This store is frustrating. After today, I may not go back. First, this is the ONLY Starbucks I have found that refuses to ring items up separately. If you have a Starbucks card, the goal is to get as many stars as possible (stars = free items). Every other store I have gone to will ring your items up separately -- and they do it with a smile! My frustration today was because they clearly don't listen when you order. Four times now they have gotten my order incorrect. I DON'T WANT MY COFFEE SWEETENED!!! LISTEN PEOPLE -- If we say no sweetener -- MARK THE CUP. Most of the time I don't catch it until I'm too far away to go back and I have to toss it! I have been going to this Starbucks for about three years and order the same drinks every time. Lindsey and Stephanie made my drink wrong so I explained how to properly make it and they both gave me attitude saying its always wrong. Im the customer and it states if not made to your satisfaction we will make it again. Amanda was one of the best baristas they had and now that she is gone I will not be returning. I spend $20 a day there for me and my daughter and will not return due to the baristas listed above. I will find another one to go to. Worst customer service I have ever had!!! read more

This starbucks is a hit or miss establishment. I go here often but the last month or so it seems like new younger rude kids are working there. For example when they messed up my drink order I was rudely told that,"well , we'll fix it this time.!" Which came with a free EYE ROLL. I order the same thing, venti hot white mocha every Starbucks everytime. Only when I order from here, it tastes different every time. Last week, I got a Venti Mocha, which I hate and tossed so that was a wasted 5 bucks, I didn't have time to let them have another shot at getting it correct. The drive thru is terribly inconvenient as well, if there are more than 2 people ahead of you then your car will be obstructing traffic. This starbucks is local to me and my family and we are constant customers. However, it's seems some of the baristas have selective hearing when it comes to taking orders or even selective memories or perhaps eye sight and maybe all mentioned discrepancies when it comes to their costumers orders as they seem to constantly mess up orders. Or perhaps it's the translation those abbreviated orders when writing those orders in the cup as they pass it to the the barista making it? Today, Jasym took my order and I asked to take it off my reward and when I looked at my phone it said that I paid for it. And when mentioned to her she shrugged and said that she didn't hear it. Sorry but I was right in front of you and it was the 1st thing U mentioned? Selective hearing in effect? No apologies given and she quickly turned around as if no care for customer service is in effect. Note to Starbucks please please put someone in the front line with better customer attitude for a much better attitude towards customers when representing your products as well as your company and this goes all throughout your shops and not just this particular location as it seems to happen quite often. read more

Who doesn't love Starbucks, right! I absolutely love this location. The lines use to move slow but there must have been some management change because the lines are faster. The staff is friendly and polite. I love going thru drive thru for the convenience but love the atmosphere of going inside at this location. I loved the event coffee with a cop. What a way to build outreach with our community and my children loved it!!! The change at this location over the past few months is amazing! So happy to see a wonderful turn around!! read more

Worst Starbucks set up ever. If your coming down woodside heading north all the cars going south cut u off and won't let u drive through the drive thru. And brilliant Starbucks closed the opening from the other side. So unless u happen to be headed north sorry u can't go though this drive thru because the world if full of the most cruelest people who will gladly cut u in line acting as if they can't see you. read more

I waited about ten minutes to get my coffee which was ok but...when I got it at the walk up it was only three quarters full so I asked the girl would she please fill this up more...she grabbed the cup and made some remark under her breath...they seem to know how to talk to each other I just wish they would do their job..for over 3 bucks I expect a full cup of coffee I did not ask room for cream...I don't need the attitude...going to another place for coffee I know I will be missed hahah. read more

This place has aweful customer service. I went in there the other day and wow. When they are busy they don't yell out the drinks to let the right person know their drink is done, they just toss the pastries on to the pick area with out saying anything so then there's a bunch of ppl standing around wondering if that's the order or not.. I ordered a venti chestnut praline Frappuccino like always, so my order comes up n of course the girl is talking super quietly, so I ask her what the drink was n she says "oh that's your carmel frappuccino." So I tell her its supposed to be the chestnut praline so she apologized n said that's what she mentioned, I try it and nope not the rigjt drink, she apologize again n said she would make it over. She takes the drink back, scrapes the whip cream off n smells my drink, um werid, then has one of the other employees smell my drink! Then if that's not enough they pour some of the drink into a cup n taste some of it, they both look at each other n so oh its the chestnut praline frappuccino, so the girl takes my drink back n puts whip cream on it n hands it back...like really? I'm sorry i don't want your nose in my drink n then have u hand me back a drink thats less the amount I paid for because u don't want to fix ur mistake. I'm not sure what has happen at this Starbucks, but something has changed in the past year. I placed a mobile order yesterday before I got there and I was prepared to wait for my coffee's because every time we order a mobile order we have to wait. When I walked in I saw all my cups sitting out waiting to be made (I knew they were mine because I order 2 kids, one tall and one grande and they are all sitting together) I waited 10 minutes, while everyone in the line inside was getting there drinks. I asked about my coffee's and all she said is they were working on them. So I waited another 8 minutes before I got my coffee's, by this point everyone who came in after us had received there order and was gone. I nice man came in, placed his order sat down and then they called him for his coffee. He looked at me and said "I feel guilty getting my order before you since you have been waiting" at this point no one was in line or waiting but me!! To top it off I had to ask for my my 4-cake pop's and the chocolate milk. They turned to the girl and asked her about my food and she handed them to her (I'm not sure why she didn't give them to me when I got the coffee's instead I had to ask to get them). Guess what I'm not finished there is more, I still did not get my chocolate milk so again asked, the girl said I didn't order a chocolate milk. I told the guy helping me I did and would he like to see my receipt because I have it on my phone, he said no and gave it to me. Most of you understand how much money you pay for coffee and treats, my order was over $23.00. By the time I got to my car it was 20 minutes. Again this continues to happen to us when we place mobile order, but not anymore. You only thought I was done, as we are driving away they messed up my grande latte and didn't put any coffee nut in it, I asked for 2-pumps...BONUS!! No one even apologized for the wait either. read more

This place is always craZy busy - they manage the drive through times very well. So glad they are easy to access and the service is always good. My advice to other patrons - when you see a line, it might take a few minutes....seriously, not the end of the world. Great job Starbucks team and thanks for all the great coffees and service over the year! I get coffee from you at least once a week and enjoy the rewards program, too. I'm gonna start by saying, I'm not a huge Starbucks fan, being from Washington and having access to Dutch Bros makes it hard to enjoy Starbucks. That being said I was relieved to come in to the Winter Gardens location. Place is clean, staff is friendly and like every other Starbucks, it's got a cozy(relaxed) environment. One of the employees, Emmy, I think her name was, greeted me with a smile as I walked through the door. I felt welcome to be there. I gave her my order, one thing I enjoyed is her ability to keep conversation, seems to be a lost art anymore, finding good customer service (that's genuine) can be tough. After a bit, she gave me my coffee. Expecting the usual watered down or burnt tasting Americano I get anytime I go to the Starbucks near my apartment in Santee, I was pleasantly surprised to have a very well mixed drink. Impressed, I tipped her. All in all I'll be returning to this location for my coffee in the future, a bit of a commute but quality is important to me. Thanks Emmy! read more

While the employees here are all extremely friendly, this is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I live right around the corner, and come here often but I've learned the hard way not to come here if I'm on any kind if a schedule. As a former Starbucks shift lead, I know how to properly deploy partners to maximize efficiency, and this place doesn't have it. Often people give up in line at the drive thru and leave. Sadly great friendly service can't compensate for a 20 minute wait for an iced tea. read more

I go to this Starbucks almost everyday. I've never really had a problem until today. I have gone there multiple time with a $100 bill and it was never a problem to get my coffee and change but today there was no way they could break my $100 and give me my coffee. i am a frequent starbucks costumer but hate this specific location. my drink always tastes horrible, no matter what i order ( and i have been here more than a dozen times, trying hard to like them since it close to home ). the staff is also very unprofessional and super loud. last time i was there, one of the baristas was screaming for no reason. i was trying to talk on the phone but he did not seem to care about the costumers. i will be driving to another location from now on, i give up on this starbucks. read more

Went through the drive thru today and ordered my son his usual tuxedo hot chocolate at kids temperature. The girl taking my order repeated back my order and was fully aware of the hot chocolate to be kids temperature. When handing me my drinks she announced,"And here is your grande tuxedo hot chocolate at kids temperature." Gave my son his drink and started to drive off when my son screamed out,"Ouch it burned my mouth mommy!" I had him hand me his drink so I could check the temp and it was burn your tongue hot!!! Pulled into a parking spot where I went to the register to speak to someone and have my sons drink fixed. It was really upsetting that they showed no remorse about my 4 year old burning his mouth and for failing to make it kids temperature the first time!!! You would think they would have been super apologetic and comped his drink but NOPE!!! This is a serious matter and should have been handled a lot differently! !! I'm assuming there was no manager on duty. Get your shit together Starbucks employees and learn how to pay attention if you're making the drinks!!! This is my first problem I've had at this Starbucks. I always have good drinks and the employees are friendly, but today was a big NO NO since my sons tongue was burned and they handled the situation poorly. read more

Getting my drinks made continue to be difficult for the Starbucks location.So when I order a drink with NON-FAT milk why can't you make it with NON-FAT milk? It's gotten so bad my best friend refuses to pick up a Starbucks for me because inevitably I will have to go back and get it remade. Starbucks manager how hard is it to make a drink with nonfat milk? Today again I ordered an iced drink with nonfat milk a d confirmed with the cashier what the cup said. I went to pick up my drink order and I could tell by the color of it was not NON-FAT milk which is much darker in color than 2% or whole milk when combined with espresso. So I say to barista I'm sorry but this was not made with NON-FAT milk-I can tell by the color. She says with a very nice smile that she made it and it is NON-FAT. Then she says "taste it-does it taste too milky? WTF! Does it taste too milky? I tasted it for the sole purpose of entertaining her and said this is not NON-FAT milk. So my drink was remade and guess what it was darker in color. Even the woman standing next to be noted that. Come on Starbucks if the drink is wrong don't tell me it's right! I understand this is one of the busiest Starbucks there is as I've been told by the manager and they have 30 employees at this particular store. That is NO excuse for repetitive errors. Didn't have time to go to another place so went here today. I hope the Mgr reads this because your bottom line is being compromised with each drink that has to be re-made. read more

So this store is hit or miss because it does have some crazy rush hour traffic times and days. I did the online ordering, my receipt said 4-7 mins I showed up promptly 10 mins later, mad Chaos I've never seen this store nor any Starbucks so busy there the place was packed shoulder to shoulder out the door and the drive thru was around the block busy. (Not exaggerating)!!! Anyways there was obviously a back up on drinks which I understand all the barista's were moving as fast as they could. 25 mins later I couldn't wait any longer or I would be late for work. So I grabbed my food and told the guy to not bother to make my drink. I came back later in the afternoon explain to the girl what happens and she so kindly made my drink in the house (but not really because I payed for it) Tori you were so awesome sweet had a great smile on your face that I think that places needs! I wanted to go out of my way mainly for her because she so kindly understood and was so empathetic and sorry I really appreciate people like her! read more

This happened a little bit ago, but I came into this Starbucks and there was a family at the registers yelling at this girl Sierra saying she wrote something prude on the cup, they weren't ordering just sitting there screaming at this girl as she is being very polite to them and asking them if they could resolve the situation to the other side so the other employees could help the line gathering behind them. After they said they weren't leaving their spot the girl had her supervisor help them and she helped me order my drink and have another employee get my total ALL THE WHILE that this family is still yelling in her ear and not listening to the supervisor to move. She continuously apologized to me and continued to get my order, she also informed me that she was off the clock. When I asked how she was able to help me while she was getting an earful of hurtful words and why she would help me if she was off the clock and not just have another employee to do it, she replied "Because helping you is my main priority right now." It amazed me to see how strong one person can be when she is getting yelled at. All in all, I do not believe she was the one to write this thing that this family was blaming her for. She was the sweetest, most caring girl that genuinely cared about her job. All in all, after helping me her supervisor asked her to go to the back so the cops could show up and she could be escorted out because of the family harassing and threatening her. It also amazes me that she did ALL of this for me when she was OFF. I believe Sierra is a great employee at this Starbucks. read more
