The shop shares a space with a Chevron gas station, and it doesn't have its own restroom. When I asked, I was told to use the Chevron bathroom, which felt unusual for a tea shop. The café also isn't the most comfortable place to hang out. I stopped by during a heat wave once and decided to stay for a bit, but it was still hot inside. I don't think the A/C was running, so I ended up leaving sooner than I planned. I could see myself grabbing a drink to go if I were already stopping for gas or just happened to be driving by. But personally, I'd rather drive a few minutes down the street to Barber Lane, where there are several other tea shops with better drinks and a more comfortable atmosphere. I can also do my grocery shopping while I'm there, so it's a much more convenient stop overall.

Their ice teazers/blended ice drinks are quite smooth and fluffy tasting slushies! They have a list of top 10 flavors & recommendations, but I'd really just get whatever flavor you typically like. I purchased a box of their genmaicha satchels and found it to be a little less potent than I prefer, but it's definitely better than some other genmaicha brands I've tried. However, once mixed in with the strawberry puree and oat milk, the strawberry puree did mask the matcha flavor. However, it was still a good and yummy drink! The strawberry puree tasted unique too, but I don't know how to put the taste into words so you're just gonna have to try it for yourself :)) We also tried the genmaicha tea, and it tasted like faan ziu to me, but I love faan ziu so I liked it! The sandwich tasted better than it looked, and I couldn't tell the difference between the turkey sausage it came with and the savory flavor of pork breakfast sausage which I typically prefer, so that worked in my favor. One thing I appreciated was the large screen that shows the status of your order, so you always know where you are in the queue. Our drinks took a little over 10 minutes, but they were worth the wait. The brown sugar flavor was rich and delicious without being overly sweet. The boba had a nice chew to it, slightly firmer than I personally prefer, but still very good. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cup size. It's comparable to some of my favorite boba spots, yet comes at a more affordable price. With so many great places to eat in this shopping center, I know we'll be back, and this will definitely be one of our regular stops whenever we're in the area.
