Rude customer service. Walked in wrong direction and had a rude attitude in telling us to go the other way. Did not have change which is fine but wouldn't even let us pay with cash and keep the 15 cents change! Also gave us the wrong sized lid for our Frappuccino. It spilled all over me in the car! I've gave this place many tries and they always fail me I spend $6.00 or more at times and my drinks are always awful! I'm always like oh maybe it's a new person but day after day my drinks are disgusting . Good employee very nice people great attitudes just don't like there drinks. Stopped at the Starbucks on the way to Monterey. The staff was friendly and filled my order quickly. The coffee and bagel were good. The tables were dirty and so was most of the Coffee shop. Will not be stopping there again. It was a run down Building that need to be painted inside and out. read more

The shop is small. Their staff is friendly. The coffee is consistent Starbuck (both is flavor and price), The ambience is good and the Wi fi is reliable. If the parking lot is full (often) count on getting your coffee "to go" especially if you are not alone. The Outside Seating is NOT a good option ... the traffic (and wind) make it unpleasant. Best times for an inside table is late morning and late afternoon. Wish they were open until 11 PM (or even 10 PM).even if only on Fridays and Saturdays. The parking is not good but it isn't awful. I have always found a space for my car but frequently have had to drag my butt back to the car and down to the beach - not a bad option. read more

I visited this Starbucks around 5:30pm-6pm on Wednesday, the 30th. I work for Starbucks and am seldom impressed or satisfied with the way other baristas make drinks. I ordered the Caramelized Honey Latte and was so impressed with how spot on the (female) barista made my drink. 1. She prepared the drink EXACTLY as the ingredient card says to- didn't miss a single part of it. And 2. She listened to my customizations and didn't give me anything less than specifically what I asked for. I take pride in what I do as a barista, because let's be honest....our job is what we do for the majority of our day, why not take pride in it and love it, and I (sadly) see many baristas fail to put much effort into their service, so... In seeing how exact and precise she prepared my drink when she thought no one was watching, makes me happy. This is probably the first experience in 4 years with Starbucks that another barista has impressed me with their work standard. ...I'm going to mention that I visited this store today (3.31.2016) and the gentleman that made my drink (same thing) did not do the exact steps as the ingredient card lists. (Don't get me wrong, the drink was fine, but not to the same standard as the one before- it's almost like putting a little love into it, ya know?) I hope the manager of this store is able to read this and acknowledge her. read more

Been here many times, but probably won't be coming back until they move to a better location. It's too small inside for the business they do. The parking lot is TERRIBLE! Also, too small for the amount of business they do. The service is average, but sufficient. The product is typical Starbucks. I really hope someone decides to open a tea house in Marina, soon. It's difficult to say at which level of management there is a problem... I understand completely why customers have issues with wait times, but would not be blaming employees after what I saw today. I have actually been at this location when "corporate" people were there supposedly to look at the issue of expansion. But leaving only two employees to battle a high volume promotion (half price frappacinos) is completely unfair to those workers. Oh, by the way, my drink was PERFECT. read more

Kind of a weird location. Ive been to this location a total of 4 times and each time they have messed up my order. I never tell them though because I dont want to bother but I do end up enjoying the drink they give me. They should rename it to Surprise Starbucks... I never know what i'm going to get! I usually love the Starbucks people in my area, and used to go to this one all of the time when I lived in marina. I have recently visited this one regularly again the past two weeks and I have to say, it's left me not wanting to return. I ask for my drink shaken, every time, because a cold drink is better shaken in my opinion. The girl with the super short hair with the long tendrils in the front NEVER shakes it. I work from home often and have had a few issues where i've been stuck without internet. So, a few times, I've hung out in this Starbucks for like 6 hours like a dork, constantly refilling my tea so I'm not too much of a waste of space. The staff is always super friendly and I've even gotten completely free refills a few times which was a super nice gesture. They never pester me about taking up their (limited) space and it's always super clean and pleasant. read more

One of the staff there his name is Paul is so rude. My 12 year old son and i went inside the store, no staff in the counter for a few seconds, then Paul approached and asked for my order when i was ordering my son who was coming in the store with his scooter on his side, pulling it slowly, then all of sudden this Paul said to my son " young man, the next time i see you riding that scooter , i will kick you out!. Me and my son were shocked because we didn't know that it is not allowed and if its not, he could have said it then my son will take it outside, he could have been polite especially when he is talking to the customers and children. read more

Really bad parking lot situation. Small lot for a starbucks. The cashier was not very knowledgeable and I felt brushed off during the morning rush. The typical overpriced sugary drinks.
