I honestly have a debate every time I come here weather I should be going to this Starbucks location or not. They always seem to mess up my drinks, and the food items you want are usually ALWAYS out or look like crap as pictured. I paid for THIS....This location was out of oat milk for like a good two weeks. So I was going to other locations and didn't have a single issue. Lately I'm disappointed Everytime. You're rarely welcomed into the store unless they know you, my favs always welcome me in. I have my favorites of staff because majority are rude and don't acknowledge you here. Girl with purple hair is awesome, a of few girls with long and short black hair are always sweet, red heads got me too, the shift leads are amazing, the guys here are always nice never had an issue always willing to help. I wish I could get all their names. 6-10 of them are amazing and work hard and always problem solve the issues i always have with my drink. Others seem miserable to be there and hate talking to customers. At the time the barista Kayleigh, little hipster looking girl with black hair, messed up my drink and had given attitude when I asked if they could remake it. I paid for add ons and they didn't give them to me so of course I want what I PAID for and asked them to remake it the correct way. Didn't say have a nice day rolling her eyes and just seeping frustration written all over her face. If she didn't want to remake it she should of offered a refund I would of gladly took the refund over the sloppy drink. Just wish some of the staff would find a new job if they're so unhappy here. My PB and J didn't even get a chance at a good life ! Shoutout to the ones who try to give the best service possible and keep pushing despite how busy this location gets ! You guys are rockstars ! The others however you should find something you actually enjoy doing with your life. I just want to see happy staff when I'm coming in became Starbucks is the pick me up I need in my day. I can't thank the staff today enough. My dumb car broke down in the drive thru and mid panic two of the managers helping from another location came out and helped keep me sane. One of them FaceTimed her boyfriend who was a mechanic to help, then pushed my car to the auto shop just across the way. They even went out of their way to go inside and grab my drink which they had remade since it had melted in the madness. I am eternally grateful for these two ladies and I am so sorry my car did a stupid. read more

By far the WORST Starbucks I have ever been to. The location is great, close to home and even has a drive thru. But I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to go to a different Starbucks than to waste my money on a crappy cup of coffee from the lakeside location. I have gone back to see if it was just the staffing of maybe just an off day only to be disappointed time and time again. My drink of choice is a hot white chocolate mocha. When I order it here instead of having a creamy sweet coffee I get a bitter water down cup of...I wouldn't even call it coffee. If I wanted a mediocre coffee I would make it myself. Worst Starbucks I have ever been to in my life! I have been a loyal customer for 20 years so let's just say I know how my coffee should taste. Every time I come to this location, I'm beyond disappointed. It happens to the one closest to me but I would 100% rather drive at this point. First off, they never fill the coffee to the top or anywhere near it(1/4 to 1/3 of the way down). Second, the drinks are never consistent. It's always too bitter or not enough cream/milk. The cold foam, or their sad excuse of their version of it, is always watery and basically non existent. One girl went as far as to tell me "well that's our cold foam" as if it should differ from location to location. Third, the unprofessional of the employees is beyond unacceptable. I had a person at the window that didn't like my reaction to my horribly made drink, tell me she was the manager when I asked to speak to one, mind you she wasn't. And I want to express this review is after MONTHS of me trying to give them a chance to correct these mistakes. I am now convinced they will never do so. Worst Starbucks around. My daughter attempted to order at the counter yesterday. Mind you, there was NO ONE else in line. While there were NINE people milling around in the kitchen, it took someone a minute to even notice her, come up to the register and ask, "did you have a question?" she said, "I'd like to order". He was suddenly too busy to help, but assured her someone (one of the other EIGHT people working there) would help her, mumbling something about filling ice. She waited while they continued super-busy (with no customers to help), then just gave up and left. This is the last time we come to this location. Judging from all the other negative reviews, this location is due for a visit from Corporate headquarters, hint, hint. I was in to pick up a mobile order that my wife ordered. I gave the name to one employee and she said they were working on it. A few minutes later a different employee asked to see my mobile order. I told her my wife ordered it and did they not receive it. She said no so I called my wife. She saw me calling and walked away. Within seconds the original employee said my order was ready. This is a company that has been slammed about racism, and apparently shutting down so all their employees received training last year fell of deaf ears at this location. The second employee obviously believed I was trying to steal an order even though I asked for my order by name. This would not have happened if I were white. I called a few minutes later and they did not bother to answer the phone. Starbucks needs to clean house. $6 per drink is unreasonable if I am not getting stellar service. read more

So on normal occasions when I go to Starbucks at this location it takes 10 minutes to get a cuppa coffee. Today it took over 20 minutes to get to the window and then I waited even longer. I asked for a manager, named Olive, said it was terrible service Today and told them to throw away 2 orders at $5.25 for large coffees! I also stated that I would never wait 20 min for coffee and that they lost a customer for life! Guess what, I have banned Starbucks for Life! Now I get to save $5.25 for each cup of coffee I buy! Nice for me and bad for them. The problem was that the manager seemed not to care so guess what I do not care either. I went in this location this morning and there was a trainee working the register. When she asked one of her coworkers a question, he berated her in front of everyone. He talked to someone he was "training" like she was a moron. Very rude and condescending. Then he made a pot of coffee and left the spigot open on the coffee carafe so It poured all over the counter and floor. So let me get this straight, you berate a trainee for all to see and then you mess up yourself. Makes sense why the service is so awful there when the people who are "mentoring" the future baristas are absolute jerks AND incompetent themselves. I used to go here every day. I cannot say enough good things about Victoria at this location. I was on my way down to the hospital for my nieces first baby called her five minutes before they closed and she assured me not to worry to come down she'd stay open and have my back. Got to the drive-through one minute before closing she cheerfully made all four coffee's for the 1st time daddy and family with A big smile on her face and congratulations for the family! Her attitude was exceptional and I truly feel like she went above and beyond. You don't find customer service like that these days and only was she willing to stay open at closing when most places are cleaning up and don't want to help the last customer her attitude was welcoming cheerful and even though we were strangers showed excitement for our family! Malisa is AMAZING is went above and beyond with customer service! My family and I ordered a large order through the drove thru on our way to look at Christmas lights! We tried to order cake pops or cookies but they were all sold out! She made a joke about it being Holiday break at Starbucks! Worst Starbucks around San Diego, mobile orders take 10-15 minutes to receive, ordering a simple coffee takes forever. If you come here expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes for your order. Half the time they forget you order food. Got a cup of coffee with the lip of the cup bent last time I was here and lid would not fit right and coffee spilled all over my car, and district manager sent me a 15 dollar Starbucks card. How about you pay me my 45 bucks I had to pay to detail the inside of my car. This place horrible, you can see in people's faces how irritated they are when coming to this location. Come here 2-3 times a week. On Wednesday I ordered a sandwich from the drive thru and they got it wrong. I called and spoke with a female (kristi or crystal) that told me that she was sorry and she would take my name down and make sure to have it taken care of next time I came in. I came in this morning (Friday) and I order and coffee and breakfast sandwich. When I got to the window I spoke with Tavi and I told him my situation from my previous visit. Without hesitation he offer to give me my drink for FREE which was more expensive than the sandwich. I replied it was not necessary but he insisted.
