I don't usually go to Starbucks lately ( since I got a professional coffee machine for my house) , but overall my experiences used to be good in the past. I even been to this location many times before . Today the service was Meh . The cashier was a bit off . I ordered a coffee, a latte and some milk on the side ( for the coffee) and surprisingly they handed it over to me through the coffee station while i was still at the register so naturally I placed it down there . I asked for sugar and sweetener and I was given but she was not nice about it - ( doesn't most ppl need that for coffee???) I was alone , with 3 cups yet I was not offered the cup holder . When I asked for it ( how the hell Can I carry 3 cups with 2 hands ??) she said " they are back there " and started walking toward the end of the coffee bar - and I am thinking : okay - so what does this mean ? Am I supposed to walk back there after her ( which I did ) so she can hand me the cup holder even though they gave me my coffee at the register and she has to walk back there anyway ? There was no line - if there was a line I can understand they don't want you hold the line up while placing your coffee in a cup holder at the register but than don't give me those at the register . Or was I supposed to carry the 3 coffees ( and my sandwich ) one by one to the back so i can place it in the cup holder ? I got one single napkin for 2 coffees and a sandwich. And did not get the green stopper to prevent the coffee to spill even though orders are to go now with no exemption. Overall - not a nice way to start your day. read more

One of the worst Starbucks locations. You would think the Palisades would have better Starbucks locations but they don't. They can not ever get a drink correct. And I've been going here for 15 years. It used it be really nice and great. But the staff isn't friendly, they give you weird looks and you usually have to ask to get your order form behind the counter for pickup. But I always say thank you even when they mess up because I never have the time or patience to wait to get my drink fixed. But with the prices your paying it's just not worth it anymore. I noticed I had a rewards drink available on my SBUX app, so I thought I would take advantage of it. We were having trouble getting my rewards to apply to my drink so Jason came over and tried to get it to work. Come to find out, I did have enough points for a free drink...just not for the Matcha Green Tea Latte that I had ordered. Instead of making me feel foolish like most other Starbucks locations would do (yes, I'm looking at you Long Beach), Jason explained there is a new rewards program (about 3 days new) and that I needed 15 more points for the crafted coffee drink as per the new program. This is my new favorite Starbucks!!! I almost hesitate to review it as I don't want it to get crowded. It's not the biggest location, so if you're looking to sit indoors you have to cross your fingers and say a prayer before you go. Customers are always friendly & accommodating sharing tables with other patrons. For some reason this location doesn't have the ring chargers so not only do you have to fight for a table you basically have to have all of the stars align to get an outlet (tip: charge before you go). If indoor caffeine isn't your thing, there are plenty of outdoor tables and there is a cute little play area. It's set back from the street so it's pretty quiet. Seems like the perfect place to let young kids play while adults sip on a Starbucks. read more

Very friendly crew that works here, and there are only a few complaints: 1. The choice of music--hard driving, redundant and noisy, makes it difficult to have a conversation. Change it up! 2. Not enough low level, comfortable chairs. get rid of those high chair tables! Dangerous and uncomfortable! 3. Too many homeless and low-life people hanging out at the tables on the north end of the restaurant--primarily just to use the free wi fi. You need to impose a time limit! Living in the City of Angels, you rarely run into strangers that are willing to take time out of their day to help you out. When I visited this particular Starbucks, I was fortunate enough to be helped out by a nice woman name Jennie. I told Jennie that I don't usually drink coffee and I was only there to get a specific, "S'mores" Frap for my good friend whom I was surprising. Unfortunately, the S'mores Frap is a seasonal item and was no longer available... Jennie could see that I was disappointed and decided to make me a custom Frap. Without hesitation Jennie used her amazing barista skills and whipped together a custom S'mores Frap in a matter of minutes. I never got to tell Jennie in person, but my friend had NO idea that Frap was custom made! In fact, he said, "this is better than usual!" I am all about the positive reviews and support of local business. This is the local Starbucks by my home for last two years and it just consistently disappointing. Nitro is always broken, they run out of basic supplies, this weekend no almond or soy milk. The wait is always painful and orders are often not even done correctly. I try to avoid it and often drive 3 extra miles to pick up nitro or iced tea for the kids. The staff seems lovely but they seem to be scrambling to do their job and lack efficiency. Right off sunset, this Starbucks is tucked next to a little doggie rest area near an outlet mall. There's f45 and pilates nearby too. There's not a lot of seating inside but it is spacious and calm. There's tons of seating outside though, I've never seen a Starbucks that had a mini park like surrounding. They carry unique foods I've never seen at a Starbucks like sous vide bites. If you want to feel ignored and wait an excruciatingly long time for your order, this is the Starbucks for you. Staff makes absolutely no effort to greet customers or acknowledge their concerns. I placed a mobile order more than twenty minutes in advance, and when I arrived half of the order was still missing. When I asked about it, the staff member simply said it should be coming out shortly, and she made no effort to even check. Ten minutes later, the order finally came out. I never thought I'd review a starbucks, I mean, come on. They are all pretty much the same with a few exceptions. But this one, this ones a class of it's own. Maybe it's because it's brand new or maybe it's the fact that it's in the Pacific Palisades... or both. But whatever it is, it has to be the nicest starbucks I've ever been to. It's not exceptional big or anything. It's just nice and kinda cozy, I guess you could say. But what really bumped it up to a 5 star for me was the fact that they have a nice outdoor area (with picnic tables) and swings / space for children to run and play. The service was also exceptional. The cashier who took our order spent time talking to us and was nothing but smiles and good energy. The drinks came out promptly and were on point. Been coming here since it opened to get my piping hot Americanos and love mobile ordering/pickup too. Tastes great and so does the warmup butter croissant. Nice pergola outside with tables outside to sit down and there's 2 swings in the wonderful playlawn with more seating. Love it if they planted some grapevines around the pergola which would produce wonderful grape leafy shade when the Sun's out. I've seen People smoke as there's no signs explicitly stating that smoking is not allowed in the vicinity. I don't think there's any ventilation inside and with it being at times, a little too noisy and dark inside for me now; I think it's time for a redesign with a sofa or two, intelligent lighting and musicana kept at convivial volume. Perhaps Customers can request the "next song" to be played via the Starbucks app and other Customers can vote on it. Everyone comes here from all walks of Life and yes, I've even seen someone a few times who comes to wash His face and parts of their body using the water tap outside by the tables area. Oh!
