Pretty average SB compared to other locations, maybe a bit more spacious since it has some seating versus none at some to-go only spots. Located on the corner of 77th and Lexington it's on the block of the 6 train subway stop, it's a convenient intersection so they have a good amount of traffic so take that into consideration during peak hours. Inside there's a larger table that seats 7-8 people and seating along the front and window ledges as well. I ordered via the app and picked up at the ordering counter in about 6-7 minutes on a cloudy/drizzly Saturday afternoon. Didn't have much interaction with the staff though the times I've stopped at this location the staff has been courteous. Haven't used the bathroom so can't comment on that. read more

Just stopped in here quickly to get a bite before meeting up with a friend - they had my fave snack aka their strawberry overnight grains (vegan, btw!) which I hadn't had in FOREVER & find so oddly refreshing. For some deets on that amazingness: oatmeal, quinoa & chia seeds, plus shaved coconut, strawberries (obv) & toasted almonds. This was a pretty standard Starbucks overall - kinda small, I was able to use their bathroom, they were checking vax cards if you weren't wearing a mask. But what really made me smile was the "Help make someone smile" board for their 50th anny - they had post-it notes & sharpies out so you could write a note & add it to the board. How cute!! I took my pic before I wrote my note for some reason but I think I added something along the lines of "Some days, the most productive choice we make is to *enjoy life*!" I stopped by to pick up my mobile order which was already prepared and ready for me. The customer service was very pleasant and my entire visit went without a problem. Apparently this is a brand new Starbucks so if your order isn't made to perfection it's not the end of the world just ask to get it fixed. Most Starbucks locations are just OK as the majority are the same. This is actually one of the better ones. Really nice layout and design. Plenty of seating once everyone is allowed back inside after the pandemic restrictions. Lots of merchandise on the shelves and in baskets. Wifi and outlets. Friendly service. I'll be back! read more

I ordered a free water. I understand water is not on their time priority list of orders but I remember waiting for 5 minutes and seeing my water on the counter with my name on it, just sitting there. I let my self-consciousness drive me and refused to ask for the water, because I thought maybe there was another person with my same name. 10 minutes later and the water is still sitting there and I have to leave to go back to work. I end up being dehydrated as the water in my work tastes disgusting and I drank my first bottle. It's not my fault I have no money and it's 90 degrees outside. Do better. read more

Starbucks is reintroducing itself to the Lenox Hill section of the Upper East Side. At a glance, the Starbucks is just like any other, if a little less comfortable. The chairs are mostly wood and the creature comforts are a little less than what I would expect. In its defense, the Starbucks this establishment essentially replaced on Lexington and 78th was relatively Spartan as well. The place is kind of busy but I did catch some overflowing trash. I'm hoping that the trash situation will sort itself as the staff gets more experienced. The Starbucks does have offer some really cool looking mugs. There are also fancy sandwich to go options. I think though in terms of bakery items, Starbucks will need to offer more enticing choices than a few sorry looking cookies with legendary pick a bagel situated across the street. In terms of convenience, this location is directly across the street from Lenox Hill Hospital and immediately above the 77th Street 6 train station, on the uptown side. read more

I ordered for mobile pick up today and spent $7.19 for a coffee and hoping I will get what I paid for. Of course, I did not get what I wanted. I ordered a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with a splash of milk and caramel drizzle and light vanilla sweet cream cold foam, WHOEVER is making drinks in the morning (between opening time up to 10 AM), is WACK. Always messing up! How could you just give me a straight cold brew with regular cold foam and paid $7.19? If I wasn't only busy at that time at work, I'd have went back here and ask them to remake my drink. 2 hours prior to closing, I was in need of a quick caffeine pick me up from getting off a very crowded subway from a fun filled yankee game with my sister (yankees won) order a very simple tall java chip frap that took a long time, with two other ladies who happens to be nurses in the nearby hospital waiting for their orders in front of me. While TJ was merrily flirting and talking to a girl! I've been in this store so many times and I was very dissatisfied with how TJ (barista) comfortably chatting non stop while customer wait for drinks. Not cool! read more

Inconsistent quality of beverages. I have had multiple encounters when the barista did not know how to make a certain cold brew drink. Mobile orders don't mean anything at this location. Customers often wait much longer than expected for their mobile orders to be ready when there isn't even a long line in the store. Unacceptable. read more

The staff making the drinks here treat you like shit. Ten minutes after I ordered my espresso I hadn't received it yet, so I nicely asked a lady making drinks behind the counter if she had an order for my name. She essentially told me to fuck off and said I'm not making drinks even though that's what she literally was doing. I then asked the next staff named Ramen and he said "yeah I put that order out ten minutes ago", which I responded it's not there and someone obviously took it. He then proceeded to give me attitude and shake his head as if it's my fault someone stole my drink. If you want to be treated like shit by the employee come here! read more

i am sure that starbucks is taking a beating money wise by having the majority of its places closed and the ones that are open its only order via the app and pick up where a starbucks worker with little or no personality stands behind the door by a table with your order ready to pick up. the only 3 drinks i like from buckys is the cappys, frappe , and english tea, the rest not that much. this lexington ave starbucks on 77th st seems to be a popular one as i notice about 8 upper east side yuppies coming and going grabbing cups of venti or what other fancy names is given for cup sizes . no big deal but good enough for 3 stars. read more

Just have to say I've been to so many Starbucks and I've never met a barista like the one I met today. Ashley was so amazing! Coming into Starbucks today having the worst morning to have that all turned around. First she is so welcoming and friendly to each customer she encounters. She noticed I had been waiting a long while and made sure it was taking care of promptly. I overheard her speaking with another customer about loving the people she meets while being on the job. That is an employee I would want working at my store for sure. I am thankful I walked into this certain Starbucks today to have encountered such a beautiful soul. I will NEVER visit this Starbucks again. Every single employee is always extremely rude. Every single time my order is wrong, I confront them and get an attitude. I order here every day and sometimes even twice a day. My husband ordered my usual coffee and it was DISGUSTING. It was all almond milk and no shots. Team likely needs more training. Most days my mobile orders are not ready on time or wrong. Some team members have a lack of urgency. Store often dirty. No napkins. Occasionally there's a different crew (weekends) and service is better. Pleasant staff but they need to be trained. I've noticed improvement lately. read more
