So then eventually, we did go back and she was rude that time, but not only to me but pretty much everyone that walked up there. She was the only worker so I don't know if she felt overwhelmed, even though there wasn't a ton of people coming up there or if that was her regular attitude. But barista's make up a good portion of whether people enjoy a space. The table and chairs were contemporary basic and for some reason in that particular coffee shop I felt like everyone was on view and really didn't seem like you had privacy. So we chose to take our coffee into the Knies library area against a large window that overlooked prairie, grasses, and wildflowers and enjoyed it there. So I would say a five star for the coffee, but it's getting a three star for the barista, the two times that I interacted with her and the seating.

The donuts were soft and very tasty. The tea was decent, but I was shocked that top 20% of my cup was empty just because I said no ice. The family's original sister restaurant in Argentina dates back to 1987, and the food absolutely feels rooted in tradition and authenticity. This was actually my first experience trying Argentinian food. From the Milanesas section of the menu, I ordered the Napolitana, topped with tomato sauce, ham, and cheese. I later learned it's supposedly soccer legend Lionel Messi's favorite dish. To me, it reminded me a bit of a deep-fried German schnitzel, in the best possible way. It came with delicious fries that disappeared quickly. My wife absolutely loved the freshly made empanadas. One detail we thought was clever: each empanada is stamped with a number identifying the filling, which makes ordering and sharing much easier. The surprise star of the meal was the Rogel cake for dessert. Thin, flaky layers packed with dulce de leche and topped with toasted meringue/ rich, crunchy, sweet and absolutely unforgettable Another fun surprise was the robot that delivers the food from the kitchen before the server brings it to your table.
