The has high ceilings, a pillar seating couch and chill seating for intimate discussion with a long wood table for late evening study groups. Always reliable! Downtown LA on a Sunday afternoon, looking for something to eat. A quick sandwich and coffee from Starbucks does not disappoint. I had a horrible experience. Visiting a client of mine from across the street from your location. placed an order for my office mates (4 double smoked gouda sandwiches, vegan med wrap and 2 large dragon drinks and 1 large blonde coffee). when I got back to the office 3 miles away! realized my order was incorrect. drove back to starbucks and explained my situation, the man who listened to me with no empathy and no human emotoion other than to mock me (which i called him out on, then changed his tone and asked "what do I want". I explained you shorted me two sandwiches, he looked up my order and said, this is what we charged you for with no empathy and asked what do I want? i mocked him and said my order that I placed the 2 missing sandwiches. he said that was good, I than sarcaatically said, NO my experience is not good and he shrugged his shoulders. I'm hot at this point and he is doing nothing to show any kindness or customer service other than to get me out of there. I than said, I would like a discount since I had to drive back he said no, but he asked, did the lady who took my order repeat the order back to me. I said no. he than said, I'll give you one sandwich for free. whoppeee! needless to say, I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM STARBUCKS, NOT THAT YOU NEED MY BUSINESS. Usually go to La Live where they're so amazing but thought I'd go see what was down the street, immediately left this location after the store was playing loud in appropriate music, I was never greeted when I came in. After dinner tonight, I came here to unwind with a good book and a tea. Very relaxed and comfortable. I enjoyed the layout. This did not feel crowded and the tables were spaced out nicely. I love this new Starbucks. It's big, it's clean, and the employees are so nice. I thought when this opened it was going to be another Starbucks, but I've been coming here frequently. I don't often write reviews but wanted to come on here and say that every single time I come into this Starbucks (1-2x/week) I encounter Jae. I never even introduced myself until recently and yet every morning I'm greeted by name and with kind, bright energy. I guess he just learned my name over time from my drink order which is impressive. He goes above and beyond to every person I watch him encounter and he's always hustling around that store. Trying to get into the habit of commenting when I have great experiences as well as bad ones. I ordered the blended java chip frap & a croissant via the mobile app. The Mobile App is a GODSEND by the way. SIDESTORY: Back in 2015 or 2016, people didn't seem to be using the mobile app all the frequently. I would come into the Starbucks in Torrance, CA, near where I worked at the time and there would always be a long as line. So I started using the mobile app regularly and my drinks would be ready damn near by the time I got there. Come in, grab my drink, glance at the link of angry coffee drinkers, and leave. One day, this older woman stopped me and asked me, "How are you getting your drinks so fast?? Are you calling ahead?" I showed her how to download and use the mobile app. The next time I saw her, she thanked me. I'd truly changed her life... or at least her mornings. Back to THIS Starbucks. I was in & out of this Starbucks too fairly quickly with no hiccups. They always do a great job and take care of me and the rest of the customers. Arrived here early around 8am and was surprised to find that there wasn't a great long line that I had to be sad about. This SB is fairly new, and is kept in a good clean condition which I appreciate. The staff here are very friendly and diligently try to get your drink ready as humanly possible. One time, I ordered 10 drinks for some friends! The employees came through by getting my drinks ready quickly. There was someone who tried to say one of my drinks was theirs, and one of the staff told that person it was not theirs which was real customer service and just real straight up G. Street parking is available, but can be packed depending what time of the day you decide to swing by. Saturday's and Sunday's street parking is free, but be ready to plop some coins in Monday through Friday. Great location, great service, but they need to work on the lack of outlets here (if any). read more

I pre ordered my coffee about 10 mins before I made it to the store. I arrived and my order was not ready. Only 2 workers behind the counter. I had 10 mins on the clock before I clocked in for work (which was literally 2 minutes away from the Starbucks location). The person that was preparing my order never once greeted me, she took her time, she had a frown on her face the whole time and even got my order wrong. I stood there for about 10 mins before I even got my coffee. This ruined my morning. Wrong order, late for work, and my coffee tasted disgusting. I feel like I wasted my money! read more

This Starbucks is huge and always spotless. It is the newest location downtown as far as I know. The indoor seating is closed due to COVID but they are open for pickup and delivery. There are also benches outside in the shade that are open for use. My one comment is that for some reason they have more limited lunch sandwich options than the surrounding locations, BUT my coffee order is $.50 cheaper here than the one a block down for some reason, so I can't complain lol. The staff is super nice and FAST at making drinks, and my order is always just as it should be. read more

Starbucks South Park Los Angeles Pico and Grand Monday 12/20 21 3:50 PM I just had some undrinkable coffee at this Starbucks. My friend complained about it as hers was equally bad. Apparently out of revenge for the complaint One of the workers followed by the manager asked us for vaccination card and ID. I had them and my friend only had a vaccination card and no ID. The manager said she had to leave. We both left and left the undrinkable coffee that we paid for on the table. Meanwhile two other people that came in after us were not asked for vaccination cards and ID. HR should probably look into this or add such a scenario to their training regarding vaccine cards and ID. read more

I love this Starbucks. I usually come here after work in the afternoon and it's nice to see that even later in the day they have a great attitude. Leticia is always really nice and makes conversations as if we're close friends so that's pretty crazy for a chain I guess. But in a good way. I normally wouldn't write a review about a random Starbucks I happy to stop in, but I'm taking a second to write one about this one. It's not that anything to consume is any different from any of the other Starbucks, it's that the staff deserve the extra stars because they are all just unusually friendly. From asking if you want a fresh brew, which I did, to stopping what they are doing to fill the napkins or replace the milk, to asking you as you wait how your day is going and even opening up about their day, it just felt like they were trying to differentiate themselves from a typical Starbucks from a customer service perspective and it showed. It was appreciated. I saw one of them going around asking if they could throw away trash on a table or asking if they needed anything else. They smile when they were serving. I was very impressed and the management deserves kudos for hiring the right staff. On a side note, the place was relatively clean and the seating was enough. I wish they had a table section outside as well, but it's probably a city or permit limitation. read more
