The line wasn't too busy compared to the Sheraton coffee shop. To fuel our wait in line for the Hertz, we stopped by this little coffee shop. There was enough seating for those just stopped by. Service was pretty quick despite the morning rush. I was out the door within 5-7 minutes. We got the following: Açaí bowl - 4/5 first time trying it. It was really good! They didn't have the blueberries, but I got extra bananas. Iced Local Latte - 4/5 very honey forward, lightly sweetened refreshing coffee drink. Loved my iced americano. Grabbed this after a long run while I walked back to our hotel. The coffee was great and loved that they sold coffee beans. No one was in there at the time but me so it was quiet which I didn't mind. This is inside a hotel so was surprised no line and not busy. The baristas weren't outgoing or talkative but I'm sure they had a busy morning prior and they were still polite. My espresso shots were tasty and smooth. This coffee place is right in the Hyatt Regency. You can find lattes and the usual coffee drinks, some with a Hawaiian twist. There are also some interesting wooden mugs/cups you can buy. Service was efficient and the atmosphere nice especially if you walk outside and sit in a beach chair. Stoped in here on a Saturday morning while waiting for the regatta to start. Decided on the slow pour pea berry coffee and one of their oatmeal raisin cookies. Was the perfect pairing for a beautiful Saturday morning. They are usually a little busy when the canoe regattas are going on. But they still move the line along quickly. The service is always nice and friendly. I have visited this location several times over the years and the quality has always been good and have always received good service here. Absolutely loved this place for breakfast that's more adult oriented with the most amazing açaí bowls we've ever had. Must try the Hawaiian one with honey and extra bananas delicious. The coffee is the best whether it's hot or iced. My go to drink was the iced almond milk latte with Mac nut and my husband enjoyed his hot Hawaiian latte with Mac nut and coconut island flavors. My family and I were staying at the Hyatt Regency and needed some snacks for our little morning beach stroll and decided to stop by here as they are located near the lobby of the resort. There was a line going out the door but it seem to move pretty quickly. You enter from one door and exit through the other door to allow patrons to social distance. On the menu they had a selection of coffees, grab and go items like yogurt, fruit cups, drinks, and sandwiches. They also had their coffee grounds available for sale. It is a little pricier, but you are at a resort. I decided to get a hot coffee since it was a chilly morning and was pleasantly surprised the coffee was pretty delicious. We also really enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches! They were hot, crispy, and filled our bellies. It was the perfect accompaniment to our walk on the beach. read more

Solid coffee spot. Service was really friendly and quick. The croissant breakfast sandwich was very greasy; don't recommend. However, the muffins especially the blueberry muffin was absolutely one of best I've had. Moist/buttery and soft with lots of blueberries. Will be back for some more. when my family and I had travelled to Maui, we stopped at Honolulu coffee in the morning for a nice wake-me-up drink. The shop itself is pretty large and spacious, with some seating and their own products/coffee available to buy. The service was efficient and we got our items within a pretty short time frame. If you REALLY want coffee then this is not a bad place to go, but just be warned, it is overpriced. about $9 for one coffee. I understand that this coffee is from and roasted in Hawaii, but $9 for one drink is very overpriced. the coffee was not bad, just be aware that you would be paying a pretty penny for just one cup. on the other hand, the açai bowl was probably one of the best bowls I have ever had. the base was not icy, nor was it melted, and it had the perfect sweetness and flavor of açai. the fruit was fresh, the granola was really good too and paired nicely with the honey. this bowl was about $10, but it was HUGE. I believe it is worth its price. My sister and I got one to share and struggled to finish it. if you visit, I definitely recommend the Açai bowl, and while the coffee is good, be aware that you are spending $9 for one drink. read more

While staying at the Hyatt, I needed to find breakfast that wouldn't break the bank yet be filling. I saw that they had acai bowls and couldn't resist giving them a try. Three times in fact! The portions are larger than I found elsewhere, and the flavors were spot on. Their granola is gliten free with no upcharge. You can add other toppings to existing bowls or make your own. I enjoyed the antioxidant bowl that had banana, blueberries, and caoca nips, with honey as an additional add on. read more

Honestly, not sure what the 1-star reviews are hammering so hard on. Most are very old and seems like new staff is all over it. We've been at the Hyatt for 6 days now, I've waited in a short (10min maybe) line each morning for an iced green tea and my wife's skinny vanilla latte. The staff has been friendly and smiling each morning. They are fast and the quality of the drinks is good. My iced green tea is fresh tasting and ice cold - duh! The skinny vanilla latte with no sugar is on par with bigger chain coffee shops but much more convenient since it's at the resort. They also have a variety of fresh juices (guava and orange typically) but in limited supply so get there early. There are several food options from açaí bowls to fresh fruit, baked goods, and even cookies. My son loved the choc chip cookie (for breakfast - hey, don't judge, we're on vacation!) Only knock is the wait time. Since it's a small location the line can backup but I don't think o waited longer than 10 to order and only about 5-10 to receive my order. Not terrible but could be faster with more help (not sure they could fit more employed behind the counter though, I think I've seen no less than 5-6 folks working their butts off to serve the line). read more

They also had papaya with lime as a healthy breakfast option which I always like, and the blueberry muffin was solid. Friendly quick service even with a couple of people in line in front of us. Definitely a nice alternative to a full breakfast if you're staying in the Ka'anapali complex. read more

3.5 stars This was a pricey coffee shop, but it's convenient since it's open early and on the Hyatt grounds. Expect to spend at least $6 for a latte, croissant, or fruit. I would have preferred if the items were all at least $2 less, but the price point is expected for a Maui resort. I enjoyed the Iced Hawaiian Latte (4 stars) because you can really taste the macadamia nut and coconut flavors that were surprisingly not too sweet. The Iced Mocha Latte (3.5 stars) is a also a good choice too. For a $12.50 Acai Bowl (3 stars), I wish there were other toppings besides just banana and granola. My husband ordered the waffle (3 stars) and liked it. The Chocolate Croissant (4 stars) was delicious. It wasn't a traditional pain au chocolat, but I liked that it was soft and filled with lots of chocolate. Service was 4 stars because the wait isn't too long. It does get busy here since there aren't any other on the go breakfast options at the Hyatt. We came here three times during our stay for a light breakfast and an afternoon pick me up. read more

I was impressed by the two lattes I had here- it's little expensive, but that's to be expected given the location. The Hayatt also has a great place to drink it, at tables by the penguins and greenery in the courtyard... pretty idyllic. There was someone being trained when I was there, and while it was a little cumbersome, the manager was right there to smooth it out. I recommend for sure. read more

She got our bowl and coffee very fast. FOOD Acai Bowl - I love acai bowls back at home but they are not $11. It was expected though since we were ordering from an establishment inside the hotel and we are in Hawaii. This was a pretty large sized bowl. I know it was not freshly made right when we ordered it because she didn't use any blenders. I'm not sure if it was premade in the morning or a few days before but it tasted fine. It had the more hard frozen texture but I didn't mind it because I don't like watery acai bowls. She topped our bowl with honey, banana, and granola. Tasted good! Macadamia Nut Coffee - I am not a coffee snob but this tasted good to me. My husband loved it and he enjoys his coffee. Very disappointed to say the least. I have been coming here since the shop opened and the customer service, quality, and tastefulness is absolutely horrible. I had ordered an iced cappuccino which she refused to make. After talking she was going to make an iced latte modified. I ended up spending $35 and leaving a $8 tip! The drink was not good so I went back in line to see if she could remake it. When I got up to the cash register I explained that the coffee didn't taste well and all I wanted was a cappuccino with a cup of ice. She told me I should just go to Starbucks. I replied with I don't want to go to Starbucks I just will have a cappuccino with a side of ice, she continued to make side comments which I ignored. She rang it up and proceeded to tell me my cappuccino was $9! I was stunned and said why am I being charged for another drink it's clear that I didn't drink this one! She started trying to argue, tapping her iPad, went over to her coworkers, then came back and very loudly said " JUST GO OVER THERE" . They called my drink out, iced cappuccino, but with no ice. I am usually not one to leave bad reviews however I will never be giving this company my service again. All over a $5 drink. read more
