Which, is good because this location gets hit from a lot of businesses (there are offices everywhere around it, a hospital, a long term care facility). It takes no time for me to get to the front of the line, order, and peace out. Just what I like because I'm an EXTREMELY busy person during the week and sometimes trying to add in getting coffee can throw off my whole schedule for the day. So, kudos to this location. I really love the location. It's hard to find spots to park at times, but once you do you can stay put and utilize all of the shops and activities they have to offer. A park to run in or shopping at one of the tiniest Publix stores in history. It such a wonderful location and you can have your obsessed Starbucks favorite. This is another great and friendly Starbuck and the baristas know what they are doing. The parking lot is join with Publix and other eateries around it. It can be a beautiful walk across the street to the park and enjoy the river and scenery. Stop by this Starbucks if you have to make a stop at the St Vincent's hospital or any other offices in the neighborhood. read more

Most of my reviews are usually in-depth and thorough, but it's Starbucks. If you like coffee or tea with cake or crumpets then you'll go to town with Starbucks menu. So let's get to it. It's Friday 2pm and here is how I see it: PROS: - staff made a good drink recommendation - coffee cake was fresh - staff was friendly - good is always good - Internet pretty fast CONS: - there was a short line with about a 5 minute wait time. It sounds mean, but 2 people were in front of me and compared to most Starbucks that is super slow. Most times I order and it's up in about 2 mins in a rush hour - that being said they were slightly under staffed. - the floor needed a good sweep. Like seriously! They are usually clean though. - Watched the process in line for 20 mins and I can't get over the slowness... Overall it was just ok. So pre-ordered the new almond milk blonde flat with honey so it would be ready because its pouring rain. Nope, no drink. They were out of almond milk.......but there is a Publix 10 steps away!!!! Let me say this. I love Starbucks. I'm gold status, and frequent locations all over the world. Mobile ordering is my lifesaver in the mornings. However, mobile ordering this week has been AWFUL. The app tells me 3-7 minutes. So I leave my house approx 5 minutes after I order, just to get to this location and wait an additional 15 minutes.. both times to wait for the store to clear out, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of mobile ordering. This morning, I placed my order at 7:55 (coffee and bagel), get to the store at 8:00... I didn't get my coffee until 8:15 and was told bagels were out (despite my seeing at least two people who ordered after me in store get theirs). I'm not sure if something has changed recently with mobile ordering, but it needs to change back to how it was... this current process isn't working. read more

This location is the closest to us, so I'm glad to know it is there. Back when I was smoking, I spent several long days working from the patio... the spots fill up quickly though, only 1 outlet outside for those that work remotely and the tables with the umbrellas can get some pretty intense morning sun. But now that has been banned, but no big deal since I've quit. I'm still not sure I prefer the new layout, but lately we've just ran in to grab something and then run along our little way. Dirty Chai's or Black Eyes are my go to when it's cooler, and anything iced and the berry refreshers are great for hot days. After dinner at River & Post, my love and I took a short walk down to Memorial Park. Came back by Starbucks for some ice water and a cold brew coffee with extra ice. This Starbucks was very clean and our cold brew was made well. They weren't too busy, and the staff was friendly. Starbucks is a place you go where you typically know what to expect, and most Starbucks I've been too have all been about the same. This one is no different. Nothing special or extraordinary... Not the best Starbucks. Service is always slow and below the Starbucks standards. Baristas aren't Starbucks-friendly, and rarely will they ask for your name on the cup. As a former Starbucks barista, this location is severely and consistently lacking in service. The remodel was nice, and I'm glad they added more electrical outlets. The website and sign on the front door say that this location opens at 6am on Sundays. On 12/6/2020 I arrived at about 6:05 to grab breakfast and a coffee before work. Both doors were locked. There were two female employees inside who both looked up at me and then looked away and started laughing. I thought maybe they just forgot to open the doors and that eventually one of them would come open them. No. They continued to chat and laugh occasionally looking over at me. I keep waiting as two other people walk up also confused as to why they are inside looking at all of us and laughing and not coming to let us in and out of the 40 degree weather outside.... 6:20 comes around and I'm now late for work. Realizing they were not going to come open the door I decided to leave. No breakfast or coffee for me... but what really made me angry was that the other two people waiting outside with me had scrubs on and worked at the hospital. I really can't believe that these two employees would treat healthcare workers this way with everything going on right now. So incredibly disrespectful. I can understand having an "off" day once and awhile and having to open a few minutes late but 20-30 min while rudely ignoring your customers and leaving them out in the cold is just plain cruel. read more

One of my favorite Starbucks in the area, it has a lovely covered patio with a lot of seating, shops and restaurants nearby, and us across the street from Memorial Park and a nice view of the St. Johns River. The main downside is that parking can be difficult at peak times, and it is a bit chilly if you sit indoors, so bring a sweater or a light jacket. The drinks are good and Robert, Natalie, Maggie, John S. and Brian are very helpful and courteous - all 5 star employees. Great at their jobs, and I am always happy to see them. If it were warmer indoors and parking wasn't aggravating, this would be a 5 star review. read more

This location is a disease. Starbucks is a disease. You might as well go to Dunkin because they have better beans since they are rainforest alliance certified. I go to Dunkin and I can taste a difference between great coffee and horrible coffee. Starbucks is horrible coffee. As far as Starbucks locations go, this one needs improving. While they have always made my coffee correctly, it never tastes quite right, it's a little too loud, and most of the seating inside is communal. Also, outside seating is next to impossible to find, due to the huge amount of lingerers. Parking? Horrible. They are located in a shopping center with a bunch of other stores, including a Publix, and while there is street parking as well, you might have to circle the block five or six times to find a spot. Most of the employees are nice, but there are a few that are very uppity, and don't give good customer service. read more

Pretty much a standard Starbucks, except you've got all the fascinating people-watching of Five Points/Riverside. The baristas are of the solid Starbucks quality, and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. This starbucks is a go-to ritual for us when we are in Riverside and want to stroll through Memorial Park. It's location and outdoor seating are big draws for us as we love this style of experience. They have everything we're looking for in a starbucks and are adjacent to the park. Not much more to say - other than they don't have a drivethru. Went in for happy hour buy-one-get-one free. Ordered a Grande Cappuccino and noticed one of them had a normal amount of coffee. However, the "free" one was a 1/4 full and the rest was foam. This Starbucks has a large out door seating area which is nice. There are only 2 people working tonight, and at times the line got a little long. The store was clean.
