Very rude customer service here! I placed a mobile order for a beverage. While waiting I observed other customers being greeted and acknowledged. Not me for some reason. Even after my drink was ready they just placed it on the counter and didn't say my name or my drink but they did for others' orders! My drink was ok but poor service is enough for me to not return to a business.

Fast friendly service, cute cafe with plenty of seating. Well stocked pastry and retail area. Clean cafe and bathrooms. Plenty of parking.

If you want to go to the library to read book, go for it. For me I prefer any Starbucks to get connected while I enjoying a hot or cold brewery. This place is great, always clean, all sugar bags refilled, they recognize you, fast service. Great place. For me, I love any place that keep every corner clean, if they keep outside cleaned I'm pretty they are clean inside too. Whoever's working there they always friendly and very professionals, sometimes I think that those people should ran the government lol for real, they are really good serving the community. NOTE: these are my own opinions.

Star Bucks Coffee. Glad they sell more than coffee, because I am not a coffee drinker. This store is located inside of Barns and Nobles. Everytime I am in the Rockville area, I see this store is always packed. The staff are cool and so is the atmosphere. It is a cool place to hang bnb out once I get the smell if coffee out of my nose.

    Ice water?

Poor quality latte. I expect more from a $4+ drink. When I asked for a remake because the original tasted like water, instead of asking if the second was better they handed me the same watery latte. Won't be back.

This is a grande :( look how it's not even filled to the too :(

I end up here bc it's next to Barnes and good meeting point however the service here is...lacking. The lines are long, the baristas and cashiers look miserable here but I'd imagine with being so busy...they may be tired. What compelled me to finally write a review of this marvelous Rockville staple was my grande iced green tea which looked more like a tall ice green tea. Hah I paid a little more for an extra sip but walked out sad :(

I come here every time i visit Barnes and nobles. It's convenient and quiet to get some work done! It gets very busy and crowded. It can be hard to find sitting sometimes but people there are pretty nice. The barristers are also great and know what they are doing. I would recommend this place to anyone

Store is clean and well stocked. Wish there was more sitting geared to a bigger group but honestly ample sitting for a coffee shop. Barista was prompt and well informed of drink components and recipes. Took our order with a bright smile and cheerful tone which is always a plus. Shop is clean as well as the back bar which is something I like to consider. This location is very busy so it's hard to think of coming here to do work but a lot of folks do it so it's really not that bad. I would recommend this location over a couple in the area based off service.

Starbucks definitely has the best new flavors of coffee beverages to tempt the tired shopper into a caffeine cornucopia. It was late in the day and my friend and I wandered in to look around. The new vanilla macchiato sounded to good to pass up. We ordered our grande coffees and the pleasant barista went to work on our order. The drinks had the sweet taste of vanilla with the topping of caramel. It was sinfully sweet, hot, and comforting. We polished off our drinks and went to wander around the store. Cute mugs and delicious baked goods surrounded us in every flavor and color. We had seats in the store overlooking the parking lot. There were people working on their computers or talking with friends. We wandered into the bookstore feeling satisfied and rejuvenated. Starbucks is still the best tasting coffee for those of is who want their coffee to taste like desert.

There's a good selection of pastries and I ended up choosing a coconut cream cheese option that was pretty good and flaky. You pick your pastries from the self-serve shelves. Some items looked like they had been sitting out for a while and were a little dry, while others had just been restocked and looked much fresher. Most of the selection leans toward buttery, laminated pastries, such as croissants, Danishes, and croffles rather than baguettes or rolls. They also have fresh cakes displayed near the counter. The two pastries we had were both good and satisfying. The pain aux raisins had a moist texture with a gentle sweetness. The croffle itself was nicely buttery and delicious, although the cream on top was a bit too heavy for my taste. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and location. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the coffee was only lukewarm, which was a letdown. Parking really depends on the time and day. We were lucky to find a spot right in front, but the plaza gets busy since there are several popular stores/restaurants, so it can be competitive if you're aiming to park close by. Overall, I'm happy to have another French-inspired Asian bakery option in Rockville.

The baked goods certainly did not disappoint. While each item was packaged in its own individual box, I would have preferred everything to be packed together in a single box for convenience. **Lemon Mint Tart** - A buttery, crisp tart shell filled with tangy lemon-mint curd and topped with sweet, airy meringue. The balance of tartness and sweetness was spot on. **Pear Tart** - A buttery tart shell filled with house-made almond cream and topped with a poached Bosc pear half. Tatte has a lot of seating, however, they are so popular it often feels small when waiting in line to order. A few times I have visited I could not find a table and had to take my latte to go. If I visit outside their busier hours or I get lucky I have snagged a table and had the luxury of drinking my latte at a table inside. Despite how crowded it is inside I can always hear my friends and carry on conversation indoors easily. Occasionally it has been hard to hear when your order is ready so I definitely recommend checking in at the pickup area to make sure you get your latte while it is hot. So far my favorite latte is the Black Sesame Latte with nondairy milk. It is not too sweet, a little nutty, and so smooth. I especially love visiting Tatte in the fall for their version of a pumpkin spice latte. The syrup they use is dairy free which is challenging to find. I do wish Tatte had more vegan options, and more clearly labeled on the menu what can be modified to be vegan. Part of the reason I have not tried any of the food is because navigating the menu as a vegan is challenging. I hope they can make some changes so I can have breakfast or lunch with my latte in the future. For now I love visiting Tatte for a treat yo self moment. The lattes are my favorite in Rockville and a wonderful pick me up if I need to brighten my day.
