I wish I could give negative stars. I took my two daughters, 5 and 7 with me for a coffee date. I have amazing experiences at every Starbucks. But this Starbucks is consistent in providing terrible experiences. We ordered our drinks at 10:27am. I'm writing this at 11:07. The drinks are still not ready. About 15 minutes ago, I went back into the line to check on my drink and I was told that the sticker machine broke down about 30 minutes prior. Having two girls, who were finally losing their patience, I initially cancelled the order and then said I'd take it. No apology or real empathy, but she led with a refund. But we had a promise if the drinking getting done Another 15 minutes later, I have my drink. It had whip cream which I asked to not have. Another 5 minutes for my daughters. Given I visit this place so often -- I'm sure there has to be a reason, right? Yep. True, I am an Apple-loving Starbucks chugging wild-haired guy with the graduate degree in Marketing (I loves me some clever commercials, products, etc.) so a natural bias for this place may be implied -- buuut not all Starbucks are created equal. What does this particular location have going for it? Coffee. Lots of it. I have never walked in and been denied my caffeinated beverage of choice. Additionally: - Nice staff that remembers your face, and most times, your order. Mine...less often, since I change it up sometimes, but they have gotten to the point where they make an educated guess based upon my clothing (pre-gym = hot coffee or a triple latte, post-gym = iced coffee or iced latte) and whether or not I am toting my laptop (yes -- coffee with infinite refills) and/or the weather (hot = cold drinks, cold = hot drinks, pretty standard.) - Drive Thru! Oh how I enjoy that convenience when the weather is, how you say, très mauvais. - Seats! Nice array of comfy seats, bar stools for parking lot lookin', and tables for actually getting work done. I've never had to wait for a seat, the bathrooms are always clean, and they consistently put COFFEE IN MY FACE. Super fast (and accurate) service, and they do a great job of ignoring the fact that I consistently use expired gold card coupons (I travel a lot so they tend to accumulate..) Probably the slowest SB on the planet. Like ridiculously, painfully slow. Drive thru line is always wrapped around the building, inside isn't any faster, neither is mobile. If they didn't have a drivethru, I imagine the business would be a lot lower. This location takes a corporate chain's attempt at creating a nice little coffee shop, and adds the oh-to-common Manchester, CT feel. (Terrible traffic/parking, and the place is often loud and the opposite of the charming or relaxing feel you'd like in a coffee shop). You'll often get served faster if you go inside instead of using the drivethru, but it's small inside and the parking is horrendous. read more

Good location, convenient to grab something before or after getting on/off highway. Parking lot is a challenge, not a lot of spaces and people don't pay attention so watch for people/cars. Going to this Starbucks location is a waste of time and money everytime I order something it's never right! I asked for half and half on the side I didn't get it when I asked the young lady for some her response was sure! N I waited and then asked again and she said she was busy I get all the way home and take a sip of my coffee( had to wait to get home because I never got half n half!) I take a sip NO CLASSIC SYRUP!! Easily my favorite Starbucks in the area. (Not that there is much competition, this is not the west coast, sadly!) Conveniently located off I-84, this Starbucks has the all important drive-thru and the service is mostly on point and friendly. However, the parking lot is a TOTAL clusterf*ck. Its very small and more than once have I seen people not follow the traffic signs. I am sure there are multiple accidents within the parking lot and on Deming Street due to the heavy traffic coupled with the moronic drivers. All in all, I will keep coming here, but just watch your left turn only and one way signs here and watch out for the violators! read more

This was my mistake for hoping that after a year of avoiding this location that maybe they had fixed the issues with poor staff and poor management. It's pouring, it's late, and I need coffee to survive the trip from Boston to New Jersey, so we stopped at this particular Starbucks. I should have known I was in for an experience when I was behind a woman in line who exclaimed this was her first time at Starbucks. I quickly ordered my beverage -- venti cinnamon dolce latte with no foam and waited. I waited 12 minutes from start to finish to be exact. All in all, this location was particular slow despite the five people working behind the counter. I'll give it two stars because of the drive-through, but I would imagine you will want to have a full tank of gas before using it based on the speed of the staff in the store. The parking lot itself is a mess and no one followed directions getting in and out. So if you have over 10 minutes to spare while waiting for a beverage and you carry comprehensive auto insurance, it's worth stopping in. If not, go somewhere else. read more

I've been to a lot of Starbucks locations, and this one is one of my least favorite, despite how much time I spend there. I like the vibe of the location as far as constant coming and going of patrons, but it's the staff that just kills me. I can't go in here without someone on the staff being loud, talking at an unnecessary decibel about something inappropriate for the workplace. Sometimes I want to just say "shhh, loudmouth, nobody cares!" Often times friends of the workers come in and hound the place with their loud talking, too. I get that it's a public coffee shop, but there are just certain types of decorum that aren't held up at this location. It bums me out. Hugely. read more

This location has gone down hill. You wait in the drive through for 20+ minutes every single time, even longer majority of the time!! I'll never understand why it takes just as much time when there's less cars in the drive-through. Half of the time I pull up to window and there all just talking in there! Do you detect a trend in these reviews? The customer service (or lack thereof) sucks & I will never be back. I've been here a half dozen times or so & each time I felt like the employees run the place on their terms, but my experience today takes the cake. There were about 7 or 8 cars backed up, but things seemed to be moving along at a reasonable pace. In the interest of killing time & cleaning out some spare change I counted out 73 cents in coins. I handed the dumpy guy at the drive thru a five dollar bill along with the coins to which he responded with a look that I perceived as a disgust & an impatient sigh. He closed the window as I noticed he had no dollar bills, but just a small amount of change in his tip jar. I came to realize why he was earning so little tips when he opened the window to inform me that he "can't count out all this change" as he reached in my car to give it back to me. I asked why & he said "it's too busy." I told him it's exactly 73 cents as he dropped a coin on the pavement, to which he responded "what do you want to do?" I told him to just take it out of the $5 bill as I accepted the 72 cents. I waited patiently for the change from the five having decided that I would not leave him the dollar that he'd have gotten if he'd only taken the change I was trying to get rid of. I know that my complaint might seem petty, but think about it; have you ever had anyone refuse change from you at the point of purchase? And you know the old saying sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it? This store needs a real manager that has some training skills to train the proper way to serve customers. Whether that happens in the future or not I'll never know because I will not darken their doors or drive through window again. Get it together Starbucks corporate & fix what's broken! read more

Drive-thru can take 20+ minutes at times (3 cars haven't ordered, and 5 more around the corner that already ordered) and the inside is just unorganized with two employees on the drive-thru, a cashier, one barista, and 2 to 10 floaters just getting in the way. read more

Some times I don't come for the coffee, it's the tastey lil cherry tart pies. Sometimes I buy them out, cuz they are Sooo delish delish delish. I could do with it the sugar on the edge of the tastey lil pies.. I also love the lil doughnuts. Paired with a latte, or a green tea frap, or a salted caramel hot coco... to die for. Star bucks are all the same as far as it interior, and some times you get a good barista or a bad one.go figure read more
