I went through the drive-thru tonight & saw the Pumpkin drinks fully advertised on the menu, so naturally I went to order one. I was then told they weren't available until tomorrow. When I pointed out, "Well, it's advertised on the sign," the response I received was, "We are prepping." I'm sorry, but if you are not selling an item yet, DO NOT advertise it to customers as if it is currently available. There was no "Coming Soon" banner, no indication that it launched tomorrow, nothing. We've all been to Starbucks & have seen how items are marked when they're sold out or unavailable, so there is clearly a way to communicate that. What made the experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of effort to accommodate the situation. If the store is already "prepping" for the launch tomorrow, it is very hard to believe the ingredients aren't already there. And considering the drinks were actively being advertised to customers, I would have expected at least some attempt to make it right rather than essentially being told, "Not until tomorrow." This is customer service 101. If a customer can see a product advertised on your menu with no disclaimer whatsoever, the reasonable expectation is that they can order it. If the promotion does not start until tomorrow, put the signage up tomorrow morning before opening, after closing tonight, or clearly mark it as "Coming Soon." Customers should not be expected to know an internal launch date that isn't communicated anywhere on the menu. Extremely frustrating experience & completely avoidable. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at Starbucks. One of the employees, Christine, was extremely rude, and the gentleman working alongside her did not allow me to see his name tag. What was most frustrating was that I stood waiting for my mobile order for over 10 minutes without a single employee acknowledging me or providing any update on my order. After waiting, I finally had to speak up and ask whether my drink was ready. Instead of responding professionally, Christine immediately seemed irritated and gave me an attitude. When the gentleman eventually finished my drink, Christine carelessly tossed it onto the counter without saying a word, rolled her eyes, and walked away. After looking at my drink there was no written note on my cup. My mobile order was supposed to be ready at 5:42 a.m., but I did not receive it until 5:52 a.m. The entire reason I placed a mobile order was to avoid waiting in the drive-thru. During the time I stood there waiting, the drive-thru line was completely cleared out and multiple customers were served before my drink was even made. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that my order was simply a tea. There was nothing complicated about it, yet I was ignored, treated disrespectfully, and forced to wait significantly longer than promised. Hello, I'm very disappointed with Starbucks. I'm writing this on behalf of my sister since she's a minor. She and our cousin went to this Starbucks location on Saturday 7/11/2026 around 2-3pm. The two young ladies there were rude and disrespectful to my sister and my cousin. She didn't call her name when the drinks were ready, she just called out the drinks which made my sister confused if it was hers or not. This isn't the worst part. When my sister got the drinks she noticed they didn't get the order right(she ordered two pink drinks with cold foam) they forgot the cold foam so when my sister told them, they gave her attitude and ask her for the receipt and my sister told them oh I didn't ask for one and the worker replied with "whatever, it's fine". This is the WORST part. When they got the drinks she slid one of the drinks to my sister and the drink fell and spilled on my sisters shoes and skirt and on our cousin pants and shoes. She gave a clear insincere apology and just remade the drink. If it was hot coffee instead my little sister would have gotten burned. The customer service here is a zero out of five. Last resort to visit here, and only out of convenience when it is 5:30 am? Early in the morning, but I go to order at the drive-thru. The person taking the order is in a mood. The wish I wasn't here and still in bed attitude. Not a "Good morning, what can I prepare for you today?" Instead, I can feel the energy through the speaker that is more liken to, "You are really bothering me right now, I wish I was still in bed, but since you are in the Starbucks drive-thru and I am here, although I wish I was somewhere else, I guess I'll take your order with grievance...What do you want?" The customer service experience continues at its zenith with lackadaisical behavior and demeanor at the window. Nothing worse than looking through the glass window and see my order waiting, but they delay. An abnormally long delay. They are not taking another order, they are fidgeting with other future food orders. But alas! I am greeted by the employee. Ah, the face to the poor performance now hands me the wrong drink order. I failed to check, my bad. Have you ever been given the wrong order by mistake? You take a sip and your taste buds revolt! How dare you trick us! Inconvenienced, I drive around, park, go inside and kindly set the wrong drink order on the counter and say, "Excuse me, You gave me the wrong drink order, and I drank from it." "That's fine," says the same employee in an unapologetic tone. "No, it's not fine. How about an apology for not paying attention at the window and getting my order right." No comment. Just ignores me like it is my problem, and my problem only. Doesn't accept personal responsibility, one iota. Doesn't ask me what my order was to promptly make a new one. Bad attitude, poor customer service. How much are they getting paid per hour and then expect a tip? Seriously, this location just got 86'd. Never again. I'm done. And, Starbucks is closing locations now more than ever. Competition has similar pricing, so you might want to look at the attitude of your personnel. I'll kindly take my patronage elsewhere. This is by far one of the worst Starbucks locations I've been to. The number of times my drinks and food have been made incorrectly is honestly unbelievable, and the customer service is consistently lacking. My most recent visit was especially frustrating. My friend ordered a iced coffee with banana cold foam and specifically asked for light cold foam. What she received was almost an entire cup of foam, with barely any coffee at the bottom. When she politely asked for a remake, the cashier argued with her, insisting it was made correctly. After asking again, they did remake it--but this time, it came back with just a literal drop of cold foam on top. It felt unnecessarily petty and unprofessional. I've also had a concerning experience myself. I ordered an iced matcha with only two scoops and whole milk due to a nut allergy. The drink initially seemed fine, but about 20 minutes later, I experienced a racing heart and developed hives. The matcha tasted unusually strong, and given my allergy, I'm concerned either the drink was made incorrectly with nut milk or there was cross-contamination. That's not something to take lightly, especially in a food and beverage setting. At this point, I've lost trust in this location. Mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and disregard for customer concerns--especially regarding allergies--is unacceptable. When I looked inside my bag I saw that it was still packaged in its original wrapper with an expiration date of 24/OCT/2024. I understand that many businesses will freeze products for later use and the expiration may not be accurate anymore but I have no way of verifying whether it was frozen or if it just wasn't properly rotated. Leaving this review with hope that the barista will try harder and that the SSV will work on his customer service. I visited the afternoon of 3/12 and ordered a shaken espresso with cold foam and food. The SSV took my order with what seemed to be passive aggressive attitude. Then when I was waiting for my drink, I watched the Barista (Brandon) shake my "shaken espresso" 3 times. When he finished it more so felt like he was dismissing me instead of handing me my drink and thanking me for waiting, like a normal interaction with a customer. I was given a cup that contained what looked to be an iced latte with cold foam because there was no espresso foam or cascade in sight. It doesn't take a Starbucks regular to know that a shaken espresso beverage should get shaken more than 3 times but it was also disappointing that he then diluted it with milk. I respect how starbucks is trying to "standardize" their drink standards, but it's interactions like these that remind me how much work needs to be done at some locations. read more

Horrible customer service. I asked for a blended melon burst they make it in chunks of ice I ask if they can re blend it and they take my drink and start talking back and forth. I explain to the cashier that everytime they don't blend it good the chunks turn into an ice rock while drinking it. I always order the same thing at every Starbucks location yet this specific location always gives pushback about the way I order it. Vanilla sweet cream cold brew with extra cold foam. Every other Starbucks location seems to understand what I mean. Even if this isn't the "correct" way to order a drink, some good customer service would be to ask clarifying questions. IE. would you like extra sweet cream on top, or can you clarify what you mean? Instead, I'm greeted with attitude or snark about the drink "it's not made that way." No two starbucks are ever the same. And even this one is different in quality and service each visit. Some days I get a really well made tea or Frappuccino and others it's missing things, very little cold foam or ice and the customer service is a hit or miss. Today was one of those off days and I had about half an inch of ice for a venti iced Chai with another half inch of added pumpkin cold foam so my drink tasted pretty lukewarm. The best part is that this location has a drive thru making it super convenient but the parking lot to get through is so busy and can be difficult to get in and out. read more

So I started coming here about two weeks ago because I started a new training program right up the street and I thought it was pretty cool that there was a Starbucks right next to me two minutes away normally I don't have any problems with this Starbucks but today I'm very upset! On my last stop in Irvine, California, I decided to come here to this Starbucks location after having dinner. Family was gracious enough to let me grab something on the way to the hotel. I arrived at this Starbucks cafe around 8:15pm on a Sunday night during Memorial Day weekend 2023. The ambiance was quintessential Starbucks and the music was jamming at a low volume. There was a couple of people studying or doing something important when I came thru. There were 2 baristas working that evening and they welcomed me with a cheery hello and welcome to Starbucks. That was pretty cool. The gist of my visit was basically to obtain my usual Trenta black tea lemonade, and a brownie or two. I succeeded in this endeavor within 10 minutes from ordering and exiting. The good thing about having no line ahead of you is that your order is always top priority, which is awesome! For the most part though, my Starbucks experience is usually good and this one at this Irvine, California location was also good too. The service was friendly and fast, while giving me a good product fairly quickly while my family was waiting for me on the parking lot. Didn't have the mobile app so I did this transaction old school. Love Starbucks for its drinks and pastries. The overall experience here at this Starbucks location was good and quick, While being friendly too. The Starbucks restaurant was large enough to accommodate a sizable audience of customers on any given day and night. I know I can sit at a Starbucks and drain away the day. That didn't happen at this Starbucks, but just saying if I had the time here. That's what I'd be doing. What I did do was basically only order, pick up, and leave. I enjoyed my time at this Starbucks, even if it was a quick one. The restaurant was quite clean and immaculate. It was close to closing time, so I can imagine they would start cleaning up and that's how it was so clean when 8pm rolled around. They are known for their various coffee brews and lattes and other coffee infused products. I used to drink it but still go to Starbucks but for their teas and pastries. They make them on demand and it's awesome! The only problem with Starbucks is the fact that it can be cost prohibitive, when you can get a large soda at McDonalds for less than $2. I guess people love what they love and spend what they love. With that said, this Starbucks experience is good and happy that they were open past 8pm so I can get in my daily fix. If you're in the area and want a coffee or a tea, consider this Starbucks location in Irvine California. This Starbucks location is located at 6580 Irvine Boulevard in the heart of Irvine, California. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, your best bet would be the parking lot in front of the Starbucks itself. If its crowded, best thing to do is to get local street parking where its available. If public transportation is your thing, consider the routes that are necessary to get here from your starting location. And so, It was great to be here at this Starbucks at the tail end of my Memorial Day weekend trip before heading home the next morning. The experience lasted 10 minutes but it was probably the coolest, since it just felt nice to be at a chill Starbucks with the music going. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the service and the food. 3.0 stars for the prices, but it's Starbucks. 5.0 stars for the ambiance.
