I have been getting 5 venti fraps for multiple weeks on Friday. Recently a slim guy(Jack?) told me, if I was able to, to come in and wait, if a car came in the drive thru behind me. A car did, so I came in to wait, although I have a condition that causes me pain w walking. I understood he was stressed to keep the line flowing. Now, I go to another site where they don't blink at my order. A car pulled up behind me, so they asked me to park in front of the store, and brought my order to me w no fuss. We came here to get a couple of chai tea lattes. R ordered ahead using the mobile app, and the order was for us to pick up inside the store. Parking was plentiful in the free parking lot that was physically close to Starbucks. The drive thru line was long, and it didn't look like the cars in line were moving very quickly. It seemed like the customers who walked inside to order and wait for their orders got their orders quicker than the customers who went through the drive thru. We got our lattes after a few minutes of waiting and went outside to drink them at one of the tables outside, since customers were not allowed to site at any of the tables inside the store. This was too bad because the music playing inside were upbeat popular songs and there weren't any speakers outside, so there wasn't any music to listen to while we were outside. They almost never get your order right- guaranteed! Almost everytime I go my order is wrong, and the service is slow especially if you order food. The employees also seem like they hate their lives and it is not pleasant to be inside. Once the employees were literally yelling at each other and it was so awkward and uncomfortable to be around. I've worked in this area for 10 years and this is usually my local friendly Starbucks. Not sure what happened today but the woman at the drive thru named Sarah was extremely rude. I orders a iced caramel macchiato with sweet cream cold foam. When I got my order I didn't see any cold foam in the cup. She told me it has already melted to the bottom. I told her I didn't want it at the bottom and handed it back to her. Well she slammed it down and yelled for someone to make it again. As you can see in the picture it's been 5 mins since the drink was made and it hasn't melted to the bottom. However the woman with glasses taking the money was so sweet, helpful and kept apologizing and telling me how much they valued me as a customer. They need more employees like her. read more

I can always appreciate when a Starbucks has a drive-thru like this store has in East Cobb. This popular Starbucks is located in its own long, rectangular, standalone building at the Woodlawn Square shopping center (same shopping center as The Fresh Market) on Johnson Ferry Road. We pulled into the drive-thru on a busy Sunday afternoon and ordered two espresso-based drinks: a tall (12oz) Flat White and a venti iced (26oz) Caramel Macchiato. These two drinks worked out to $9 and change. The Flat White is a relatively new drink to Starbucks' menu. It debuted in 2015. I'm no coffee hipster, but I did learn of the Flat White's Australian/New Zealand roots. It's like a latte with less milk and more espresso I've been told. Two shots of espresso were in the tall Flat White. Starbucks touts the "microfoam," but it pretty much tastes like a creamier cappucino to me. Not bad. The Caramel Macchiato is one of my favorites and the venti had me wired through the night. No more venti Caramel Macchiatos for me even through they're sweet and delicious. I have to downsize due to my sensitivity to caffeine. In Starbucks' iced version, the Caramel Macchiato is served looking like it's half steamed milk and half espresso (mix yourself). In addition to the drive-thru, this Starbucks has both indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is adjacent to the drive-thru lane. A row of hedges separates the patio from the drive-thru lane to help with patron privacy and perhaps vehicle noise/exhaust. I thought the service here was good. No problems. read more

We used to stop at this location every weekend on the way to our kids soccer games. Every other order has been wrong and when we go back to get it fixed they are unapologetic and rude. Additionally they've offered free drinks that we've tried to redeem and they've declined them. I have stopped at this location weekly for the past year and have noticed there has been a decline in their level of service. The employees have all been pleasant but it is the quality that leaves more to be desired. The drive-thru wait has gotten very long, even with short lines. Food is served cold about 50% of the time. Today I ordered a venti latte. They handed me a grande and when I gave it back and told them I ordered a venti I'm pretty sure they just poured the coffee into a venti cup and filled it to the top with whip cream. Our usual Starbucks at 2424 Roswell Road, which I give 5 stars for its management and wonderful, friendly staff, doesn't open early enough on Sundays for our schedule. My husband and I go to the river by first light to take photographs, so I arrived at this Starbucks at 6:03 to give my order since my app for some reason won't allow me to do online orders. I was ignored for the first 4 minutes after entering the store. The three employees kept their heads down and didn't even look at me. Finally, one begrudgingly took my order, but they were busy opening the store and fulfilling online orders for CUSTOMERS WHO WEREN'T even there yet. Two drive thrus came through and were promptly served. Meanwhile it was already 6:15 and no one had started on my drinks. Finally, one of the three made my drink and then left to go to the back. I started getting impatient, because this was ridiculous. They continued making 15 lemonades that they were chattering about. Finally, a second woman made my husband's drink and we were finally in the car at 6:20. Kevin took a sip and his sugar free vanilla almond milk latte had no vanilla in it, but by that time we simply went on to the river, knowing that we'd never return to this lame location. This is my favorite Starbucks location in the area. The service here is always good and has been consistent. This is evidenced by the volume of people you will see here. However, the wait is never overly long. My wife and I will use the drive-thru most weekday evenings with our dog and the staff is always friendly. Extra special shout out to Christian, Paige, and Sara who always go over and above to make sure our drinks are right - we actually pass another Starbucks on the way to this one because these guys just make the drinks better. read more

A little sentimental. This location went up shortly after I graduated high school, but still a neighborhood busy spot. Still so new and shiny and clean. Eventually this became a good meeting spot too as I interviewed wedding photographers here. Why am I telling you about my nostalgia? I have been going to this location recently and they have never let me down. When it's slow, when it's busy, and when it's anything in between, they have made my order right every time. The store is clean every time I come in. The tables, chairs, floors, and the comfy seats in the back are all kept clean. Even when it is busy. Every employee here are great. Every person I have met on the register is informative and friendly. They care about the service. The people working with the equipment are attentive on the orders coming in. This location is very convenient on my way in to work, so I'm a regular here. Yes, the drive through can get very long and yes I have waited 15-20 minutes before - during the morning traffic rush. Not often but it does happen since this location is very popular. If you're not willing to wait, come before the rush OR put in a mobile order and walk inside to pick it up. That's what I do now and it works really great. The staff are always friendly and sweet to me - have never encountered a rude employee here... but I also make a point to never be rude or condescending to service staff either. This Starbucks is located in the chickfila shopping center near common quarter. It's facility is clean and seems to always be busy. I'm less than impressed with service here on most occasions but today I am definitely disappointed. I waited in my car 20 minutes for this location to open because I didn't want to get Dunkin doughnuts (which was right up the street and open) for the corporate meeting my job was hosting. I arrive shortly after open and order a traveler size of blonde roast. The young lady that took my order told another young lady behind the counter what I had ordered and she rudely replied out loud "SERIOUSLY?" As I stood a few feet away. I understand it's early and people are tired, but if you don't want sales or to make coffee, maybe you should be in a different industry. I've been here a few times now and I haven't had an issue. Most of my visits have been mid morning around 10 or 11am. The staff has been extremely friendly and accurate on the orders whether it is in drive through or in the store. I have even witnessed them being asked questions and have felt their answers to be accurate based off of their menus. I honestly can't think of a bad Starbucks experience ever and this store certainly lived up to its expectations. It gets 4 stars mostly because of the parking.
