Summer Skies Refreshers Drink (light ice) - not only a beautiful drink to walk around holding, also so yummy and refreshing! Recommend!
    I C.

Another rare trip to National Harbor (3 years later from my previous review/post lol) - if you're here for an event, meeting or attending a conference at the beautiful Gaylord Hotel up the street, you'll be happy to know there's a tried-and-true Starbucks within a short walk of anywhere you are at the Harbor. Andddddd it's on Waterfront St with gorgeous water views. I was there on a Monday around lunchtime and there were 2 customers in the place - nice. I decided to try the new Summer Skies Refresher, light ice - and it did not disappoint. It's a dairy-based drink - come on, don't wimp out and do get it with full-fat whole milk. It IS so refreshing as its name implies. And on a sweltering summer day like it was that day - it was an amazing sip. Don't be afraid to get it with "light ice" - I hate when Starbucks fills the cup up full of ice then gives you 8 drips of drink. The light ice option is plenty cold and you actually get a decent amount of the drink - the way it should be. See my pic - got a Tall (Small). Service was friendly and fast - like the last time I was there - have never had a problem with service though admittedly both times I was there with no lines, no crowds. Walk up 1 block towards the Gaylord Hotel and you'll find a nice spot to view the water (and ferris wheel) - Instagrammable views for sure. See my vid. If you have time, head into the Gaylord and check out the beeeeeeeeeautiful inside lobby area - it's gorg! So many areas inside to sit and hang out and take in the beautiful scenery, decor or just sit and people watch. See my vid (and see if you can spot a glimpse of my drink). :)

Stopped here for a quick coffee on the way back to the convention. The staff was really nice and inviting. Just like to give credit where credit is due.

Decent Starbucks where the staff are friendly and enjoy working here. The pistachio latte didn't quite have that pistachio flavor to it and offered to fix it for me. A little too much foam for me, maybe 15% of the top was foam.

Walked in to receive my birthday item & the young person made me feel so special when I told them it was my birthday! Some locations are chaotic & rude but this location ran so smoothly. I appreciate how they work as a team. The store is positioned in a great location and so is the set up of merchandise. My drink was made perfectly, that's another hit or miss sometimes. The team did a great job!

Not the cleanest Starbucks. They need to hire a cleaner to conduct a deep cleansing of the grout, floors, walls and for the love of those who don't want dust in their lungs or even their fresh cup of coffee, PLEASE GET THE CEILING CLEAN. It's a jungle of caked dust.

Right next to our hotel i couldn't wait to get inside for a hot cup of coffee because it's so cold here, this isn't Florida girl weather but anyway both time I tried the place was packed. After dinner I needed a drink, to late for me to have coffee so I decided with this pineapple lemonade. Omg, this drink is delicious. I don't recall seeing this on the menu but it's been a while since I've visited any Starbucks. The staff was friendly and we were greeted when we walked in.

    Medicine Ball extra Honey !!

Words cannot explain how much I wanted to give this place a higher rating but one bad apple can definitely spoil the bunch but 2 bad apples... you're done! My husband and I visited National Harbor for the weekend. I was so happy to see a Starbucks so close to where we were staying at the time. I walked in and was greeted by Dior who was very kind, friendly and efficient. I ordered a Medicine Ball with extra honey and he made it to perfection. While we waited for my beverage, a young boy in his mom proceeded to come in at the exact time of closing. The door was unlocked so they were able to get in and there was the guy there named Chris who works there who immediately told them that he could not help them. The little boy left out and then came back and said can I just buy a hot tea and the guy aggressively told him no. I understand the business may close at 8 but a tea is just hot water. I didn't like the way they were treated but it was what it was. The next morning after my run, I went back to Starbucks. They were crowded too! Heck, they were crowded the night before. Maggie took my order. She was nice and bubbly. I asked for a Medicine Ball with extra honey. I specified I wanted honey packets and I watched Maggie tell Anna the barista who would make it. Sadly I saw Anna make my drink w honey syrup from a pump. I know the look and taste of Honey Pumps vs Honey Packets. Instead of making a big deal out of it, I took my drink and left. I watched Maggie tell Anna that I wanted honey packets so there was really nothing to dispute. Nevertheless, this Starbucks is at a great location and with the help of better customer service and really giving customers what they order... they should succeed.

Thought I would come here to pick up a quick coffee, but no, the line was extremely long. I have learned my lesson and will definitely order ahead of time. I think I waited 20 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for my order. I think I ordered something simple such as the vanilla sweet cream cold brew just so it would be quicker. That did not work. I suspect a lot of peoople coming from the Gaylord National Convention Center and other hotels. I would rather go here than to the Tanger Outlets as you have to park further to walk to that location. Overall, I enjoyed my drink, but will defintely order via the app so that I could save time. I think this is the longest I've ever had to wait for some coffee. I parked at the meter in front before 8am, so didn't need to pay, but that was probably the best thing that could have happened.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep of this location. It's in a very cool and live location and hoping to come in to a clean Starbucks. The drink was made exceptionally well. Just tighten up on the tidying.

worst experience here! Jacie (cashier) and the manager said, "get the F**k out." They didn't make our correct drinks

Omg- so good. The cornbread was served with honey butter that made it almost desesert like. But the cornbread itself was savory, so there was a perfect balance. So good! The crab cake was unbelievable. So good. (Similar to what you would get at a pappadeaux for context.) Literally a showstopper. The shrimp and grits were really good too. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and were sweet and juicy. The grits were good, but personally I like more cheese in them. But adding the crystal hot sauce made up for it. Just an amazing meal! Our server Luna was super friendly, hard working and we so enjoyed her! She is a real asset to this place! Great job and great food!

My cousin and I stopped by on Friday, June 12, 2026, craving one of our favorites--the pimento burger. As usual, we grabbed two open seats at the bar that had just been vacated. A waiter greeted us and said he would return after cleaning the area. Another staff member brought us water, and we waited to place our order. While waiting, I noticed a couple sit down at the bar near us. To my surprise, the first waiter immediately went over to them, took their order, and prepared their drinks while my cousin and I continued to sit there without any acknowledgment. I eventually asked the waiter if he was assigned to our section, and he confirmed that he was. I then asked why the couple had been served before us when we had arrived first. His flippant response was, "Because they're regulars." I replied that, with good customer service, I could become a regular too. He then shrugged and said, "They know management." Thinking I must have misunderstood, I asked him to repeat himself. He again said, "They know management." What bothered me most was not that regular customers were recognized. Great hospitality includes making loyal guests feel appreciated. The problem was the message that seemed to be conveyed--that some customers are more deserving of attention than others because of who they know. When I expressed concern, the waiter appeared dismissive and uninterested in addressing it. Instead of clarifying or apologizing, he repeated the same explanation and shrugged off our concerns. At that point, my cousin looked at me and asked, "Are you ready?" We got up and left without ordering anything. This experience was especially disappointing because it was so different from the positive visits I've had here before. We came expecting good food and a welcoming atmosphere, but instead left feeling ignored and undervalued. I hope management takes customer service seriously and addresses situations like this. Every guest should feel welcomed and respected, whether they are a first-time visitor, a regular, or someone who knows management. Unfortunately, this experience makes me reluctant to return anytime soon. I can't say that I wouldn't recommend Succotash National Harbor, as I've enjoyed many good meals there in the past, but this visit left a lasting negative impression. To make matters worse, my cousin and I never even got the chance to order the pimento burger we came for .

The biggest advantage here is the amount of space. There is plenty of seating outside, throughout the main floor, upstairs, and even on the upstairs deck, making it very easy to find a comfortable place to settle in with a drink and stay awhile. The coffee was just as good as expected, and the coffee cake was excellent. The staff was also nice and efficient, keeping everything moving without making the experience feel rushed. The only thing that kept this visit from matching the King Street location was that the space felt a little neglected in comparison. The upstairs bar area, in particular, seemed deserted during our visit, and seeing what appeared to be an expired liquor license posted on the wall gave the impression that the space was once used in a greater capacity, but that's purely just speculation. Overall, it is still a lovely coffee shop with great drinks, plenty of room to spread out, and a relaxed atmosphere. Funny enough, they made a beeline straight for the ice cream instead of the candy... probably because we had already been it It's Sugar earlier that day! They tried a mix of flavors--birthday cake, wildberry sorbet, cookies & cream, butter pecan--and I went with mint chocolate chip. Every single one was delicious! The ice cream was creamy, flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. And let me just say--I appreciated the pricing. For the area, it was very reasonable.
