This Starbucks is located on Harding Pike in the Kroger Shopping plaza that also plays host to a local Pho spot, Office Depot, a Mexican joint and a few professional offices. First thing to know about this location is that there is not a drive thru, so plan accordingly. However, the next best thing, mobile ordering, is readily available here and 100% the way to go. This location is one large square room that is decorated like most updated Starbucks and includes some local flare on the focal wall that sits behind the built in benches. Overall, I have never had an issues with this location. The lines can get pretty long and the staff don't interact too much, but they are slinging drinks like no other, so I don't hold that against them. read more

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, the service was prompt, the interior is relatively spacious with a good number of tables, and the bathrooms were surprisingly clean. They have free wifi internet, though it wasn't especially fast (it tested at about 10Mbps for me). There are also a decent number of power outlets available in some areas. I hung out for a couple of hours getting some work done, and it was totally pleasant. Probably one of the better SBUX experiences I've had in while. Huge seating area for working or chatting, plus some outdoor patio spots as well. They blasted through the lines and got everyone's coffee, from what I saw, within 2-3 minutes including my drink. A couple things to watch out for; this location is close to a few college campus' so study groups might take over the longer tables and expect dirty looks from the older folks. Not sure why, but almost everyone person over 50 gave me the stink eye. No drive-thru, but they're killing online and app pre-order game here. read more

A ton of seating and is this place ever popular with younger and older. It before noon on a Tuesday and there are people doing business, computer time, chatting, reading, and even some knitting time. I stopped by at this Starbucks location while on the go to work. They are stationed right next to the Kroger in Belle Meade making it hard to miss, great parking right out front. I like to be adventurous in my Starbucks order and went with the nitro cold brew with sweet cream...it wasn't necessarily my favorite. It wasn't hot or cold, just a weird in between, and didn't have much flavor either. The egg bites were also just okay, but didn't taste very fresh. This was my first time ordering from this Starbucks. I ordered my usual Chai tea latte with oatmilk I get oatmilk as I'm lactose intolerant. I was on my way to work so I made a mobile order which was ready as soon as I got there. My only problem is, is that I believe my order was made with normal milk. I took a big sip and could instantly tell it wasn't oatmilk. It only took about 15 minutes, the moment I arrived at work, for my stomach to begin cramping. More than once I have walked to this Starbucks on an impulse because it is in the same shopping center as Kroger. Who doesn't need a delicious coffee treat after a long grocery trip?? This is a big open Starbucks inside with good outdoor seating (though it overlooks a giant parking lot) and no drive thru. They always get out my coffee quickly, and have plenty of parking which is nice compared to some of their other West Nashville locations. I don't typically hang out at this Starbucks; this is more a stop in when I'm on my way home with groceries, but might be tempted by their cozy leather seats next time! :) read more

This is basically the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I'm not a daily Starbucks type of person, more of a "when I really need it and my much preferred local coffee joints are closed/out of my way" type of Starbucks person... All that to say it's maybe once every three months that I come here because it's my local location. Every single time I'm here it takes forever to order/get my drink.. it's like the employees are always rushed and/or distracted. They always seem to want to argue with each other about who is going to make the drink. Recently, somebody took my order, went to the back and didn't come back out for over three minutes, I then stood there for another two minutes before I finally said something and all he said was that he thought the other girl was going to do it... However in the entire five or six minutes I had been there I never saw a single other girl and it was obvious no one was making my drink and I was just standing there waiting. It took over ten minutes to get a quad espresso and there was no one else in line before or after me. Most experiences I've had here are similar to this one. I brought my own cup last time, informed her it was 16oz (their grande size) and the girl working actually said "can I just put it in one of our cups because I can't ever get it right if I don't." The guy who was at the front was having a bad day. I just got two waters around 7pm, so it wasn't busy at all. He just acted like he was having a crappy day and didn't want to deal with customers. Okay, I get it. So I left a tip anyways. But when I got my water, one had a long light brownish gold hair, I thought it was from the girl who got the waters. I have been coming to this Starbucks at least three days a week for the past three years. What I have walked away with, besides an exorbitantly large coffee bill and a caffeine addiction, is the gratification of consistency. The staff here is great & super friendly -- it's awfully nice to walk in, be greeted by your name, and to not have to order your drink half of the time since they've got it memorized (I work nearby and most everyone in my office frequents this location and I am not the only one who has this experience. It's always amazing to me how well they keep track of their customers' wants). The other great thing about this location is how quickly they move. The line can be backed up to the door (as it often is...) and they can plow through it in a matter of minutes. One of the largest Starbucks in town. Therefore has more space for added extras in food and coffee extras and seating. Service has always been friendly. Seating at tables, round tables, lounge like chairs, at a bar looking out to West End/Harding and outdoor seating. Many meetings have been held in this Starbucks. Parking is shared with the strip mall but always a place to be found. Early am coffee drinkers are moved along nicely, so one doesn't feel like, "Oh Snap, I should have skipped coffee this am". The milk and sugar station remains filled and tidy and the tables and bar are clean. One of the top Starbucks in town due to size and hospitality combined. Others also have great quality service, but not the space. Close to many other places, Grocery, Liguor store, Mexican, Sushi, Sandwich place, Office store and Drug store AND close to 40 and 440. This was my first time visiting this location and I already wish I lived close by to it. We came at 6:30am and they have been non stop busy since we got here (its now 7:30). They keep the line going fast and have a great routine going on behind the counter and get the drinks out fast. I'm impressed and again, really wish this was the Starbucks in my neighbrhood or even my town. Deborah is very kind and makes a point to make conversation with customers while working very obviously hard behind the counter. Andrew is also nice as we sit at the counter he makes sure to make conversation with us and others while working. This is the best Starbucks in Nashville. The location is really large with plenty of seating. The best thing about it is the staffing. They really seem to enjoy their job and its consistently an enjoyable experience. The baristas always know me by name and know my drink order. The only reason I am giving this 4 and not 5 stars is because of how busy this location gets. Sometimes when you plan to "dine in" it is hard to find a seat. The wifi is also slower when there are more people inside. The staff is great! They really enhance the experience and you can tell they love their jobs (or they are great actors.) They really make it a personal experience from the cashiers, to the people who make your favorite beverage. Sometimes, however, I do find it frustrating when they only have one cash register going and there are tons of people waiting in line. Whoa buddy, as a service professional myself it takes a lot to get me to write a terrible review, but I feel it would be in the best interest of this location to lend some constructive criticism . I have been to this location three times in the last couple weeks between, 1:30 and 4 on varying weekdays and each time I have tried to be patient and left frustrated, this last time without drink in hand. First off, let me start off with saying the DMV has more awareness, sensitivity, and consideration for its patrons time. There is always one person taking orders, one person making a bunch of drinks and two people just kinda standing around bouncing between doing sidework and playing with their phones/ making idle banter with one another. I understand people are trying to go home, but there are paying customers that could be receiving their orders and be on their way much quicker with very little time diverted from their responsibilities. This last time, I went knowing I was rolling the dice, I even budgeted extra time and planned to walk over to Office Depot while my drink was being prepared, because frankly, spending 8 minutes watching a single employee bust ass knocking out a queue of Frappacinos while two other dormant employees just stand there unbothered to pour my Iced Green Tea into a cup gives me anxiety. When I arrived, there was only one person ahead of me, unfortunately this person had seemed to never have been to a Starbucks before, while I admire the employee doing the hospitable thing and taking his time to answer questions and engage with the guest, this whole interaction lasted atleast 6 minutes as it began before I walked in and still was going on after I decided to walk out, certainly there could have been some sort of attempt by the employee just standing behind the counter rubbing his belly, who noticed my frustration and chose not to care and instead engaged with the conversation that had then became non Starbucks related. I am going to go ahead and assume and hope in all that is good in this world the second register was closed, but a nod of concern would have done wonders. I can see how 6 minutes doesn't seem like a lot of time, but is a really long time to not be acknowledged when you are working in a time constraint and there is more than enough staff to afford the attention. I understand it's a corporate job, and it is not in the job description to be passionate about hospitality, but it is not a nice feeling to stand there knowing the people in charge of my experience do not give a shit, and do not value me, my money, or my time. It's a Starbucks in Belle Meade, and therefore it will always be profitable and busy, there is a built in loyal customer base and they could spit in every single drink and people will still come back out of necessity. I am just saddened that this location takes advantage of that instead of striving for excellence and dedicating themselves to efficiency, it is a real waste of potential. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee, but since its basically across the street from where I live, it makes it very convenient when I need my caffeine fix.
