Free coffee grounds for people to take home
    Clarissa C.

This Starbucks has gone through several design changes in the past few years, but it is, in my opinion, really flourished with this latest iteration. The employees are friendly, the drinks have always been good, and the space is bright and inviting (where before it was more moody and had inconvenient seating options). There is now a lot of seating indoors as well as a large patio outside with plenty of seating as well. There are also additional touches like offering free coffee grounds for customers to take home and a TV screen that shows the status of your order. This cafe feels less like someone is trying to get you out the door immediately and is instead a better place to meet up with a friend. As far as a location of a global coffee chain goes, this one is definitely one of the better ones you can find!

The vibe is happening Starbucks! Might have something to do with the music and mirth of the staff! Nate warmly greeted me! Went with his recommended Caramel Crunch Frappucino! (But for a moment was tempted to use my Blue Steel look and order a Venti Mocha Valencia Frappucino!) Thankfully the Breakfast wrap was in! So Satisfying w/ Sriracha! But before I could return to work, I was still in need of hydration (given last evening's libation Shhh). Divine intervention interceded. Faye walked in and just had to recommend the "Paradise Drink." Pineapple Refresher Lemonade with Coconut Milk and Strawberry Purée! Not shaken. Not stirred. Blended. Very double O. My gosh the Paradise Drink just became my go to! I can imagine it with rum! Imagination is a helluva drug! Whew! Feel soooooo relaxed already! The splash of Coconut milk recommended by Faye but delivered by Andrea was perfect! Thanks, Andrea! It's soooooo good: tart, creamy, & refreshing goodiness with the potential for a pinch of naughty. (Where's Capt Morgan?! Haha!) A super big heartfelt thank you, ladies! Grazie mille! I'll be back! It's gonna be a happy afternoon! Would order everything again! Woohoo!

This used to be my favorite of the area Starbucks, even allowing for the daily 3pm swarming of school kids that monopolized the entire place. But after this most recent remodel (the third one for this location by my count), they took away every single thing that made this location great. You'd think a remodel would aim to improve a place and while it's newer and sleeker, it kind of sucks. The big tables in the back? Gone. The arm chairs in the middle of the main room? Gone. The long bar with stools next to the high-end coffee prep? Gone. (Pretty sure it's no longer a Reserve level shop.) The welcoming and experienced staff? Gone. Half the places to sit and almost all of the tables? Gone. I think this is a high-earning location and they figured, "It's Los Gatos, they'll still buy here no matter what we do." They're really giving "We don't want you to stay here for anything length of time" vibe. For me, they're going to get their wish, I'll go to the other, now superior, locations nearby.

Reserve HOUSE AFFOGATO Classic Affogato, drizzle of golden demerara syrup, topped w dusting of cinnamon powder Sun 6/20/2021 Los Gatos

Starbucks Reserve Los Gatos Sunday 6/20/2021 Summer Solstice.. the longest day of the year There was a young lady named Hannah, She was super nice at Reserve Her job was to prep and to serve She went beyond and above In serving coffee with love And she made me compose this verse. Starbucks Reserves are so much better than regular SB cafes. Their coffees come from flavorful and rare single-origin beans, roasted at six specialty Roasteries in Seattle's global HQ, Milano, Shanghai, New York, Tokyo, or Chicago. They sport bar counters called Reserve Bar, where you could sit and experience the theatrical process of mixology by a barista-slash-bartender. Los Gatos is one of 43 global bars and one of several in the SF Bay Area. As a sizzling heat wave with record breaking temperatures arrived to the West, many Starbucks's stores run out of items due to supply shortages. For instance, they didn't have ice cream at Reserve Cupertino, and so I drove to Los Gatos. Hooray, here they've got it, vanilla ice cream! Hannah was real nice and made every cup with a smile, thank you! My go-to drinks are HOUSE AFFOGATO -Classic Affogato upgraded with drizzle of golden demerara syrup and dusting of cinnamon powder; and Reserve COLD BREW MALT, which is an Ultra-thick blended malted milkshake with Starbucks Reserve® cold brew and vanilla ice cream. A delectable yum! If you have a reserve cafe near you, give it a try. If not, I'm sorry:) Coffee Cheers!

It's a VENTI kind of day!

This has been one of my go-to Starbucks locations for years. A few years ago, they created a Starbucks Reserve bar which made this Starbucks look more fancier than others and allowed customers to be more creative with their orders! As for me, I take advantage of the mobile app, they always make my drink quickly or as indicated on their estimated time. I really appreciate that!

I came here on a weekend afternoon. I was looking forward to my first time at the Starbucks reserve experience. Sadly they were closed before business hours. However, the regular Starbucks counter was open. I will have to call in next time to see the time reserve is open.

Such a shame!!!!! Berta ruined this store for me.... Imagine fighting with a customer over an inch of sweet cream. She ruined this store for being so salty and rude. I hope management sees this. She does not belong in customer service. Why would I pay for extra something if they don't honor that? Terrible

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 02/23/16 This particular location of Starbucks is located in Los Gatos, California. There are many tables and chairs for you to sit, read, do computer work or catch up with a friend over tea or coffee. It's clean and well maintained inside. The customer service is friendly and fast. The best times are early when things are not so hectic. The worst times to come - in the afternoon on a hot summer day when everyone in town is trying to get their favorite iced beverage to cool down. Starbucks bought SF's La Boluange in 2012 for a sweet 100M and feature their sandwiches and baked goodies in their coffee shops. Came here today and picked up two sausage cheddar egg muffin sandwiches for my hubs and son along with a tall latte for myself. Starting in April of 2016- Sbux will implement its new Sbux reward policy: http://www.starbucks.com/card/rewards/rewards-program-ts-and-cs 1. 2 stars per $1.00 spent with your registered Starbucks card. 2. 125 stars to redeem your free Starbucks reward (meaning you'll have to spend $62.50 to reach the freebie). 3. To attain Gold Card Starbucks status you'll need 300 stars per calendar year. It's obvious that with the new reward system you'll earn less freebies. I love the soy vanilla lattes, the breakfast sandwiches aren't bad and their blueberry muffins warmed up are heavenly :) Noelle's Notes Good coffee Friendly customer service

    Outside, nice.

....and then, this! I go to Starbucks every day. No Starbucks on the Monterey Peninsula can stand up to our experience at this Starbucks Reserve. Walking through the door my immediate impression was I was in a showroom, an interior design showroom. It came with perfectly situated props in the form of well groomed and well dressed persons from the neighborhood. The baristas were exceptionally energized. This crew loves their job. If they don't they are very good actors. This was not a normal experience. An 'L' shaped bar, high ceilings, giant wall menu, spacious with fancy lighting. I liked it. A barista explained to me this is one of only five 'Reserves' in California. That may or may not be true but there are none in my county. Bravo Starbucks, this is next level material here.

How does Starbucks run out of Splenda twice in three weeks?? - There is a Lunardis grocery across the street, seems like they could easily make a trip over to protect their brand quality when we are paying $5 for coffee

    Celine L.

I have always had a good experience here! The baristas are all very knowledgeable here (being coffee masters). I love coming here when it's time to use my free rewards because they offer things that regular Starbucks don't have including the Siphon experience and their cold brew malt (our favorite). It's a clean well kept store but it does get super packed. The outdoor seating is nice as well. I wouldn't come here to really study more of just a meet up spot to talk and drink some cool "Atarbcks reserve" drinks.

    Ask the Community - Starbucks

Does anyone know what happened to the order ahead feature for this location?

Why did they remove all of the electrical outlets?

    Outlets are back.

When is this store going to reopen? They sure are taking their sweet ass time.

The store is now re-opened! It took a while to get town permits to re-open.

Why did it close? My favorite Starbucks.

Someone drove their Tesla into it. No injuries, luckily.

Anyone know when it will reopen?

    Hopefully by July

Is this the Starbucks the Tesla drive into?

Yes. Exactly one day after I was there. Recently remodeled, too.

When I asked why the tables weren't being cleaned, I was given a sour look, as if it were my responsibility. The cakes taste old and stale. I genuinely don't understand why the owner allows her staff to treat customers this way simply because of the language they speak. Personal opinions or biases have no place in customer service.

We had to see if they had any, and luckily there was exactly one left! We bought it to have for breakfast the next morning. I'll admit, I was a little nervous because it was packaged in a bag and I wasn't sure how well it would hold up overnight. But the next morning, we basically fought over who was going to get the biggest piece. It was still flaky and delicious, and there was chocolate in every bite. The chocolate was in strips through the middle rather than spread throughout the entire pastry, but there was still enough that we never had a bite without chocolate. It ended up being such a sweet way to start our last day in town. They had so many other pastries and desserts that looked absolutely amazing, but we had just eaten lunch and knew we were heading back out for the day, so we didn't want to risk buying something that might melt in the car.
