Tips: - There are three single-stall washrooms. - This cafe is huge! - The wifi is free. Last Tuesday, I was heading to Galleria Supermarket. I left home after work and had a lot of time to spare when I was close by. I thought that traffic would be bad, but back-roading it got me here in half an hour. I remembered this Starbucks nearby. It's a couple of businesses down from California Sandwiches, which I enjoy frequenting when I have a hankering for a veal sandwich. I decided to head to this cafe, grab a drink, and relax. I found a parking spot in front of the cafe. I backed into it. This plaza has a steady stream of vehicles. This Starbucks has a drive-thru, which would explain some of the traffic flow. I walked into this cafe. It's huge. There were a ton of seats to my right. I walked straight ahead to the counter. There were more seats in this area. I got a nice female barista who enthusiastically said hi. I ordered a tall iced peach green tea. My usual drink size is grande. I didn't need a huge drink, as I was here for about half an hour. She scanned my Starbucks barcode from my phone. Paid. Done! I waited patiently for my drink. It didn't take long for it to be ready. She handed it to me. I thanked her and found a seat steps away from the counter. It was a comfortable stay. I connected my phone to the free wifi. It allowed me to upload a bunch of photos on Yelp. My iced peach green tea hit the spot. The peach flavour tasted like a juicy peach. It was cold and yummy. The armchairs looked so comfortable. I'd probably doze off in one! I used the washroom before I left. There are three individual stalls. You press a button when you are inside one of them to lock the door. I appreciated that there was a ledge for my drink. It was a nice touch. The washroom that I used was clean. No complaints. I pressed another button to open the door and leave. I can see myself spending hours here if my wifi connection at home wasn't working and I needed to do some work. I'd probably order way too many drinks and snacks while I worked. It's one of the nicer cafes that I have frequented. I'm glad that I stopped by. I'd love to check out the drive-thru next time. (431) read more

This is the Starbucks right across the street from the hotel that my sister and I stay at when in Toronto (North York) visiting family. If we want a quick breakfast or a drink or snack, we either grab something to go from this location or we will eat or drink it there. This Starbucks had plenty of indoor seating to the right when you enter from the front doors (with a back door right there) and a larger open area with smaller and larger tables to sit with a small group or at a community table. As it was very cold out, I couldn't recall if there was also outside seating available for nicer times of the year. There was also a drive-through at this location. Orders are often rather fast at this location. The cashier was very helpful in walking my sister through how to use her app to pay with a gift card. I was amazed that the prices in Toronto match the prices back in Arizona (in the United States), which means that being these items in the United States are an even better deal. I have been impressed with the responsiveness and helpfulness of the Starbucks staff at this location. On this particular visit, my sister and I were skipping a brunch restaurant, and I ordered the Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich (bacon smoked for 6 hours over hickory wood chips, stacked with a cage-free fried egg, topped with a melted slice of sharp Cheddar cheese and on Starbucks' signature croissant bun) while my sister ordered two orders of egg bites. We did not order any drinks on this particular time. As most Starbucks frequenters know, you should have the app with some funds on it and ideally a Gold Card. There are often deals through the app whether a discount or buy one get one free or bonus stars, which can be used to redeem free drinks or food. I enjoy the games that come out about twice a year and can lead to bonus stars, sweepstakes, and more. I'm glad that there's a Starbucks near the hotel I stay at especially as this is one of the best places for a quick food item or drink on the go. The picture I'm showing here is how this location of Starbucks scams people. They did this to the customer before me and they didn't say anything and just left and I brushed it off as an accident by the employees as it was near closing however when I got my two drinks it was clear that this is what they do here. They don't fill your drinks to the top despite giving you a lot of ice as is in your iced drink. You might think it's ridiculous that I'm upset about this but you have to remember that these drinks are already expensive and the least they can do is fill it up to the top. read more

Starbucks - Consistently cheating out on customers. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - North York, Ontario

Regrettably have to drop this location to 3.5 Stars rounded down, mostly because of what were probably corporate decisions to downgrade this store last year. They lost their small selection of Reserve beans, and they no longer have a Clover machine. The Reserve coffees probably weren't high demand anyway, but not having the Clover makes it time consuming to get a different coffee from what's on tap. Moreover the fine crew that used to work here seems to have been mostly replaced (and reduced) and there isn't the same efficient "team" feeling or customer-first mentality. When I asked them to make a Light Roast by pourover, the girl said she couldn't do it. I couldn't be bothered to argue, they were obviously struggling to catch up on prep, mobile orders & cleaning. Same state of affairs I see in most other locations :-( This store still has a few pluses; physically it has among the largest seating capacities, it's open until 11PM and it has better HVAC than the Reserve Bar (which tends to feel "lived in" at peak times and is stuffy in the summer). But this is no longer enough to clearly separate it from the average Starbucks, meaning 3 Stars. read more

I stopped by the Starbucks drive through at this location and had a really positive experience. The line moved relatively quickly and the employees were really nice. I ordered a grande coconut milk matcha frappe with an extra pump of vanilla and it tasted fantastic. I would definitely drive through this location again. read more

This is a huge location (used to be a Wendy's - RIP), with tons of seating..some of it consisting of really comfy chairs! While there are the usual laptop wifi users, they don't seem to take up the majority of the space like in other locations. I guess the massive size of this one helps in that regard! The baristas and baristos (?) at this location are great. They're extremely friendly and make you feel like a valued customer- especially the British dude! He's the best, and one of the reasons I like this location so much. They're always quick and happy to correct your order (the few times it was needed), and while you usually are going to have to wait in line here, it does move quickly. Great location! read more

I hate to give just a two star when I literally go to Starbucks daily. Sometimes more than once a day. But this experience was super annoying. Customer service however is great. They are very friendly and comfortable with their coworkers. But they cannot seem to get this whole coffee making thing correct. I generally order the same thing every time I get a Blonde Cinnamon Almond Macchiato for me and Americano Nuevo for my bf. The girl at my Starbucks makes his Americano Nuevo on the clover. So I get here order the same thing. First the cashier doesn't know how to type them into the register, asks another guy and he tells me they usually do it w brewed coffee. I said ok but I usually get it this way is that ok. He says oh ye and tells the cashier he has to put it in as some other coffee and add a shot of this and a blend of that. I was confused but maintained my faith since I love me some Starbucks. The girl finally hands me the coffee( huge line up btw w only one cashier and 3 ppl stocking and "cleaning", 2 on coffee). i look at it and see bubbles on the top and automatically know its incorrect. Taste it and its horribly. Iwait for the second coffee and my bf comes in from next door. I tell him taste it, he asks what it it i said same thing I always get. no its not lol, yes it is. So I tell the girl its incorrect and she says do I want her to make it again , obviously it would taste the same . I wasn't sure if it was how she made it or what the guy wrote.She asks the other girl to make it over for me, But I wasn't impressed at all either way, so I said no just give me a caramel macchiato. I went in today, feeling very cold. As I was lining up and getting my Starbucks app ready, I didn't realize that I was already at the front. The employees there are very friendly and very efficient, i was feeling warmer already. I got my coconut latte and was satisfied with my drink, at first I was a bit confused because I ordered the blonde shot of espresso instead of the regular and it wasn't the usual taste that I was used to. I didn't taste the coconut milk that I usually would, but I was assured that it was and the blonde shot changes up the flavor. The man who makes this place 5 stars, whose name I don't know (forgive me) must be the manager, or should be. He's like 5'8", very blue eyes and about the most fabulously ostentatiously kind person I've ever seen working in the service industry. He holds doors for people, remembers names and drinks and says hello to absolutely everyone! I've been coming to this Starbucks location for about three years and to be honest, it's been pretty consistent all around. It's my local stop, so there are times when I visit quite frequently (uh oh, that sounds like I have a coffee problem...). Overall, service is good and it can be a great spot to people watch, if you can get a seat. Starbucks is Starbucks, but if you get a chance, try the Reserve coffees. They usually have different ones that range from regular to higher priced, but they can be pretty good. Ordered a coffee and a banana loaf. The person who took my order (I believe her name was Holly) was unfriendly. I waited almost 20 minutes for my banana loaf to get heated up. Everyone was very preoccupied with other orders. I was the only customer in the store standing and waiting. Somebody asked me if I was waiting on something. Eventually, I saw my bag come out of the reheating oven. This person brought it over and rested it on a dirty counter. Somebody else walked by and picked it up. Three people had handled my banana loaf. Not cool during a pandemic. Very poor service. Actually horrible. I will not be going there again. It's strange to give Starbucks a low score because I often go and have a great experience with the baristas and/or quick transaction but this location was horrible. The setting here is lovely and very spacious compared to regular Starbuck locations. However, the cashier was insanely slow and a line was building up. It seriously wouldn't be an issue but there were at least 6 other people working, one on drive thru and the others talking to each other, making jokes, doing their own business besides working. Several times during my wait, baristas walked up to the second empty cash, looked up, saw the line and walked away. The worse was, I ordered a Toffee Almondmilk Hot Cocoa and they got my order wrong. It bewilders me how you can get a drink wrong when orders were coming thru so slowly. It could only mean staff were distracted by their "work" and couldn't get their actual job right. Love Starbucks but hate the free wifi and all the loitering from people with laptops and a sip of coffee left in their cup. Very seldom is there seating available and this is a pretty big store. Sometimes, I have breakfast at Starbucks, I love their coffee and croissant. Starbucks in my opinion has the best coffee. Why? Because the taste is smooth, sweet and unique. It's served fast and the product is good quality. There are many clients which frequent there. The attendants are very polite, so I consider there the best place to have breakfast in Toronto. Although the products are expensive, for me is irrelevant, since the place is always clean and the breakfast is good. I really recommend all people to visit it. Additionally, I've never had a bad experience, that's why, in my point of view, it's best choice to eat a breakfast. It's a busy store but the staff have been consistently friendly. There is usually a line (either on cash or for drinks) but considering that they also handle drive-thru and reserve coffees, they do a pretty good job! The baristas seem to know some regulars pretty well, and also ask me how I am while I wait for my drinks. Great team. read more

First of all, Starbucks is my choice of caffeine over all others. Consistantly good, strong & fresh. That keeps me coming back. This location is on my way to work so I usually stop in a couple times a week. It looks like a really comfy place to come read or do some work but I haven't had the pleasure of being able to do this. This Starbucks recently renovated and took over the Wendy's space in the plaza, expanding to at least three times the size of the original store beside it, which is a huge upgrade. Pros: - Lots of seating and outlets! - Opens late Cons: - They have seem to have a pretty bad fly problem (I'm talking about BIG flies) - Their internet hasn't really been working the past few months. Amazing service, they're really great people. They have a few plugs and a fair number of seats. It does get a bit cold near the doors but if you sit closer to the bar it's okay. It's not as loud as the other locations so it's also a great study spot! So why 4 stars and not 5?
