Ive only come here a few times, and its good location. This store is perfectly located to run errands, or enjoy a day of strolling around the Pike and Rose area. Parking is annoying though, as street parking located directly outside the shop stays full, so you're either circling a few times, then nervously trying to hurry up parallel park so to not hold up the street traffic, or suck it up-and park in the garage, which is a bit of an annoying hike if you're making a quick stop. Overall, the customer is nice, but a bit jaded and young acting, but nothing to truly complain about. Plus, they probably come across a lot of personalities. My main go-to is iced matcha lemonade, which they have made very well (bravo), and they follow instructions. I love the decor in the shop though..my favorite out of the locations I have visited. So I enjoy the fact that this Starbucks location is in the heart of Pike N Rose but I'll be honest, I would rather go to an independent coffee shop in the area since I can always go to Starbucks elsewhere. The location is small in my opinion but very clean. The layout is interesting because your ordering/barista counter is in the center of the room where seating surrounds it. Their pastries come out warm and I enjoy the service I get from the staff. People are definitely friendly here. read more

As we left our company offsite the other night as we were walking back to the car, I noticed this Starbucks was open!!! HOORAY I was tired, but also knew that once I got back to the hotel, I wanted to get a workout in. A little fuel to keep me going. I popped in. It is a spacious, comfortable and clean store. Again, can I say they were still open at 9 pm, a huge plus! I wanted a drip coffee, but the barista was kind enough to let me know it had been a while since they brewed the last pot. He quickly offered me the option of an Americano, which I kindly accepted (I had coworkers waiting on me). As always, Starbucks great customer service. I love the aesthetic at this Starbucks. It feels so contemporary and zen compared to others. Plenty of seating and great place to study or work. It doesn't really give Starbucks feels. When I went in, there was no wait. Chris and kyana helped me out. They are the sweetest and super friendly. They recommended me what to get. I got the Potato cheddar & chive bake. Although open for walk up orders, the seating areas are still closed. The layout is a little bigger then neighboring locations with a good selection of retail products. The ready made items were fully stocked in the display case & panty holder below. Everything you expect from Starbucks with some new drinks available & some not...my new go to Iced Guava White Tea Lemonade is a not. They also carry the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich, which doesn't compliment the Vegans as it comes pre-made with egg & cheese on it. Check out the sidewalk signage for the new offerings. It was a cold night! What else do you do on a cold night while at Pike and Rose, but grab some coffee! I walked in and immediately loved the themed wall art. It was an African safari image with fake grass. I being the avid yelper snapped a picture of it and proceeded to order my hot coffee. They only had a medium roast and that was completely fine with me. I found someplace to relax while sipping my coffee and checked in online. It was very close to my yelp event and it certainly kept me warm while walking in the cold that night. read more

This is a nice new Starbucks location in Pike and Rose. The space is bigger than its older spot and also has the Reserve selection. The folks working here are friendly too and have helped me out when I have had any questions regarding the drinks or equipment. I like the Reserve beans and this is my go to location to buy the beans. They do have a nice selection of mugs and french presses that are generally not available at other regular Starbucks locations. Seating is ample and the inside decor is upscale and inviting. read more

This is a solid Starbucks location. The staff are friendly and everything I've had here is as expected. The only criticism is they could use better regular cleaning of tables. Granted there is high turnover, but most times I've been the place I sat needed at least a wipe down. read more

With COVID we've all been homebound so I hadn't been back til they relaxed the restrictions somewhat. The people here are very friendly and accommodating and they're quick to fix an issue if it arises. We like to stroll over here after dining elsewhere in P&R (usually Fogo or Jinya) and we usually get a triple espressos to go. read more

A newer, much larger and uniquely appointed Starbucks location. Ordered in line, cashier was attentive and my drink was ready within 5 minutes. No complaints other than there was quite a bit of paper trash strewn in the floor which was surprising only because there were at least three employees on the floor and it wasn't particularly busy when I walked in. read more

The newest Starbucks in the area, moving from its Rockville Pike-facing location to the center of Pike & Rose. The space itself is a big improvement in some ways but less-so in others. The much larger space and high ceilings make for a much less claustrophobic feel than the old location, but the concrete walls (which really do appeal to my design aesthetic) make for an acoustic mess, especially when loud groups of people forget (or don't care) that they're in a public space. I'm a bit puzzled as well by the choice of furnishings, with relatively few tables in favor of what I think was supposed to be more living room-type seating but feels more airporty to me. As for the offerings, you'll find everything you've come to expect from Starbucks, with a quite friendly staff behind the counter. Three stars, mostly because it's a loud and not all that comfortable space that isn't particularly relaxing or conducive to having a quiet conversation with a friend. read more

This Starbucks place is amazing! When I by accident spilled my drink they gave me a new one for free! The workers here are so nice and kind and they listen to everything I say especially this one worker who was very polite and gave me my drink really accurately. I come to this Starbucks about once a week, typically every Saturday. This is one of the nicer Starbucks in the area, and though it's not perfect, I do like coming here to work for a few hours every week. This Starbucks does tend to get fairly busy, as it's in a busy location with a lot of shopping and things to do. However, I've never had an issue finding a place to sit and work, as most people that come through don't generally sit for very long. It's also always very cold, even as I am writing this in the winter and its cold outside. Most Starbucks are generally cold so that's not really surprising, but this one literally has the air conditioning blowing on what feels like full blast on a 35-degree day. It's make for a very uncomfortable, which I guess is why people probably don't typically sit here for too long. They've never messed up my order, and the staff has always been pretty friendly, so I have no complaints about the service here. The vibe is genuinely pretty chill, though it can get loud. But as far as Starbucks go, this one is still pretty chill. Lines can get long, but like I mentioned, most people are in and out, as they're generally shopping and such. Overall, I can recommend this Starbucks as one of the better ones in the area in general. Definitely worth checking out if you're around the Rockville/North Bethesda area. read more

Exactly what this neighborhood needed. They moved from the white flint location to the heart of pike and rose. This location is bigger and better, the decor has significantly improved as has the organization of the staff when taking orders. The usual collab table has been replaced by a nice lounge/waiting area, which is now separated from the 'work area.' That's a nice change and very convenient for both parties. read more
