This is a hidden away end spot at the southwest corner of the Gelson's parking lot. The staff all said good morning to me as I entered, which is a good sign of management training and service. My personal container was filled and was only a few minutes of waiting. There is a nice bench outside and patio seating adjacent to the Starbucks coffee shop. I feel this is a neighborhood Starbucks, as there is no drive-thru and noboby was in a hurry to go anywhere. read more

Starbucks all pretty much have the same fixed menu and ambiance so not much to review on that front. After my local Starbucks closed, I started going to this location. Josh, who often works the register always leads with kindness. However, I came in last week and he must've been having on off day- how do I know this? As I walk up to the register his colleague, Margaux walks up to the register and goes ( in the most condescending/ patronizing tone) "we keep need to remaking drinks- it's not hard ask the size and if it's hot or cold" Josh apologized and said he was sorry he is trying to do better than he's doing yesterday and then Margaux responded "well you're not" she walked away and Josh looked so bummed I told him it was chill and tried to move forward as usual. Once I was waiting for my drink she kept yelling over to Josh - it's okay you got this one! But not kindly super patronizing . I'm all for coaching but this was humiliating for the guy he looked like he was going to cry and meanwhile she's standing behind the bar giggling with the other baristas. Unsure if this is typical but customer service workers deserve dignity and these feedbacks need to be off the floor and not infront of clients. read more

I want to compliment this location's staff. They're really, really great. I try not to drink Starbucks anymore (for a lot of reasons waiving my hands around in the air) but I want to make sure Starbucks knows that the employees here are not to blame. The location's decor is pretty bad. It used to be much prettier but they changed out the seating and it looks pretty crummy. It's like the right half of the store doesn't match the left. If Starbucks were to change their politics, their treatment of their staff, and their anti-union stances I'd go back to spending $$$ each week on coffee. Service: I've been to many many many different Starbucks in California and in different states to sit and enjoy coffee. I must say that this location has THE best service with kind, welcoming staff who make me feel at home and happy to be there. I see them interact with the customers and it is like a family between them. Staff is always happy to help and smiling in the morning when I'm not (yet). Update 5mins after posting original 5-star review below: Apparently I spoke too soon. I asked for a coffee refill, free for Starbucks members but Sharon didn't know what buttons to push and kept repeating at me to pay. Sure I can pay the 50cents refill BUT it's discounted for members for free coffee refill. She simply would not listen when I asked her to check with another staff member to ring it up properly. Finally another staff member realized what Sharon was doing, came over, punched in the correct buttons on the register. Sharon said not a word of apology for wasting my time. She didn't even look at me as I walked out. So not all barristers are friendly. I was just lucky to have a nice barista who took my original order and wish I didn't have to deal with rude Sharon. ----- original review ------ Love it when I need to kill an hour and find a Starbucks that offers not just good coffee but also have friendly baristas! Lots of parking available in lot shared with Gelson's and other businesses. You have to spell and repeat your order they don't understand English and try and correct you then say sure to you. That's really rude.

At this location they ignore the order number. I spent 20 minutes waiting for a Cheese Danish bread, and when I saw all the people who came after me left before with their drinks and pastries that worried me. I asked to a chubby Asian lady what happened about my order and she said "I don't Speak Spanish" I tell I'm talking in English!!!! and she states I can't heard you!!! I raise my voice and she just left my question without answer and left her team by going inside and claiming that I was screaming. Discriminating my race as a customer causing me bad idea about what the real mission and vision Starbucks has toward clients. Would be great if manager pay attention about how team engagement is not engaged with customer service at this point causing toxic environment. read more

This is MY FAV STARBUCKS!! I love the baristas here, they are kind, and make the drinks right on point. This Starbucks has been there for me, through rainy days, sunny ones, happy, sad, through corona time, and it really just feels like home. I love seeing the same friendly faces, and once in awhile new ones. I've come here with my nieces for a Starbucks date, Solo time, and some special yelpers for coffee and henna tattoos. (There's outdoor seating). It's located in same plaza as Gelsons Market, but hidden in a little corner. There is also 4 parking spaces for curbside service! Inside is really nice as well. I've always loved the wall art. So if I sit inside I'm admiring that. The baristas made their own version of pick up easier by alphabetical order. Smart!! Look for your letter amongst the 3 sections. Some favs include - 1) impossible breakfast sandwich 2) peach green tea lemonade 3) black tea lemonade 4) chai tea latte with soy milk 5) matcha green tea latte with soy milk or oat milk Can't wait for the seasonal to come back. I've stopped a few times at this location and they were never busy which I LOVED. The customer service is good. Service is fairly quick. The drinks well made. Very clean inside and out. A few tables to sit at inside and a few outside. Wifi works pretty well. Plenty of free parking in a shared lot. Parking in front of the shop though is limited to a few minutes which is fine if you are just grabbing it to go. If you have a gift card, make sure to register it in order to earn points towards a free drink or pastry. read more

Last time I'll go to this location. Clearly some new folks are working there but customers shouldn't have to train them. Two back to back botched drinks (pix included). I've got better consistency from La Colombe's latte in a CAN! Your employees will be your down fall Starbucks if you cannot ensure they can deliver. Too much competition out there to put up with this. Oh and I see Dunkin' Donuts is serving cold foam cold brew now too. read more

So happy for this new location in Silver Lake! Staff is polite, pleasant, and on top of mobile orders. (I stopped going to the other Starbucks location off Glendale Blvd because that last few times I was there, seemed to me socializing while I waited for a mobile order that wasn't even noticed until I finally asked where my order was. Anyway, this isn't about them.) I will say this...lookout when school is back in session again. It's quite popular with the high school students before and after school so plan accordingly. No update really. Just wanna day that it's about 5.15pm and it's nice and mellow I'm here. Second time i encountered this lady who has tattoos over hears arms white blond haired . Unprofessional a type of employee that answer back to her boss .i was talking and she didn't get what i wanted to say so i removed a lace of my mask so i can speak clearly she said put back your mask like she was my teacher which i do understand it was a protocol however behind me was a guy not even eating has no mask on totally not even hanging on his ears Whats up with that? I ordered a tall caramel crunch frapp today after 4pm (you know who you are) and the female barista deliberately made it watery and didn't give me the whipped cream, caramel sauce, and nuts that come with the drink. I called her out for not putting any whipped cream and instead of offering to remake it she puts a smidge of whipped cream and caramel sauce over the disgusting drink. I'd like to see her drink her own nasty creation. read more

This is hands down my favorite Starbucks location! They are the most consistent with their drinks and their baristas are always so nice. The latest time I went I was greeted by a lovely cute petite Asian missy with daaaark red hair. She was truly a sight for sore eyes. She made my drink like no one else ever has. I like to consider myself a Dragon Drink connoisseur. Everywhere Starbucks I go to, I get a venti Dragon Drink with 3 scoops of dragon fruit and vanilla sweet cold foam (you should really try it, it's delicious) and out of every Starbucks I have been to, in Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and so much more, this Starbucks makes my drink the best by far. Every time I go to another Starbucks location, I am disappointed and dissatisfied with my drink, either the cold foam is off or they put to little coconut milk, something is always off, but at this location, it is perfect every time. The staff are so kind as well, they greet me by name every time I come in, and often put stickers on drinks when you tip. They interact with me, ask me how my day is going and such, and say goodbye to me and wish me well. They decorate for different holidays, even pride, and come up with creative drinks. They made a drink inspired by on of Taylor Swifts albums (Midnights) and I believe it was very creative. I would rate this store a 12/10, but I cannot, so I will stick to a 10/10. I would recommend this store to everyone, if you're a Swifty, looking for a good drink, or just want to have a good interaction with nice people, you should come the the Griffith Park and Hyperion Starbucks location. read more

Purchased a medium sized mocha frapachino with whipped cream. Its usually what I buy when at a Starbucks. When I paid for it, I was given my change: a ten; a five; and the various coinage. When I had asked Sharon to break the five that she gave me, she informed me that she had already shut the register drawer and tried moving on to the next customer. A pair had only just walked up. I had to interrupt her (as we had not concluded our transaction) by asking her, "How am I going to tip you?" She acted like I had some nefarious reason for wanting to exchange the fiver for ones. The barista mixing the drinks handed Sharon the keys and told her to open the register. There seems to be an unsaid culture in Starbucks now, where the working class just aren't welcome. I work in food service, where customer service is a way of life. I am extremely good at customer service. I dare say that I am one of the best. There is no excuse whatsoever to treat customers in this fashion. We aren't in the establishment for the workers; but rather, the workers are there to assist us. WITH COMMON COURTESY. I called this business about 5 times on a Tuesday at 2:52pm and they just refused to answer their phones. Very unprofessional. Wanted to see if they had something in stock before I drove all the way there.
