Went here for a little afternoon pick me up plus my son has never tried a hot chocolate. Drive through moved along at a good pace and all of our drinks were great. I have to say--this location always makes the best salted caramel cold brew. I have had it from other places and it never quite tastes as good as when this one makes them. I like that the service was a bit more laidback on this occasion. I recall a few months back when they seemed extra pushy about upgrading sizes and ordering more so it made me happy not to experience that on this visit. Starbucks at the Moreno Beach location really needs to improve their customer service. Money is money. I'm sure Starbucks corporate deposits quarters, dimes, and nickels at the bank just the same as dollar bills. So it's disappointing when employees make customers feel uncomfortable for paying with change. My granddaughter recently earned some money helping her great-grandparent clean. She was paid in quarters, and she was proud and excited to use the money she worked for to buy herself a drink. Unfortunately, when she went to this Starbucks today, two employees were clearly annoyed that she was paying with change. They made rude faces and treated her in a way that made her feel embarrassed. No child--or anyone--should be made to feel bad for honestly paying with the money they earned. A little kindness and professionalism would go a long way. I hope management provides better customer service training so situations like this don't happen again. read more

There could "literally " be 3 cars in the drive thru and it will still take you 20 minutes to get out. There is absolutely no seating in or outside patio. I believe it is important for you to be aware of the unprofessional behavior I witnessed from one of your employees, named Kim. As an employee of Riverside County, dressed in my uniform, I visited the store with a colleague. We placed an order for two drinks, and upon receiving them, I noticed that one of the drinks was not prepared in the size I had requested. I politely approached the barista and asked if she could make the necessary correction. She then consulted with Kim, who assured her that it would be taken care of. However, when I was called to pick up my order by Kim, I kindly explained that I had asked for a Venti size, not the one provided. Additionally, my colleague had requested a hot coffee, but was given a cold one. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Kim spoke to us in a loud and rude manner, insisting that the coffee my colleague ordered could not be served hot. Despite my colleague's assurance that she had ordered it hot before, Kim refused to accommodate her request. To my surprise, Kim turned to me and abruptly stated that I should have specified a Venti size, as if I had not done so initially. She then instructed the employee at the register to charge us for the new drinks, despite the fact that we had already paid for our initial order. This resulted in an additional charge of $15.70, and we were given back our change from the previous order. When my colleague asked if Kim was the manager, she replied with a sarcastic remark, stating that she was not but offered to speak to the manager if we wished. Although my colleague declined, it was evident that Kim's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, not only towards us but also towards her own employees. As a loyal customer who frequently visits Starbucks, I have never experienced such treatment at any of your stores. Went through drive-thru and instead of letting us drive up to the menu, the employee insisted he suggest a few drinks for us. It felt rushed and I was extremely confused by his suggestions. On 5/3/25, I went to the Moreno Beach store in Moreno Valley CA (12751 Moreno Beach Dr, Moreno Valley, CA 92555), to order a medium coffee and a bagel. Eddie was the clerk. I asked him for a receipt. He opened the machine and said oh there's no paper in there, and he opened the other machine sitting next to the other register, the same thing. He said I can't give you a receipt. I said I need a receipt, he said, well I can't give you one. I proceeded to request a refund on my order. I paid cash and when he got ready to give me the money back, he threw it down on the counter and walked away. I said, I didn't hand you the money like that, so next time you need to show the customer some respect. This is the not the first time I have had an issue with getting a receipt at this store and I have never had an issue at any other Starbucks store. Eddie needs some customer training and Starbucks needs to be able to give customers receipts upon request. If I could give this particular store a minus zero rating, I would. This particular store has the worst customer service in this area. read more

This is the probably the worst Starbucks experience ever. Used the drive through here for a double espresso, another coffee and some pastries. I asked for some sugar and opened my coffee. The double espresso was like 5ml of coffee. When I asked the lady named Kim at drive through if this is a double espresso, meaning they made a mistake the response was you ordered to shots "expresso" these are two shots you ordered, do you want anything else? I said no thanks and before I could say anything else, she just shut the window. Forget about the sugar, I had the feeling if I go back and ask for it she would punch me. Do not stop here. It's not about the lines inside or the cars outside it's all about the quality of the drink that you want. There may be better coffee joints out there but this place is doing just fine for me. Do we pay $3 or $5 or just 75 cents for a senior coffee at Mc Donald's. It doesn't matter as long as you get what you want. The taste is always the most important thing that we look for, some of us like that special imported brand of beans that cost $100 lb or higher. Does it really taste better?
