I'm a regular customer because I have to fly in and out of the island a few times. Overall my drinks are ok and decent, i give it a low rating because of the barista. I've asked my drink remade because I don't do dairy I looked at the sticker and it does say Almond. But when I try to let the barista know she gives a huge sigh and gave me WTF look like it was an inconvenience even tho there was no line and wasn't busy. If you ever get your drinks remade don't ask Princess. she's very rude and needs to be retrained on her customer service or an attitude check. read more

Finishing up a Starbucks challenge... I just needed one more purchase to get 50 Bonus Stars in the 6-day challenge and 35 Bonus Stars for ordering three iced teas. Angel and I had a layover at the Kahului (Maui) Airport (OGG) when she discovered a Starbucks nearby. Located between Gate 16 and 17 in the Rotunda, there was a short line that moved quickly because the gal at the cash register was really efficient! I asked her if this Starbucks location participates in the Personal Cup program (25 Bonus Stars and 10 cents discount)... yes! Okay! As I was leaving, I noticed the Halloween 2023 Glow-in-the-dark Reusable cup set. It would be a great gift to share among my nephew and nieces! I was able to get the set for free by redeeming 400 Stars! Yippee! Thank you for the convenience, great service, and reliability! Starbucks offers that pick me up whenever I need my matcha fix. It's that first sip feeling always puts a smile on my face. Plus this Starbucks pit stop was at the very beginning of my journey. Which also happened to be my very first time out of the country. Starting at the Kahului airport Starbucks, with my first stop in Cali with another pit stop in Rome then arriving at my final destination France. Can you believe that little ol' OGG has three Starbucks inside? That's ridiculous! But, they're all strategically placed. This one is the airport's first, located at the top of the escalators right after TSA screening in the central terminal. It features a small eating area and offers everything a regular Starbucks has sans the retail items. I've had a few drinks from here, including iced coffee and frappuccinos; all of which have been good. SERVICE: They're usually always busy due to their prime location but the line moves pretty quick. TIP: The other two locations are near the higher numbered gates in the east terminal and in the baggage claim area. OVERALL: Great location and efficient service. read more

Service slow, one partner making coffee moving slow the other one stacking three towers of cups. Order via mobile waited 15 minutes before asking about my order so I don't miss my flight a female partner said that mobile orders are not priority even if there's a time of when order is to be ready. I asked her to check for my order and reluctantly she did. Unfortunately, she had said that my order is probably still in the system and wasn't printed yet. Rude staff!!!! Especially the manager!! When asked if paying with card or cash and I said "cash please", her response was "you can't pay with a card?", I said "no, Sorry I would like to use cash." With death stares and nasty looks from the manager and the other employees. Apparently it's a big deal to use cash at a Starbucks in the airport. And As we were done ordering the manager demanded to the other staff to only start accepting credit cards. The managers name was "Monette". As a fellow Barista visiting Maui please remember "Customer Connection". Not one of the baristas were smiling. No friendliness at all. A basic requirement of our jobs. Then the worse part was watching the barista on bar making the 2 Strawberries and Cream frapps I ordered without properly measuring ANYTHING. You are to put the puree in the cup first and then the milk and etc. BASIC training. I watched as she threw all the ingredients in the carafe and blend. Too light in color was my first indication there was a problem. For those ridiculous prices in the franchise airport location I should at least enjoy my drink. BTW when calling out the order at the handoff area SPEAK UP no one can hear you when you whisper and I was standing right there. Again BASIC training. I was embarrassed handing my hubby his frapp as they were both bland and weak from lack of proper measuring of the ingredients and there should have been the puree swirl going up the bottom of the cup when frapp poured in but the puree was never put in the cup straight to the carafe. SHAME on you when a Barista complains. We know the DIFFERENCE. read more

We just went in for an Americano before our flight. When it can out on the counter I requested cream and sugar. The barista seemed annoyed, then she gave me a small coffee cup with a plastic lid with cream in it. What a waste, why couldn't the cream just go in the coffee? So the lid and the cup when strait into the trash. Shame on Starbucks for being so wasteful! Jeez just put the creamer in the coffee. At least the coffee was decent. read more
