I've been coming to this Starbucks inside my neighborhood Smith's for a long time, and one of the main reasons I keep coming back is Dawn. No matter how early the morning or how hectic the day, she always greets me with a warm smile and a positive attitude. I work some pretty ridiculous hours, and recently I've been dealing with a lot of personal challenges. During times like these, it's often the simple things that make the biggest difference, and seeing Dawn's friendly face is one of those things. She has a genuine kindness that can't be taught, and she consistently makes customers feel welcome and appreciated. Very disappointed with my recent Smith's delivery. I received a head of lettuce that was already molding, and I was also charged for three bags of Reddy Ice that I never ordered or received. This is the third delivery issue I've experienced this year, plus a similar incident last year. I understand mistakes happen, but repeated problems like spoiled produce and incorrect charges are unacceptable. I hope Smith's improves its quality control and investigates these recurring issues. read more

I stopped by the Starbucks @smith #334 while visiting Las Vegas with my 2 small daughters and I was greeted by the most rude barista by the name of Jayden. our vacation home rental is near by so it's very unfortunate that even when I smiled at her she remained rude. She seemed so miserable in there and has zero manner. I definitely won't be coming back and I made sure to leave a review to alert management. such employee is bad for the company! read more

Barista as very friendly and they still have the pecan cold foam which is my fave!! It's soo good! Highly recommend if you like your coffee on the sweeter side add pecan syrup to your ice coffee! read more

Im a Starbucks clients since at least 2009. Today, I visited this Starbucks inside the Smith's. When we got there a young lady, Jayden was making a drink for a client and the other young lady was washing dishes. We waited until Jayden was done to help us, meanwhile 2-3 more clients were behind us. This time I was only getting a cup of water for my granddaughter, because she forgot hers at home! I didn't realized that unless you are a paying customer you do not deserve the same kind of service! My granddaughter said, grandma I'm thirsty; how much longer do you think it will take for her to get us the water?! We did not get the cup of water until after she was done with all the customers that were behind us! I won't be giving my business to this Starbucks again! WORST Starbucks EVER!!! I used to frequent this location. I went the other day and my mocha cookie crumble had no taste at all!!! The manager at this store is extremely rude/mean to customers for literally no reason at all. I have had to stop coming to this location because even ordering for pick up does not prevent me from having an unpleasant experience every time I go. You can't even check to see if it's your name is on a drink without her yelling at you "that's not yours!" Like you can't even check if a drink is yours or not. She literally goes out of her way to say something snarky or unnecessary to every single customer. I used to love coming to this location until she started working here. It's just so unfortunate. One time I ordered for pickup in the morning. I show up and the Starbucks is closed but the manager is there. She then proceeds to yell at me for placing the order and demands that I cancel the order becuae she's not open and it's not suppose to let me order for pick up. She's yelling at me like I turned on her availability at the store.... So then she proceeds to loudly complain the entire time while she's making my drink to me and TO OTHER PEOPLE AT THE SMITHS about how I had placed a pick up order. This lady is insane. The closest Starbucks to us is located inside the Smith's off of Centennial and Losee Road. The upside is that it's close, the downside is that it's not that convenient when you're in a hurry. The parking lot for this plaza is almost always busy, but we usually come here for caffeine in the early mornings so it's not that bad. They don't have the full food selection here if you're looking for eats like you find in the full-service Starbucks stores, but you do still have a selection of croissants, cake pops, and breads to choose from. If you want your fix and have a little more time to get it, stop here. read more

This Starbucks is located inside a grocery store (Smiths). I'm giving them 4 stars just due to the convenience and service. Other than that, this is really one of those makeshift type Starbucks that you find at airports, books stores, and Idaho. Don't expect everything that your regular Starbucks has like food, cake pops, hipsters on their laptops, etc. Right at the entrance of this Smiths, you can't miss it. My main reason for coming here is because the other Starbucks in the AM have lines longer than "It's a Small World". Also always pleasant to see the same people at the same time almost everyday. All of a sudden they are ringing up cold drinks as hot. Last time I checked hot is hot and cold is cold but this location doesn't want people using ebt so they are ringing up whatever they can as hot instead of cold so you can't. Because of this pandemic I'm sure more people are on ebt so it seems very prejudiced to go out of your way and ring things up in a way that won't let certain people buy it. I've only had this issue at this location. When I asked them why they are ringing up cold drinks as hot they said that that's what they were told to do. read more

They would get 0 if it allowed. Staff is extremely unpleasant and unprofessional in the mornings and early afternoons when I come in. The manager seems to know nothing about the cups and merchandise when asked and always has a nasty ass attitude, lord only knows how she got that position. The male employee seems to think he runs the place and just sits and stares at the other employees while they do the work if he isn't alone. Constantly closing down early for no reason, claims "staffing" issues yet there is usually 2-4 people in the mornings and they leave the poor night girl with the multicolored hair alone to do everything herself (she's the only reason that place ran smoothly-ish in my opinion, as she is so friendly and always willing to go above and beyond for the customers. As well as amazing knowledge of the cups. Was extremely sad to hear of her leaving the store but definitely understand why seeing how she was treated there) Smiths management should definitely step in and get a new manager because their so called manager I believe Kara is her name is NOT fit to run that place... 10/10 recommend going to the north 5th location or Aliante smiths location. read more

Just went to order 3 drinks and all three were made wrong and when told they were wrong all I got was attitude and the girl saying it was right. Im a supervisor at Starbucks and know for sure whether it was right or not and she remade the drink and it was STILL WRONG. Got frustrated and just took the drink it threw it away. I went in for a simple black Venti Pikes Place coffee. I specifically asked for it hot. The young lady tested it and decided she needed to make a fresh pot. However, her coworker decided it was hot enough, and served it to me lukewarm. I politely returned it and requested a fresh cup of coffee. I love the girls here! Not only are they super friendly and fast, they remember most of the customers that come in and what they drink. One girl in particular is amazing with my kids and my baby girl adores her. Being personable is going above and beyond what I experience at any other Starbucks. Ive been frequenting another Starbucks 5 days a week for almost two years and have never gotten the interactions with the baristas there that I get when I come here. So I've come to this location a few times and always seem to get the same, unfriendly girl. People around that area might know who I'm talking about (her name starts with a T). I approached and she said "what are you gonna get?" I was surprised at how she said it and said "excuse me?" And she continued with "what are going to have?" There was no "Hi, welcome to starbucks, how are you?" No smile or warm welcome. When my drink was ready, she just placed it and said here. I visit different starbucks about 3-4 times a week and always find that their employees are happy and friendly, except this location inside smiths. Everyone at this location is nice and friendly except one employee. I visit this location at least 3 times a week. And every time she's there, she never says hello. She'll stare at me until I tell her what I want. One time she even started the interaction with "what are you having?". No smile, no sincerity, not even a bit of happiness she even has a job. She's a straight up bitter person. And she was even rude to my husband who I sent to get me a coffee while I shopped. He said she just ignored him until he asked "are you open?". It blows my mind that the two young ladies in the morning Tamara and Shardell know every single person that walks in by name and drink every morning.
