Starbucks is where my coffee journey started back when I had my first job. Gone are the days of venti iced black coffees or the occasional caramel macchiato / white chocolate mocha for indulgent runs. These days, my go-to is the venti iced brown sugar shaken espresso. If James Bond were a Starbucks regular, I'd like to think this would be his drink. Smooth, slightly sweet, and gets straight to the point. And then, because I felt like pushing it a bit, I added a few extra shots. Definitely felt it. Also grabbed a slice of banana loaf (banana bread, let's be honest). Surprisingly solid. Not overly sweet, no artificial banana flavor--just a subtle, natural sweetness that paired really well with the espresso. Overall: 4/5 It is a bit pricey. I do wish Starbucks made their sugar-free options more obvious on the menu. I know they exist, but I'm not trying to decode the menu every time. Places like 7 Brew make that much easier with clear SF labels. This particular location is one I usually prefer. They're efficient--even when the drive-thru line is long--and the staff is consistently friendly. Only downside is limited seating, and the layout can get chaotic during peak hours with Chipotle, Taco Bell, CVS, and other spots all packed into the same area. read more

I go to this Starbucks quite often and they always make sure my drink is perfect! I get the pink drink with light ice and a double smoked bacon breakfast sandwich. The workers are always friendly and write me a cute note on my cup! If you haven't had the pink drink, it is very good and refreshing! read more

I have been to this Starbucks many times to study over the past couple years. Today i just went through the drive thru to redeem my free 200 stars drink. The guy taking my order was helpful and answered all my questions while being super friendly. As soon as i pulled up to the window, my food was ready too! Super fast! The last time i went into the store to study and get coffee, the guy working was beyond friendly!! He asked me what I was studying and checked on me occasionally to see if I needed anything. After hours of being there, I finally got up to leave and he made conversation saying " Your leaving?? I was getting worried about you! ". Extremely kind and it's refreshing to have customer service workers make conversation that goes beyond "how are you". I would highly recommend this Starbucks! read more

Twice we have stopped in the drivethru only to sit and then find they are closed. This last time they said reduced hours but was closed 2 hours before posted time. If closed put up a sign or turn your drivethru sign off. read more

I ordered a water with strawberry inclusion which should cost less than $1 and when I pulled up to the drive through window I was told that the manager had forced the employee to charge me for a "custom tea" which was over $4. She was so rude that as a customer I shouldn't hear or see her frustration about everyone still taking orders at 6:50 pm. I ordered a Venti Caramel Frappuccino but when they gave it to me it was a Grande. She was getting smart with me saying Grande is a Medium and not a large. I said maam I ordered a Venti. She then proceeded and hell to her other coworkers just make her a Venti I don't have time for this. She was extremely rude about it. A group of us went to Starbucks in Kansas City. Pro: We enjoyed sitting on the nice patio. It is set apart like a peninsula with tables and chairs. There's a little fence around it so it is contained nicely. It was a nice place to sit and chat. Once ordered drinks came out quickly. Con: People behind the counter were all business and not remotely friendly. Not even a smile. This is the first Starbucks that I've been into that hasn't had the overwhelming smell of burnt coffee lurking in every corner. This Starbucks smelled like flowers. Flowers? Yes. There's a large, wooden table, a couch, and other various tables to gravitate towards for some studying or socializing. The baristas were VERY proficient and professional in what they said to the customers. They reminded me of robots. But hey, robots get the job done... Just don't expect laughing or small talk. They are clean, comfortable, and speedy. This warrants 5 stars from me. read more

Driving by, visiting from CA. Greeted by a super friendly dude named Nick. And after drinking my regular drink I'm pissed he can't be my barista always. He made the perfect half caf cappuccino with almond milk. Seriously it was the smoothest I've ever experienced at a Starbucks and he even steamed the almond milk to perfection! I'm now giving starbucks ratings a two unless they can make it as best as Nick. Nick you're the man! read more

The staff is extremely dedicated and ready to help, I had the idea of adding a Red Bull to a refresher, they had no Red Bulls but listed the other energy drinks available, and helped me choose a good refresher. The barista had also let me know that if I wanted there's a QT right across the street that sells Red Bulls. So here I am drinking a dragon fruit refresher made with lemonade, but of course I had to get the dragon fruit Red Bull to put it all together, and it's amazing! I like this Starbucks. Some of the employees know my name when I come in, and one even makes my drink the second I enter the store. They make my drink quickly, and everything is clean. Lots of seating, I've never had to wait for a table. read more

I consider myself somewhat of a coffee snob, but have a confession: sometimes the convenience of this Starbucks location far outweighs my coffee snobbery. Here's a bonus confession for you, just for fun: sometimes I drink iced coffee from McDonalds - yikes! Now that I got that out of my system, lets move on to the rest of the review. There are certain times when I want to read a book or do some work and this Starbucks is the first place the pops into my head. Cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff make this my go to coffee shop when I don't feel like driving to the Brookside Roasterie. I don't think I'm ever fully satisfied with the way that my drink is made (anyone else disappointed that Starbucks baristas just push a button on a machine now, instead of learning how to pull shots?) but will suffer through that in order to enjoy a good book in a good atmosphere. Indoor seating at this location is pretty limited, so you may find yourself without somewhere to go if you come during a busy time. read more

Up to the last two Saturdays I would have given this SBUX a higher rating. Last Saturday, they were supposed to open at 5:30 and didn't open till 5:50. A number of people came and went and the people in the store didn't seem to notice, nor did there appear to be any sense of urgency. This weekend they were open on time but not ready. I ordered a sandwich which they told me they were out. When I asked why it was in the display case (which was mostly empty), the answer was that they were all still frozen. Not a great way to run a customer service business. I don't see this happening in other SBUX in the area. read more

The baristas are nice and good at their job, AND unlike some other Sbux locations, if you ask them for something special, they just do it instead of getting a bitchy attitude! I'm always in and out quickly and my drink is always delicious. I'm so glad I started coming to this starbucks. I have been a faithful Starbucks customer for a while and have probably visited at least 50 location, with that said this is the absolutely the worst one I have been to. I went there about a year ago and received a cup of coffee that was the consistency of swill. It was super thick and I didn't sleep the whole night! I didn't return to this location for about a year and when I did I ordered my favorite Misto. My drink tasted fine, it was served hot and the lady at the drive through seemed nice enough, but 15 min. after drinking it I got very ill. This might be the worst run Starbucks I've ever been to. It takes no less than 15 minutes to go through the drive-through, longer inside, and the staff is completely rude! This store never has stoppers or carriers. I ordered 4 drinks and requested a carrier, the worker scowled at me, said they were out and then retrieved a gallon box, ripped out the bladder and told me I could deal with it myself. I know it is early in the am, but the ladies at this Starbucks put quite the damper on my friends WEDDING day. One of the bridesmaids politely asked Jessica to write "bride" on the brides cup, and she acknowledged it rudely but still didn't write it. Fellow bridesmaid asked for a marker to write bride on her cup, and the employee asked her co worked in a "I'm so annoyed" way and didn't give us one. The service was slow and the employees were rude. Other friends that live around there have stopped going because of how slow and unfriendly they are.
