Very disappointed in this one. I always feel that there is a communication failure. My orders are usually wrong and yesterday I'm sure I was over charged. Disappointed. Just threw away a $5 cup of coffee. You would think that Starbucks would be almost consistent wherever you go. Islamorada is an exception. Cup full of steamed milk and sugar with a dash of cinnamon. Driving through the keys as we do often, it was a pleasant surprise to see another location. Staff was awake but couldn't get any slower. It took so long to make the drink once I was outside and tasted I didn't want to go in and deal with explaining and waiting for a new one. I'll pass by next time. Unfortunate. read more

I star is to many for this place. They were rude to the customers and to their coworkers. They are not a corporate store. I live in Oregon 3 hours from headquarters and if you treat a customer like they did 2 days in a row you are a replaceable employee anytime. read more

Im a keywest local & have been to this Starbucks a couple times. Every time it's a terrible experience. First off, I stood at the cash register for about 5 mins while the staff paid no attention or asked if they couple help me. Finally after asking someone for help the women taking my order just stood there picking at her eye an saying "huh" "what" repeatedly. Extremely rude staff. Then the women that was making our food orders wasn't wearing gloves and was EATING. Putting food into her mouth and chomping away while preparing our food, completely disgusting. & when I opened the bag all of the insides of my panini had come out all over the bag. I'm a Starbucks fanatic and one of the reasons I love it is because how friendly staff members are. These people need to fired in my opinion. read more

The worst Starbucks. DONT EVEN. That whole 3:30 pm staff needs to be fired. The rudest bunch of women I've encountered. They all looked like you cursed there mama out or something.They also got my order wrong and gave me my sandwiches frozen. This is a very nice Starbucks pretty clean the employees are very nice always very friendly however when they leave The 4 Haitian girls all handling the counter you can be assured that you wait in line at least 30 minutes to get your order. They are all very sweet but very slow and always seem confused and ask a lot of questions. I believe the problem is understanding English read more

Well, I ordered a coffee Frappuccino with extra shot after blend and with cream. I got one with no cream and shot already blended in. The employee added cream but just said I blended the shot in. That's it. I thought when you didn't get what you ordered, maybe a sorry shall be expected. read more

A lot more training on actual Starbucks standards would go a long way at this location. I am a partner at a different store and this one has a nicely maintained interior and a great Florida Keys exterior, but that's it. It's a licensed store--not company owned, which means employees are trained with the bare minimum Starbucks basics, but service, support and tech perks are not happening. Hugely disappointed in general that rewards can't be used at licensed stores, but it's even worse when it takes a very long time to have our order taken, no smiling, and my husband's salted caramel mocha--though marked properly--was NOT a scm. Not to mention it had sauce all over the cup and lid as it was handed to me. I didn't appreciate the barista yelling my name every two seconds as my drink was ready when I was still at the register being rung up. Look up, people, have some situational awareness. As a partner I would NEVER recommend this store. As a customer, I'd stop here for the bathroom and a touristy picture of the facade--but that's it. read more

I love Starbucks. I go almost every day, so I am very familiar with how the drinks should taste. First of all, my caramel macchiato was almost all milk and caramel. I couldn't even taste the espresso, which I normally can. Second of all, the staff was rude and seemingly irritated with everyone there and made my experience very unpleasant. The cashier seemed miserable, and was very disrespectful as we tried to decide what to get. Then, after we specifically asked for butter with my sisters croissant, they didn't give us any, and when I asked for some the woman looked at me like I was stupid, or like she had never had anyone ask her a question. First I love Starbucks so when I saw that one was open near our resort I was ecstatic my family and I frequently visit islamaroda for vacations day trips etc we are now at the end of this 2 week trip and I have come into this location quite a few times cleanest nicest Starbucks I've ever been to most of the staff are exceptional unfortunately like any other place there's always One Bad Apple to the young lady with the NASTY MOUTH and hair net on(only one I've seen with one on) not only did she make my drink wrong (not once but twice) but then was nasty to me about having to remake it very loud and nasty to customers and other employees EVERYTIME I've been in I can understand one bad day but several over a 2 week period come on need I remind you ,you work in customer service hopefully this will be corrected as a business owner my self you definitely don't want that as your reputation read more

I loved the location but once I stepped in it was horrible, my sister was a few people a head of me and she walked out of line. I stayed in because I really wanted coffee. Cashier was nice to me. I ordered a bagel and a coffee. I got my bagel quickly, but on the other hand with my coffee. That took about 20 minutes to get. People that were behind me got their drinks before I did. Then when my drink was finally said the girl didn't even say a name and my name was written nice and big on it. Who can mess up PAMELA??! So she just handed it to a little boy. I wasn't mad at the little boy but I was not happy with the girl that handed it to him. All of the other workers were calling out names just like you're supposed to at Starbucks.
