How hard is it to do your job? I had my phone out to scan for points but pay with my card. Unless the worker had vision impairment she blatantly ignored scanning my phone, had me pay, looked at the screen to see if I tipped and then when I asked to have my phone scanned for points said "oh you would've needed to have that done before paying....sorry". I DID have my phone out. This is why I bought a breville and these days mainly make my coffee at home but I wanted something different today. Not only does the service suck, employees can't bother to do their job correctly and YET expect a tip. Glad I've gotten comfortable hitting NO TIP. The service I receive should not depend on whether I tip or not. MY tip should depend on the service I receive. I worked at Starbucks from 2000-2008 when Starbucks was Starbucks and customer service, knowing your customers name and creating a third space was important. Do better. They really need to get their act together. Constantly slow causing the line to back up. They have no sense of working in a fast pace environment. Orders are always wrong. The list keeps going. I hardly ever get sbux anymore, but after the last two interactions I've had at this location, I think I'm good elsewhere. I have a very prominent, diagnosed anxiety disorder, so I prefer to place my orders on mobile so I don't have to stress about asking for alterations on my items. It really helps me feel good about drive thrus and interactions that are otherwise difficult for me. I put in an order today (selected drive thru) and the mobile app told me it'd be ready in 3-6 min. I showed up a little early since I was already close by and at first I thought it was okay since the girl on the speaker said they were working on it and to pull forward. She then proceeds to tell me at the window that I need to give mobile orders 10-12min to populate in their system and that they're prioritizing cafe and drive thru, not mobile. So I need to wait going forward. But they didn't need 10 min for my order to populate, considering it was ready right after she said that? And the app told me 3-6 min. I don't want to let my ice start melting by waiting however long. I was also the only person in the drive thru. This comes after my previous time putting in a mobile order only for the girl to tell me in the future I need to come inside to pick them up--despite the app having a selection for whether you're picking up inside or not. So anyways!! Thank you for managing to make my system for anxiety at your business ineffective. I will no longer be coming to this location. And to the barista with the green hair, you didn't have to say any of that. You don't know why people are using the mobile ordering system versus speaking out loud. Instead of assuming anything weird about why I chose to input it that way, try just not caring! I didn't mind a little wait at the window since I showed up a minute or two early. But acting like I was a nuisance for using the app when I do it to make things easier for my mental health was not cool. read more

I was thirsty for a nice cold ice tea and decided to come back and try this Starbucks again since I was in the area. I hit the drive thru and ordered up the largest iced green tea which was the 30 ounce "Trenta" size. There was only one person in front of me so when I got to the window I paid via the app and when the woman handed me my iced tea I thought it looked ice heavy but there were others behind me so I decided to pull around to the parking lot. Sure enough it only took a few sips to drain this size tea of liquid and realize it was filled 3/4 full of ice. Now this green ice tea cost $4.25. And the last time I checked ice didn't cost that much. So I went through the drive-through and pulled up to the window and show the woman the ice and asked for a refill. She tried to say that that was a normal amount if ice they put in but I know better. She then tried to charge me $.50 for a refill but after a short chat she decided to give me a refill with light ice for free. Wow... I get raising prices but tea costs next to nothing to make and NO the other Starbucks I have been to do not put that much ice in it. read more

With this being a Starbucks you pretty much know what you are going to get in terms of the quality of the beverage and food; nothing special but nothing terrible either. There's definitely worse in the area but also better spots (Ava as an example). The challenge with this location is that they for some reason regularly get an order wrong. Nothing to put you off coming back but it can be frustrating especially if you order a drink with no coffee for a child and it comes with coffee. read more

My favorite starbucks in the area, by far. Service is efficient and friendly, I have been coming for years and I have yet to have a bad experience. Interior is nice for doing computer work, they have many tables and couches. Today when I came in it was obvious they were very short staffed, but I received the same excellent care as always, and it didn't feel rushed at all. Really love this location. read more

I've been drinking Starbucks in moderate quantities for years and find it ok but consistent in a positive way. But I just realized that the last 3 times I ordered from this location, the drinks tasted: 1. Scorched (burnt beans, more than usual) 2. Scorched 3. Watered down to the point where I wonder if there's any espresso in this So I guess I will stop going to this one, which is a bummer because it's very nearby. The baristas are all very friendly. This Starbucks is hands down the best location in the world. I have been to many Starbucks destinations and none of them compare to the level of service this location provides. There are always at least 5 employees working, they get orders in super fast, and they even know my name, yet I don't go in often. I went in today, on Xmas morning at 8 am and there was no customers in sight, but at least 10 employees in a great spirit and mood, and my 5 coffees were of course waiting. Customer service is lack luster. Echo rushed us multiple times while trying to decide what we wanted, even though we asked for more time. There wasn't anyone ahead of or behind us. At the window it took almost 5 minutes to greet us. Then she was impolite at the window as well. Also gave me a grande straw for my venti drink (which was made incorrectly). Won't be back. read more

Always been my fave in the area. They never get my orders wrong, most employees are super friendly, and it's always quick going through the drive thru, even with a line! I have been impressed with their customer service since I have lived in LO, but especially during the pandemic when I have witnessed some not so nice customers interact with them. Starbucks staff in general are always really sweet and exceptionally professional. But this Starbucks is just exceptional--the staff are always joking with each other and even with the customers. Due to my inattention on the Starbucks app, I ordered from the wrong Starbucks. When I got here and came in, they told me they didn't have my order come through yet. I looked it up on my app and showed it to them. That's when they explained to me that I ordered it at one down the street. They asked if I knew where it was located and when I told them I didn't, they immediately said they would make my drinks for me here. Outstanding service. Only drawback was that the music was quite loud inside and it made it kind of hard to hear them when they were talking to me. read more

They are very friendly and efficient, but unfortunately they still managed to get my order wrong. Hoped it was a miscommunication so when I drove through again to explain they were prompt to make a new one thankfully. The sitting area is nice with diverse options to sit at, and a plethora of natural lighting with big windows. The parking is very tight and difficult to maneuver in especially when the drive through is backed up or the filled orders are trying to leave through the parking lot. I met a friend for coffee, she left before I did, so I followed shortly after only to find my car battery had died. This had never happened, so of course I didn't have jumper cables, nor do I have Triple A. So I went back into Starbucks to see if anyone was able to help. The manager, Chris McCann, graciously grabbed some jumper cables and stood out in the rain helping to get my car started. This location cannot make vanilla sweet cream cold brews. Every single time I order it here, it's disgusting. They either forget to put the vanilla syrup in, or put such little cream that my drink looks nearly black. I can tell immediately by the color if it's going to be good or not. The location on State in Lake Oswego makes this drink PERFECTLY 100% of the time. I know they have a lot to do and a lot of drinks to make, but putting 3 items (cold brew, syrup, cream) in a predetermined ratio should not be this difficult. read more

Great place to work. This Starbucks isn't too crowded in comparison to others as long as your inside. They have great lounge chairs and couches and a quiet crowd, plus plenty of plugs for laptop power. Much better than the cramped Starbucks I'm used to working at in CA. Or the one down the street with limited tables. The only issue is the drive through line of cars in the morning makes slows traffic and It takes a little extra time to park. read more

I went to this Starbucks almost every day for two years, but today's my last visit. It does have friendly staff, and has a nice compliment of comfy leather chairs, but that's about all the positives I can think of. On the negatives side, the espresso drinks are weak, thin, lack a foam, and syrupy sweet. (Peet's are SO much better.) They get my order wrong about 30% of the time. The place is dirty; it doesn't look like they've vacuumed the carpet much less steam cleaned it in months. The WiFi is horribly slow. Parking is a pain. Frequently cold and drafty. Bathrooms often need work. Boxes of new merchandise frequently cram the space. Chairs are in need of repair or replacement. Leather chair edges are jammed full of crumbs. Music is often off or annoying. Enough. It's OVER, Starbucks. read more

Hello super-Starbucks! Drive-through outside (never tried it), comparable parking to other nearby Starubcks, but way more space inside. They even have a seating area with a bunch of leather couches, an area on one side with board games, including kid-friendly ones and small chairs to consider little people. Service has been spectacular from the first time I stepped in. Compared to previous reviews, I find the service equivalent or exceeding other Starbucks. It does seem popular during the daytime (not surprised), but pretty quiet when I go to study in the evening. I like pretty much all Starbucks, with one exception in the area (over next to New Seasons, meh, you can read that review) and it's hard to go wrong. You 99% of the time get that favorite drink that is reliable and predictable and a wonderful start to your day or companion to your work/study. This one fits the Starbucks mould, but it's hard to find anything missing (i.e. too little parking, too little space inside, poor service, etc). I think most people would be satisfied. Maybe drive-through is different, but I don't use it, so look to other reviews for that. In the wintertime, I would make sure you're dressed warmly. It can get a little chilly inside if you're sitting next to the windows. When the sun shines, a lot of natural light comes in, which is always nice in any building. I drive a bit farther from my house to reach this Starbucks when there are a handful of others that are closer. The ambiance makes such a difference in my studying! Really content with my tea and cocoa here! ;) p.s. I just saw their signs for Coffee Tasting Tuesday 8am-9am and Wine Tasting Thursday 5-6pm. Whaaa-- seriously, super-Starbucks! I can't make either of those, but just reading the signs makes me happy. No idea if it's a one-time thing or weekly. read more

Great sandwiches and drinks, awesome customer service! I use the drive-thru always, I have never been inside the shop. The Drive-thru Baristas are energetic, friendly, and courteous! My order includes a peach flavored lemonade in the summer, hot chocolate in the winter accompanied with the Chicken BLT Salad sandwich and a slice of the lemon loaf. I love this location in Lake O, better than any other! read more

I mean, it's a Starbucks, there's not much special about it. It does constantly have a long line in the drive through and no good space to accomodate that, but inside its never super busy. They did give me a free cookie because it broke and they cannot sell broken cookies. Free cookies are always a plus. read more

I'm pleased to report they have improved things over the last month or so. They still have a long ways to go to bring it back up to where it was, but I certainly see they are trying very hard and that counts for a lot. Speed is better, but I would encourage some of the staff to kick it up when the line gets longer versus continuing to run in one gear all the time. Service is friendlier, but I would encourage the entire staff to try and remember the regulars versus just a few of the more seasoned baristas. Keep up the good work! read more

Words can't even describe how disappointed I am at the Starbucks and the manager I spoke with today. Here I am on my lunch break sitting in the drive through line of my local Starbucks when one lady in the Mercedes does not pull forward to order but instead waves one of her friends to pull in front of her and cut in line. I quickly dial the phone number to the store so I could notify them to what was happening to be sure that they did not get served in all fairness to the cheated customers. When it was brought to the managers attention that somebody had let a lady cut into line in the drive-through, they both were served coffee even though I requested that that customer not be served in all fairness to everybody else who had waited there turn in line. The manager refused and said that there was nothing they could do about it and that people cut in line all the time. To make matters even worse one of the customers that I had complained about got out of their vehicle and started a confrontation with me at the window. I told the crazy lady to leave several times and the manager was no help at all as she felt the crazy customer was there to help the situation. Maybe I would've been better off leaving the store manager out of it and handling the confrontation myself as it seems the business but rather customers handle their own problems. I guess the next time you go to this horrible coffee shop to get your coffee you just walk right up to the register and skip everybody in line and they won't care at all. They will just serve you with a smile and say thank you come again. I know a few stores that would gladly not serve cheating customers and send them to the back of the line rather than piss off everybody in line. For this horrible experience today I am here on out boycotting Starbucks and heading up a campaign to get people to join me all over the country. you had plenty of time to make it right by me and everybody else in line and you chose to let me down and every other customer in the drive-through m. I honestly had not gone to Starbucks in some time, and had completely forgotten the name of the drink that I sampled the other day. The staff here was super helpful with working with me to find the right drink. I was being helped by one of their new green beans, and though she was just learning the ropes at the register she made sure that my experience there was smooth and enjoyable. Super friendly and always helpful staff here. I love the drive thru option for when I'm feeling uber lazy, which is often in the morning. I was just there the other day and as I pulled up to the window, the woman said the customer in front of me paid for my order! How cool is that? I paid it forward and paid for the customer behind me. I live close by and used to be a customer, but will never visit this business again. They decided rather than inconvenience their normal business hours with construction to do it at night inconveniencing everyone in the surrounding area with loud construction work. They did not even having the required noise variance permits according to the local police. Not a good neighbor. Manager was less than sympathetic and actually rude when I called just to let them know they kept their neighbors up all night with their construction crew and concrete vacuum truck. read more

I don't write a lot of online reviews, but was bothered by my visit here. I live in Washington and was down in LO. I stopped at this Starbucks location to pick up pre-ordered travelers of coffee to take to a birthday party. Not only was everything chaotic, but they made the drink I ordered wrong twice (I finally just took it on their second try because I had to leave). The gentleman taking my order looked like a deer in headlights. It was just an annoying experience overall. read more
