Absolute slowest Starbucks I've ever visited. 10:30am on a Tuesday morning. Not a fancy or complicated order: Americano and a hot chocolate. Ordered at the counter for here, waited over 20 min to get a drink. Not prioritizing customers at the counter = bad business move. Saw drive through get their drinks much faster. I ordered a Carmel crunch frappe as a large. And didn't add the crunch part to it. Came back to ask them about it and there was just awkward silence. And grabbed my drink to add more which I see him use the rest of the small container of crunch to add on top of the drink I already had. Plus was almost nothing. Gf ordered a peach green tea lemonade and ask for a large. More than straight forward. But it came in the smallest size they had and I paid for the smallest size they had so I couldn't exactly come back and say hey you have me the wrong size but I guess idk. It's the size I paid for. This is the best Starbucks, ever. Honestly all the ones in the area are pretty great (you better be paying them well, corporate!!!) but this one is by my house and I'm here several times a week. They are incredibly friendly, very fast and efficient even though they're almost always slammed and the drinks are consistently good. I've wanted to leave a review for a while because they're so fantastic and the 3 star rating is NOT accurate. Today though, I mobile ordered from the wrong location and even though they were busy they happily addressed my question about it and offered to make it there instead, and then did in about 2 minutes. I really love this Starbucks. Ignore the reviews where people expect to have their butt kissed along with their latté. The baristas here are genuinely friendly and kind, and when I dropped my dragon drink all over my kitchen this summer, they made me another when I came back in with my cracked cup and sad face. They also, last year, swapped out a tumbler of mine that warped in the sun. If you're friendly and polite, you'll get that back from customer service people. Just a tip. Treat them like you'd like to be treated, and if someone doesn't say "you're welcome," don't take it personally. Cut them some slack. They're hourly workers exploited by a gigantic corporation, just like the majority of us. They're not paid enough to be your best friend. Just take your drink and go. If it's not exactly to your liking, they'll fix it, as I've seen myself on many occasions. Yeah, they can get a little backed up with mobile orders, but that's not their fault. Basically--they're doing their best, the company is to blame for short staffing, and you're buying coffee, not interviewing best friends. I am glad this is my neighborhood Starbucks. I like this location for its proximity to my home and for the ample seating, indoor and out, it offers. Definitely not the largest Starbucks, but adequate for lounging. The parking is rarely a problem, especially with overflow parking in the back and on the street. The interior is typical Starbucks, and the outdoor seating is comfortable. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. Place is clean, even during busy hours. I've been here dozens of times and never had a confrontation or below superb service. In the morning hours, this place is crazy busy, especially the drive through, but they seem to staff sufficiently to keep the line moving. I have nothing to complain about. read more

Unfortunately I need to post that this location is regularly 15-25 minutes to get a single drink in the mornings. Several times I have had to leave after waiting 20 mins, go about my errand, and stop by an hour later to pick up my drink still waiting on the counter and warm. Even with pre- order estimate saying it will be 13 mins, it is often 5 mins longer than estimate. With the delay , the mobile drive through pickup is not a reasonable option so then you have to ask the counter to hunt down your drink inside. Add that to the just mediocre made drinks, paper notices on hour changes, and manager making excuses for delays. Skip this location- go to a different one. read more

I'm a good Starbucks customer. I don't expect to be treated like something one finds at the bottom of one's shoe, but that's exactly how the staff here at this Starbucks treats me. Using the mobile app here is useless because you can order items and then arrive to pick them up only to be told, "We just sold out." Avoid this Starbucks at all costs. So they've closed their inside apparently due to a lack of employees. If you have a mobile order you have to sit in the drive through lane which is typically out the parking lot and into the street. However if someone walks up to the door, an employee can come out and tell them the lobby is closed, but they can't walk a mobile order to the door and help reduce the wait time in the drive through. Avoid this Starbucks if you're in a time crunch because you'll be waiting in line for 10-20 mins unless you come at a slow time. read more

The employees here seem to have a "fake nice" attitude going on. It doesn't feel genuine. It doesn't feel like they listen or care about their jobs at all. It makes it awkward to go there. It's also pretty annoying to order and then have the same employee ask you two more times if she could help me. It felt like she didn't remember me from just two minutes ago. That happened today and I'd be more understanding if the place was busy but it wasn't at all. The place is clean. The drinks are fine. It stinks that my first experience at this Starbucks was a crappy one. The girl that helped me was not polite at all and seemed like she truly hated saying you're welcome. Very snooty attitude which I don't understand since I said thank you a bunch of times. In addition, I ordered a strawberry refresher and there was what looked like half a strawberry in it and it barely had a taste to it. Really let down compared to the other Starbucks I've gone to. And this one is literally 2 minutes from my place. Not going back to this one. I'd rather drive out of my way. I've been coming to this location since it opened and not once have I received decent customer service. When I come through the drive thru in the mornings and sure it's a busy location, I feel like I'm inconvenience because they're busy. The drive-thru etiquette is rushed and I feel like I'm being yelled at over the intercom to order quickly. The tone feels very "what do you want?!" Sometimes I'm not even greeted when I come to the window, I'm just demand of my money and my drink is forced into my hand. Not even a "have a nice day" as I leave after giving you $6 for a drink. There have been times when the employees' conversation with each other appears to be way more important than taking my order, or heck, even acknowledging my presence when ordering inside. I understand that Starbucks is probably the largest coffee industry ever in the history of coffee industries, but I don't really think that's license to treat people like crap. The lack of customer service here is a pretty good incentive to never come again. read more

I initially had a positive review for this location. Now I'm lowering it because there's a glitch in communication somewhere from the afternoon staff. Every time I ask for something, such as no ice or extra caramel, they don't deliver. I don't think the people who makes the drinks for the drive-thru listen to the orders that are given. Or the person who puts the orders in doesn't mark it right. Either way, it's frustrating and it makes me mad. The staff here is amazing. I placed a mobile order to the wrong store and came to my regular location to pick it up. I was told that they were sorry, but they didn't see my order come through and would make it for me right away. I figured that it was a glitch before I checked and realized my mistake. Even though the barista probably knew exactly how I messed up before I did he was VERY kind to me and insisted that I not pay twice because he believed that I placed the order, even if it wasn't to this location. I made sure I tipped him very well for my error. The drive through here is very efficient and the baristas at the window will gladly chit chat/ banter with you when they're not totally slammed. If they are, they just try to get you your drink as quickly and politely as possible. I appreciate that they're always working hard and have a smile on their face. read more

This Starbucks has been truly terrible over the past three months. Until today, I've gone to this location several times per week. However, at this point, I'm taking my business elsewhere. I sat in the drive thru line for 25 minutes to get my drink. Not a single person acknowledged the wait time or were the least bit friendly. This location seems to care more about the mobile order crowd instead of those who willingly wait in their cars. Furthermore, the quality and consistency of the drinks has been awful. After waiting in line this morning, the two drinks I ordered were lukewarm and I just couldn't bear to wait in line again only for the same thing to happen. I am done with this location as it's abundantly clear the staff here doesn't care about drink quality or customer experience. read more

The team working at this location is great! They are always willing to accommodate their customers and make sure that they have what they need. I drink decaf coffee and really prefer the brewed coffee, after asking a few times they started brewing it for me every morning at 5am when I get there to do my work for school. The building is always clean and I have never seem the line get very long because the team works efficiently to help customers and keep things moving. read more

This location took over for the one next to king Soopers and a lot of the employees transferred to this new one. They are amazing! However the newer people they hired are awful! I stopped in today and it was the worse experience I have ever had at a Starbucks. None of the employees were wearing name tags so I don't even know the name of the jerk who helped me. He was the rudest person I have ever met! Saying "are you done?" After ordering the drinks. Never once smiled. Didn't ask if we wanted a receipt. He was more worried about playing with his phone by the ovens! I work retail customer service and I understand someone having a bad day or not smiling. But this was obnoxious! I'm very surprised to see I haven't written a review for this location, because I come here nearly every day, and have since it moved to this location (was previously in the shopping center where the King Soopers is, and I was a regular there for a very long time as well). I genuinely wish I could give this location more stars, but I think I'm being pretty generous with three as it is. Six or so months ago I might have felt differently, but the entire crew here, both management and regular staff, has changed completely. There is not one single person from the original location left working here - the knowledgeable, friendly folks- and it has become a total disaster. In general, morning-midday is fairly okay, even if it's busy (and it usually is). Lately though, there have been multiple instances of drinks being made at an incredibly slow pace, and in some cases not at all, because they still haven't seemed to learn how their new sticker system works despite it having been in places for several months now. I'm quite familiar with these sticker printers for this sort of thing, because while I've never worked for Starbucks, I worked at another food service-oriented business that had the same thing. They're beyond easy to use and understand, so I'm baffled that they can't seem to figure it out. Staff turnover here has become quite high, whereas it was once very stable, so I'm sure that's contributing to the problems this place has developed. Most of the staff here are friendly, some even remember my name after seeing me day after day after day, but there is one person here who should not be in the position of dealing with customers. It's incredibly rare that I complain about anything, including poor or rude service, but I'm intending to complain to their district manager about this person as she has been beyond rude to me on multiple occasions, including today, just prior to this writing, and I'm done just accepting it. Anyone who comes here even semi-regularly and has encountered this person should know exactly who I'm referring to. It's not even just customers she's rude to - she's incredibly bad with other staff members as well. It's obvious she's not suited for this sort of work (which I actually understand as I'm not either, which is why I don't do it...). Afternoons are the worst time to come here, IMO. For some reason this seems to be the time when more drinks are 'forgotten' than any other time of day. I just now sat here (yes, this is being written on location!) and watched as person after person who ordered after me got their drinks, while mine went unmade. I had to go to the counter, at which point no one said anything, but suddenly my drink was being made. So, at least I got it, I guess. Not the first time it's happened, but has become a somewhat regular occurrence since all of the staff were replaced. Also, be prepared to stand at the register for a while until someone decides to acknowledge you. That happens nearly every day in the afternoons; not so much mornings or midday. My drinks are usually made correctly, though I generally get pretty simple stuff. Occasionally they don't bother to read the additional instructions (e.g. no this, no that, yes this, yes that other thing), so I end up with just the basic drink without whatever it is I asked for. That actually happened just yesterday. Oy. I don't usually bother to get it corrected because I don't feel like it's worth the energy. Despite all that I'll probably keep coming here simply because it's habit. However, the new location at Jewell & Wads is pretty nice, if rather tiny, so I may try to use that one more frequently. I do know that at least one staff member from this location moved over there, so maybe the service is better (I've only been there once; it was fine). At this location it's nice if you need to get online for a bit since there's plenty of seating, plus the giant table. This is a very busy location though, so there are often times you'll have to wait if you want to sit and stay a while/do some work/waste time on the internet. This morning I couldn't even park in the parking lot as it was completely full. I've only been through the drive-thru once, because in general I hate drive-thrus, but it was fine. That was back when there was a lot of the old staff here though. It's unlikely I'd use it now. I really regret not being able to write a more positive review of this location, because it's long (4+ years, which includes its original location) been my favorite, but it just isn't what it used to be. It's poorly managed and poorly staffed and that seems to be perfectly fine with those with the power to change things for the better. And that's really a shame. Oh, also, avoid the bathrooms unless you absolutely can't wait. They are utterly disgusting no matter what time of day it is - it's like they never clean them. I was going to send a message kindly asking for a free beverage, but I don't see the option, so here is my review: conveniently located near my favorite grocery store, quick service. My drink sucked. I go to Starbucks A LOT so I can say compared to every other visit this is by far the worst flat white I have gotten. For those of you who do not know a flat white (Iced) is a latte made with ristretto shots (most employees are happy to correct your terminology when ordering an iced flat white) Anyway it is supposed to be sweeter than the regular latte. However, the beverage I got today is so bitter I went home and poured half into a glass and added more milk and it still left an awful taste on my tongue. Sure, they will make it over for you on the spot, but I went through the drive thru for a reason- my baby was falling asleep so I was stuck between taking extra time to Loop around, wake him up and unleash the devil to go in, or deal with an awful $5 coffee. I chose the last option. I work nearby and stop in probably 3 days a week for coffee. Parking is tight some mornings but service is fine. I go inside, can't speak for the drive thru. Como is a great manager, always wanting to chat and their evenings service with the wine and snacks is a nice stop after a day at work. read more

I have been going to this location since it opened, due to convenience. When it first opened it seemed the staff was properly trained and drinks were made correctly. It had only gone down hill since and not sure how much further down they can go. My drink is a pretty straight forward and yet I have only gotten it done correctly a handful of times in the past 3 years or so. Their food is stale and for some reason it takes longer to get a slice of banana bread than it does for an americano. Breakfast sandwiches are either dry and nuked to Hell, or frozen in the middle still. The Starbucks inside Safeway does a better job and they aren't even a "real" Starbucks! read more

I bought the cold reusable cup and they tried to tell me it didn't come with a lid. I feel like it does since the sample by the register has one.
