This is my favorite Starbucks location in Irvine! (I swear the Alton one hates me for some reason and always gives me a hard time, and the Crossroads one is busy because of the high school kids). Lines are pretty long in the morning during the morning rush/work hours, and the line doesn't move as fast as I want to, but any other time I come, their customer service is great. The reason why I like this location is because they make my drink perfectly without giving me any hassle :P I've never had a bad drink here! They're also super friendly, and chat with you if they're not too busy. Individual tables are a little small and large/community tables are in the middle of the Starbucks! Very cool little Starbucks located right off of the 405 at exit 3. I do quite a bit of business in the area and frequent this establishment often. I even manage to hit this location up when on the road from Los Angeles to San Diego. What I dig about this location it is literally right off of the freeway and located in a large shopping center which includes several banks, restaurants, yoga studio's, gas station, CVS & a Supermarket. This location is always clean and always smells clean but it is a little too small for my overall liking. If you are going to hit up this location on the weekend you better come early to secure a seat. Just like any Starbucks this one is no different people flock, secure their seat and hold onto it. There is outdoor seating available which is nice when the weather is manageable. As for the service here I have gone in when there was only 1-2 people ahead of me and the line moved quickly. Other times I have visited and had the same amount of people in front of me and had to wait an extended period of time for my drink. I have shown up to this location later in the day and walked n to find a line of 10+ people and simply walked out. I dig this location when it is empty but when there is a line I try and avoid it. I will continue to visit this location when I am in the area for business. I frequent this location to get me some Starbucks and enjoy a meal and do a little shopping all within walking distance of each other. I support this locations dedication to supporting local activities and community events by allowing patrons to post flyers onto their bulletin board. The parking lot for the Quail Hill Shopping Center in which this Starbucks is located in is the size of several football fields. No matter the time of day or year you visit you will always be able to secure parking. Just be on the lookout for the bicyclists and their silly clothing zooming through the parking lot=) read more

Standard Starbucks affair, decent selection of my kids favorites (cake cake pops and artisan sandwiches which are often in low supply), decent cold sandwiches by lunchtime, baristas are usually efficient. The wait times can be quite long on weekends and mornings (more than other bux I frequent). Plan an extra 10 minutes on those days. Milk is often out at the front on weekends too. Decent tables inside (particularly the long table), not much in the way of comfortable seating. Outside options which are nice including couches and tables. Wifi seems slower than at other bux. I personally can't use this Starbucks for work. read more

This place is ALWAYS hopping and busy, but the baristas here always work fast and get our orders right. There was one time when I my name was labeled as "Zhang" instead of "John" (is that racist? lol) but other than that, nothing really to report! I frequent this Starbucks quite a bit... I suppose I should remember to check in. But at 6am, I need the caffeine to remind me to function. I typically like this location and the baristas are always nice, but they are super inconsistent. I hate the fact that I can be the only one in line, but I have to wait behind the many app orders. I'm talking a 15 minute wait with not a single other customer waiting, but TONS of app orders being processed. There has to be a better way. I'm not the app order kind of customer. I live really close to this location. It has been disappointing in their service, the last 2 times I have gone there. The first disappointing experience was when, I had my app loaded, ready to pay. I had about $68.00 on my Starbucks card. Before I scanned I could see my $68.00 . When I went I scanned it , I was told I had no money on my card! I told the cashier what had happened. If I could I'd give 3 1/2 stars... Pretty standard Starbucks. Walking distance from home and close to work makes this my usual place. Lots of seating inside and out. Baristas are always cordial and willing to fix orders if they aren't up to taste (which tends to be often, due to inconsistency). -1 star This might sound petty, but it's always FREEZING in here. -1/2 star Like unnaturally cold, I rarely have to bring sweaters to places, but I always do here. It makes it difficult to sit and focus on work. I often buy multiple items throughout my stay, so I'm not just sucking up WiFi use without being a good patron, so if the thermostat could just be raised to a comfortable degree, I would be forever grateful! read more

I did not appreciate the manager, Anthony's condescending tone when attempting to have a transaction voided sine the amount did not display on my Starbucks app account. He told my friend he was unable to void the transaction and should just deal with the issue by calling the Starbucks 1800 number. It was not until I asked him to try to void the transaction by actually trying to do it. His demeanor changed and was a but condescending in his behavior and tone. He said it's voided. But then refused to provide the receipt which was weird. I asked why we can't take the copy of the receipt and he was like okay you can take it I will just print another one. It is etiquette to provide receipt for voided transaction. This manager needs to be trained to the business process for Starbucks to ensure he can offer proper customer service with Starbucks standards. He should also be given training and/or mentorship on customer service. read more

Slowest Starbucks ever. I have been here multiple times as my father in law lives up the hill. It has always taken ~10mins to get drinks when ordering in the store, but today was a new low. We mobile ordered and it took 26mins from the time I placed the order to get my drink, which was a just a blonde roast drip. They were doing is as a pour over which they had forgotten to even start when I placed the order and then they forgot about the drink over behind the register. I personally love Starbucks and I'm hooked on their ice coffee! It's so good I believe it should be illegal but that's a whole different story. My go to drink is an iced coffee with cinnamon dolce and easy ice. For some reason a lot of the staff not this one but other locations mixed up cinnamon dolce with coconut milk. So I can tell this is a good Starbucks since they know how to read their markings. Always clean, super fast ,and super friendly! This Starbucks gets five stars from me! read more

So this particular location isn't my go to simply because there's one directly across the street from my office. This morning was different because I had to stop at albertsons which is in the same shopping center. I know from working in Irvine for about 3 years now this location can get extremely busy in the morning so I decided to order using my mobile app to avoid the line. I ordered a trenta mango black tea lemonade with extra ice, but when I get there I was informed there was no more mango syrup. Ugh! The thing about the mobile app is there's no way of knowing so the barista immediately apologized and offered my next drink on Starbucks! I stop by here on my way to work at around 7:45am and the workers have all been very quick with cashiering and the baristas have been efficient with getting the drinks. I know NIna below mentioned that the service is slow, but if you go before the 8:30am morning coffee traffic, you should be fine! The line usually goes by very quickly and the drink quality is good. I was really disappointed in Jake's lack of customer service. After realizing I was missing part of my order this morning, I walked over to him at the cash register to mention my missing item to him. He made it very apparent that I interrupted his conversation with his co-worker. When I told him I received the rest of my order close to 10 minutes ago, he said he'll write down my name on a cup AGAIN. As if I was the one who did something wrong. He then proceeded to suggest I talk to the baristas next time. I only went to him instead of the baristas because there was no one in line and he was just chatting away. Every saturaday & sunday morning before lessons and a day of golf, my brother has to come here for his mocha (somethingsomething) fix. And 1 out of every 3 visits, something gets screwed up. He gets REALLY pissed off when they fuck up something. ESPECIALLY, when it take a longlonglonglong time to get. Once he was SO mad because it took damn near 20 minutes to recieve his drinks and they made it all wrong. He just returned the drinks and got a refund. After that we went to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Haha! For some reasons, he keeps returning here. I guess one can keep hoping. I just get the SMALL coffee. No, not the "tall". Tall means that there is something small to compare it to, right?
