I come to this Starbucks locations often since its the closest location to my house. I normally go through the drive thru but went in cause I had an issue with a reward on the app. I was suppose to get a $3 handcrafted drinks but there was no way to somehow redeem it. One of the workers tried to figuire it out himself but couldn't either. I forget his name, he looked like a manager or maybe even the franchise owner, not sure. Sadly, my mom and I get the worst attitude. It almost feels like we're asking them for something they can't provide. At times I've been ignored and treated like I'm asking them for charity. Came here to pick up a mobile order...a few times actually and the baristas are not friendly. so this specific location, starbucks I have been to where the gal working the espresso machine always makes fun of my drinks as well as other peoples. There's is nothing like having an intense heavy meeting morning that awaits in the board room! The difference with this morning is I got my order from Kass. She recommended the Hazelnut shaken espresso and greeted me with the warmest smile. She took the time to actually ask how my day is going....I was not just another drive thru customer...I felt she was really genuine in asking me that question! Was on a hunt for a tumbler. Spoke with an employee over the phone to ask if they had a certain tumbler cup. They affirmed me that they had 4 in stock. Drove all the way over there and when we arrived within minutes, they had told me there was none and not sure who told us that the cup was available. The employees on duty today 6/30/2021 around 7pm are a horrible representation of the Starbucks coffee company. I went through the drive-thru and asked for a venti dragon fruit with NO ice and the little boy in the drive-thru asked me what I wanted him to fill the "empty" space with. Completely confused, I then asked what he meant and he stated that if I didn't want ice they would need to fill the space with something. There was back and forth because I was confused and his tone was rude as hell! I have never heard such a thing my entire life! I would've just been confused and not angry had he been polite about it but he told me a bold face lie to my face and he was soooo nasty and rude about it. So I just left to avoid spit in my drink because obviously he couldn't be trusted for him to speak to me (a customer and complete stranger) in that manner. I called back for his name and the managers name and another little Girl told me she was the shift supervisor and that she couldn't give me his name although his name tag is on his shirt. She then began to take up for him and supported the statement that Starbucks coffee company must fill the cup space to account for product when a customer asks for a drink without ice. Does this mean we are being ripped off when we order a venti? Are they filling our cups with access ice and not were not getting what we pay for when we order drinks from this Starbucks location? I will definitely inform corporate of the matter as soon as I complete this review. I went to a different location on Limonite and Archibald and asked the employee for the exact same drink and guess what she said... Yes, of course! No attitude, no smart remarks, no unnecessary explanation about filling the empty space of the cup. Just simply, yes, of course. I did an app order and I usually take my time to do a pick up so that way it gives them time to make it. I got to the window and was given my cake pop and was told to wait for my drink. Legit 2 minutes past and a kid named Taylor asked me on what was I waiting for after he got done being on his phone. He gave me 2 different drinks and I told him that wasn't I ordered. Gave me the biggest attitude and handed me what I finally ordered and the top of the drink came off and spilled all over me and the outside of my car. I gave him the same attitude he gave me. When I arrived, I saw a tumbler on display. I moved by the register while I reloaded my Starbucks card for my purchase. I got to the register, Jon helped me out and said "I can't sell this to you it was put out for display mistakenly" I told him that "multiple were out for display, how was that a mistake?" and informed him "if it was a mistake he might want to pull the other one on display"? I asked to speak to a supervisor, and he stated, "He was one." I asked if he's a supervisor, How didn't he notice that the tumblers were mistakenly placed on display? He responded, "I'm not sure, I just got here"(keep in mind you have to walk by the display table to get behind the work counter). As I was speaking to Jon, Kevin immediately jumped in speaking over him and I. I told him that I wanted to speak to a supervisor being said I wanted to speak to Jon. Kevin immediately became very unprofessional and started to argue with me stating he was also a supervisor. I wasn't going to tolerate the disrespect and unprofessional service from Kevin so I asked for a corporate phone number. He immediately stormed off and walked to the back room. About 8 mins later Kevin returned and handed me the corporate number very rudely once again. I had informed him that I still wanted to complete my purchases despite his unprofessional attitude and advised him I wanted to continue my gift card purchase even though he didn'task me if i had another purchase besides the tumbler. "Kevin responded," How am I supposed to know you wanted to buy something else, when you go to Target they don't ask you if you wanna buy something " I responded to him "when I'm at a register it means I'm ready to check out". As I was trying to complete my transaction my barcode wasn't scanning from my phone I asked for him to assist me like other barristas have done in the past,  Kevin immediately answered and said "do you want me to hold your hand too or what" he completed my transaction and THREW my gift card and receipt at me causing it to fall on the floor and immediately walked away. I called Jon over and said "I want to let you know he threw my giftcard at me and walked away, that was very unprofessional." Joh walked over and said well things got heated I can't do anything about it". I kept calm and never raised my voice or disrespected them the way i was disrespected to which i don't understsnd why Joh would say "things got heated ". The way Kevin acted was against what Starbucks promotes, he humiliated me while I maintain calm being the customer, even after he threw my gift card at me. Starbucks promotes "Customer-centric approach and Atmosphere: Starbucks' culture values creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers, which contributes to the company's reputation for quality and innovation." And that was the complete opposite of what I experience from the very beginning. read more
