This was my Starbucks but I accidentally used the wrong pronoun for one of the employees and got lectured about how I needed to respect that individuals gender choice! I knew the employee as their own gender for several months before they began to transition to the opposite sex. It was an honest mistake but two of the employees jumped on my case about my one word!! It was very uncomfortable being reprimanded in front of other customers. I have not returned! I'm sure I would be looked down on! Contacted Corporate and got no where. Barely a mild apology. I won't support this uncaring company!!! read more

Came here on a weekend to do some work and really enjoyed it. Spacious, friendly staff, ample parking, plenty of seating, and clean. I also enjoyed my coffee, which kept me caffeinated for hours. I'll be back. read more

This is my local Starbucks and a favorite of mine and my family's. Convenient place to grab hot/cold drinks and yummy food. They have spacious indoor seating for those meetups or working alone, limited outdoor seating for those sunny Portland days and curbside pick up when you're short on time. Oh, and parking is spacious, too. I think it's worthwhile mentioning that this Starbucks is in a great location. It's close to Beaverton, Tigard and SW Portland and has great shopping options in the same center. A win - win all around. I think. read more

While I don't come here often because it's not in my way to and from anything, now that there is a Trader Joe's in this same strip mall, I may be here more frequently! The employees are always friendly and today Jack went the extra mile when he made our dog his puppacino, he said "I'm always happy to make a dog happy." Nice as a dog owner, and animal person thanks. This is my "home" Starbucks and it is hands down my favorite! My drink of choice is a short caramel macchiatto with a long-shot, extra caramel and extra hot. The baristas at Garden Home ALWAYS nail it. Every. Single. Time. Th staff is friendly, the manager, Graham, is excellent, always helpful and takes time to connect with the locals. It is more like being at home with guests then being in a cafe. Can't go wrong here. read more

Your typical Starbucks venue. Open nice and early, at 5am. It has seating both indoors and outside, but it gets a little cramped toward the area where you pick up your drink. They also have the cream & sugar station on the opposite side of the store from where you pick up your legal cocaine, which is a little irksome. Beyond that, it's clean and the staff have been nothing but hilarious and awesome from my several experiences thus far. As per usual, if you show up during a rush hour, don't expect to wait in a 30 second line. It always baffles me when people arrive at 8am and go "WTF THE LINE IS OUT THE DOOR OMG WHAT IS THIS." I don't usually rate corporate chains but in the case of this one I am in love with the staff. They are friendly and so helpful as this is always a stop on my way out to a friends working on renovating his home. So I'm making orders for folks and don't have any idea what I'm really ordering :P They are patient and all smiles. Quick to whip up everything no matter if there's a long line or not. Their staff is so kind and helpful. I frequent the place. It would be awesome if they had more treats for the lactose sensitive but a nice Starbucks drink shall suffice. Great people here although it does get a bit crowded out front, forcing passersby's to squeeze through but other than that, I don't have many complaints. read more

Same menu as other Starbucks in the area. However, what separates this location from the Starbucks just merely a few miles away on Capitol HWY is the service. The staff is absolutely friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I recently found I have a slight lactose intolerance and am not used to ordering soy... I forgot after I was done and out of line. Luckily, they were so kind enough to change my order then and there with no hesitation - fantastic! I do suggest to avoid 730-8am if you're in a rush, the line nearly goes out the door! However, it is a good location to avoid the avid high schoolers from Wilson at the Capitol HWY location. read more

So, this Starbucks is located across from my office building. I have pretty much gone there 3-4 times a week for 6 years. I have seen a lot of people come and go, but over all everyone has been great. They get to know you by name, and they have your coffee ready by the time you get up to pay. Just walked out of here. Ordered one drink and an iced water. All I had was my credit card with the damn chip. I don't know the pin for. The guy working up front basically just stood there staring saying there's nothing he can do. He had no other option in how to run my card. Just said sorry that's all I know. I love Starbucks, but not this location. I went in and asked for a Pumpkin Spice 'Chai' Latté. As the Barista was making the drink I asked her "You are making a Chai Latte, right?" She replied yes. As I got home and started to drink my drink turns out to be a Pumpkin Spice Latté and not a Chai. Plus the milk was not foamed to my expectation to be required a 'Latté'. read more

Not only do they serve the best Peppermint Mocha around, they also are fast and friendly. I am a teacher at a school in the neighborhood and needed lids for a project. I spent a week looking at various stores with no luck. I had multiple grocery stores deny me even when I offered money to purchase their deli lids (I was desperate!) A friend said,"Ask Starbucks". This Starbucks Location could be so fantastic... and sometimes they hit the mark. Unfortunately, mobile orders do not fit into these occasions. I would say at least three quarters of the mobile orders I have had here have been made incorrectly, or have taken forever to be made, regardless of the level of business at the time. Often, when going in to pick up a mobile order, it is impossible to gain the attention of a barista to pick up a drink as they rush past the counter numerous times. I would understand this being an occasional problem, but sometimes it seems as though they are going out of their way to ignore those waiting for or picking up orders. Sometimes, if schedule allows, I will go to another Starbucks location within driving distance just to avoid dealing with the attitude of the staff here. I just wish this wasn't something I felt I needed to do. There is a new coffee shop going in across the intersection, maybe they will fare better. read more

Big time Starbucks customer so I know what all the drinks are supposed to taste like. Not like most of the ones I have gotten here. This location would be so convenient for me, but between the rudeness of a few of the baristas and the wildly varying quality of the espresso drinks, it is worth driving a few miles literally in any direction to get my fix and support a top notch company. The turnover at this location has been high for some time now so I pop in every once in awhile to see if a better staff has taken over. Good people don't seem to stick around here. Can't say this is your typical SB location. The staff is courteous and get to know their customers. They joke and laugh with Each other and customers. The reason it's cramped and busy is precisely because of that. People want to go there. I drive there from Tigard to my job in Hillsboro because of them. Well done to these folks.
