantastic as well. We would revisit for the coffee alone. The staff was very nice and friendly. Overall the coffee, staff, and ambiance is what they have going for them so I would suggest trying based off of those things. read more

What an adorable coffee shop! The please is so cute and I really want to go back to do the high tea. I went here on a whim with some girlfriends on a super busy day so I can't remember the names of most of what we ordered. Sowwy.... Coffee was all perfection - not sweet and perfectly flavored. The grilled cheese was savory and unique. The bacon and tomatoes melted right into the sandwich. The pear toast with Marcapone was so uniquely prepared and easy to eat I didn't want to share it!!
