Worst costumer service when it came to take my order. As I processed to ask for my order the girl was being super rude she kept screaming at me to tell me "wait wait" and role her eyes at me. After that she ok "what else" with rude attitude. When she gave me my food order she threw it at me. I tried to get her name but didn't a name tag but make sure you don't order with the girl with short hair. read more

District Manager Jennifer Vanderpool responded to my COMMENT/STATEMENT or complaint (what ever you wish to call it) by doing a basic, common thing, apparently, to restrict me from buying a coffee here ever again. What is the ISSUE - On June 9, 2020, I walked in to order an Ice Coffee. I was ordering my ice coffee through my iPhone, simplifying my process. I did so by placing a book on a shelf. I might need two hands to order my coffee. On June 9, 2020 First issue: to properly and correctly order my coffee on my iPhone, I first needed to place my MacBook on the shelf, far away from the register and staff. During that process, I was told by a barista that I needed to do it outside. Outside has no holders, nowhere were I could place my MacBook at (except the floor and that is out of the question). When I responded and said that I was almost done, he barista said something else, but I was almost done, and ordered my coffee quick enough on my iPhone. Next, I walked over to the pick area, where I would no doubt pick up my Ice Coffee. Second Issue: During waiting, I thought of stating to Jenny (Supervisor) why I chose to order my Coffee online, and why I prefer to do it inside Starbucks - I then had a facemark, just to make it clear. It had been a few days, maybe 4-5 days since I had previously gone there to purchase a coffee. I didn't recollect the second employee's name, the one preparing the coffees, then, but I knew that she was the supervisor at that store. I hadn't seen here for 4-5 days. Usually when you go inside a STARBUCKS, you usually don't spend too much time in converse conversation with this staff. You hardly ever ask them for their names, and it's a bit tough recalling their names if you don't see them every single day. Anyway, I waved my left hand up, and said, the general term, "hey" and "hey" again, to get the supervisors attention. It was then my intention to explain why I placed my MacBook on a shelve, and why I ordered my coffee on my iPhone. Instead - the fist thing Sup. Jenny says is quote "hey, hey, I am not your DOG, don't hey me"...... Yet, that is exactly what she said. I can prove that fact. All you have to do is listen to any of the several videos inside Starbucks. I was shocked that she responded in that manner. It was annoying. When she said, hey hey I am not your dog, it was an absurd thing. I hadn't been there for over 4 days, check my STARBUCKS records, and what Jenny said was, yes, you come here every day. That is a lie as well. I had not been there for over 4-5 days. Again Check RECORDS. People who where in line, who herd the respond from Sup. Jenny, advised me to submit a complaint. I called on June 9, 2020, to submit a complaint - after being transferred to Texas, a male Supervisor assured me that he was taking down all my comments, and submitting my complaint. Word for Word he said. I asked for a call back from a manager and was then advised that I wold. Two weeks later, today, June 26, 2020. My complaint was never really followed through. For starters, it never said what I had originally stated - for instance, the name of the supervisor, or what she had stated "hey hey, I am not your DOG"....was never written down on file.... Whatever policy STARBUCKS Customer Services might have, it is not truthful, and it is not trustworthy. District Manager Jennifer never bothered to call me, or respond by email. She never bothered to listen to any conversation I might have made, inside Starbucks, or with customer service. (She never bothered to listen, look at a video inside the Starbucks shop). It is simple - If a Customer ever submits a complaint on a supervisor, that district manager will doubtlessly not bother to follow through and listen, but simply ignore and restrict the customer from ever going there ever again. Starbucks, your customer service sucks. You sure as heck don't follow the integrity policy for so often promote. Good luck customers. And, the reason I bothered to write all this, is not that I am mad, or that I am upset....but that I am disappointment with Starbucks and how lousy its customer service (hiding a complaint) has done to it. read more

Granted I only came here to pick up a mobile order and spent only a few seconds inside the store but I had a quick and easy experience there. I ordered a caramel frap on the app and parked at the paseo. I found a spot really fast and then took the escalator to the top and Starbucks was to the right. I came in and saw my order at the mobile order section. That was fast! It took about 10 min from ordering to getting my drink in my hand. And wow the drink was delicious which you would think duh but I've been to stores where the drink isn't sweet enough and it doesnt taste like it's supposed to or what I rmeber. The barista who gave me my drink was sweet and guided me to the parking validation area. It also has a fairly big outdoor dining area. read more

This Starbucks has PLENTY of outdoor seating, but there is only one counter to sit at inside. So if you're going to sit down with a good book, or write the next great masterpiece :-/this probably isn't the place for you. It can also get a bit crowded due to how the store is laid out. There's only one entrance/exit, and it can be pretty difficult to get in and out depending on how long the line is and how many people are hanging around. Some other detractions to this location: there's really no "parking" at this location. There's street parking, and there is a lot at the Paseo (or whatever you call this place) but either way you're going to be paying for parking and walking a considerable distance. So all in all, this is definitely more of a "stop in" Starbucks. Good to get a quick cup of coffee while en route to something else, rather than a "coffee shop" where you might be tempted to get comfortable. read more

It's just like any other Starbucks really, the coffee is consistent of course so the only other thing to talk about would be the customer service and location. The customer service has been great each time I've gone. The lines tend to be longer at this location but in my experience they've move fast which is a plus. Per usual, the drinks are made in the order they are received and it usually takes anywhere from 3-5+ minutes before they are ready. I haven't had any mistakes with my drinks....then again, I don't usually request complicated drinks lol. The interior looks like any other Starbucks, they have their condiments table, their wall display with their mugs and coffee near the line, and food/pastries near the register. I am not sure who helped make my drink, but I always love it when the barista calls out our name LOUDLY when our drinks are ready. Very friendly staff, organized and clean Starbucks. I tried the Maple Pecan Latte - first time, and it was just alright for me. Not as sweet as I would like it, you can def taste the pecan tho. This is a Wonderful Starbucks. The last 2 managers have gone above and beyond trying to have a skilled and friendly staff. This store has more Black Apron Baristas than any other store in the area. To those that left reviews about them not breaking large bills...you are the problem. They cannot keep large amounts of cash on hand for the safety of their staff and the location. Notice...only 1 way in. EVEN IF... they broke a large bill for 1 person.. for $5 cup of coffee, it would leave them with a cash shortage...oh... and BTW... I know you had plastic on you. You just want to complain... there is a bank next door and a Bank of America ATM... you can see right outside. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They all try hard to make everyone welcome and the drinks right in spite of some the people that seem determined to make their work harder. TIP THEM WELL!! My husband and I had quick trip up to Pasadena last week and we stopped into this Starbucks location twice and both times we were met with some of the nicest employees working there. It's a pretty standard Starbucks, nothing that's really different drink-wise from any other location, BUT the customer service at this location was great. We really appreciate it. It's difficult to find a reason to complain about most Starbucks locations; certainly, the commonality of the offerings and pricing from store to store make any editorial on the business more about those soft-skills like service, attitude, and convenience, or physical traits like the queue organization, parking, or floor-plan. That considered, this SB makes a good Triple Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte, gets it out fast, and hands it to you with a smile. Due to its location, parking is very inconvenient-- in fact, I'd bet this location enjoys the vast majority of its business from pedestrians, local workers, and Paseo visitors who have committed to the underground parking for other venues. That makes this the ultimate complementary Starbucks in the area! ... Come for the movies/dinner/shopping, and stay for the coffee. read more

As a student, it's mandatory that I have hot fresh coffee in the mornings. Whether you want extra caramel, extra whip cream or an extra shot of expresso, starbucks has your back. Not only do they have fresh coffee they also have breakfast sandwiches you can eat on the go. On a hot summer day you can grab an ice cold acai drink which comes in many different flavors. Starbucks will always be my favorite place to get a drink. This place also has free Wi-Fi, so you can bring your laptop, and study. Like most any Starbucks, this one has super friendly and efficient staff. Two wks ago, I went there 2x in 3days for coffee and pastry, after walking around in the neighborhood, and I had good experiences both times, as expected. KUDOS to the BARISTAS Every time, there was a line, but the efficient baristas kept the line moving quite quickly. Everyone was friendly, greeting the customers cheerfully with a warm smile. - On one occasion, an elderly walked in with 2 crutches, a young lady barista offered to take his order to the outside patio for him! - Very nice of her indeed! :-) THE PLACE This store is located off the street by the Paseo Mall entrance courtyard. It has a small/cramped interior but does halve a nice, small patio seating area. From inside, one can see the nice patio through the glass wall, but there is NO ACCESS DOOR to the patio from the inside. To get to the patio, one must go through the front door by the street. Oh well, this is not unique to this locale, I mentioned this here simply because its "layout of the patio" gives one the illusion that one could just step out to the patio from the inside! I've never been greeted by a friendlier staff than at this Starbucks location. Ariel, Stephen and Giselle were all so cheerful and they greeted and helped me all with the biggest smiles. Not to mention Stephen made the hell out of my PSL. I come here all the time while charging my car at a nearby charging station. The service is usually top notch, even considering how small of store this is. Today definitely stood out with these three employees, I hope to see them again. read more

Conveniently located in the Pasadena Civic Center District, a few blocks from Old Town. I am here on a regular basis -- ordering via mobile and typically expecting my order to be ready by the time I walk 2 blocks over. Overall, my experience has been great. My orders have typically been timely and, when it is not, I do not find myself waiting more than a few minutes extra. The staff are super friendly. The only annoyance I have had is my drinks sometimes overflowed the cups and they are not cleaned up. Other than that, I like this Starbucks. read more

Starbucks located at the Paseo Mall, on the first floor. A small location with some tables in chairs (inside and out). WiFi is pretty fast. Drinks here and service is pretty standard to other Starbucks locations. The restroom here (unisex/ single toilet) requires a code in order to use it (9875) and needed attending upon this visit. Overall, just A-Okay, thus the 3 star rating. By the way, you can either find parking on the street (metered) or in the underground parking lot. But if you park underground, you will need to validate your parking ticket in order to get the first 90 minutes for free. I am not sure if Starbucks offers parking validation anymore (if not, then you can always validate your parking ticket at Q. The parking validation machine is at the register that you can self validate. Employees don't seem to care if you go in just to validate and not buy anything). read more

I can't agree with the previous review about being reliable. They lost my order; 30 minutes passed and they still didn't have it, so I had to leave. Staff complaining about work, making mention of possibly quitting...quite typical of today's workplace. I guess I paid for a chuckle and wasted half an hour watching people get stressed over coffee and life. This is an example of a pretty busy Starbucks. It was doing more business than any of the stores in the Paseo. However the House Coffees that we got tasted really burned and bitter not the way I'm used to have tasted stuff from Starbucks so perhaps it was a bad batch who really knows right but most people probably won't get back since they so many pass through. read more

I've been to multiple Starbucks stores, with varying degrees of experiences. One common thing is the amount of restraint baristas show when dealing with ridiculous customers. I admit, I've had my fair share of complicated drinks or asking to make my breakfast sandwich without cheese or asking for more almond milk in my coffee. I consider my actions annoying. But the people that come in here and expect to be treated like they are angels sent by god is astounding. This store is my usual go-to since it's close to where I live, and I've seen a ridiculous amount of mistreatment from entitled people. Let's face it, there will be times where I've seen some baristas look upset (I've seen some crying at other stores), but the crap customers put them through, I'm impressed at the amount of patience they show at this store. The reviews here complaining about service are definitely absolutely from entitled cry-babies that DO NOT respect other people and instead expect the baristas to grovel at their feet. I used to work in the service industry, from bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, and even retail stores. I know the amount of crap the workers go through for a measly minimum wage. This is a bigger issue now especially with the COVID pandemic, these essential workers are not treated with respect and kindness. To the j****** below me complaining, you're full of shit. I'm a regular and I've seen you be extremely rude to the baristas more times than I can count. You've even threatened to punch another customer once before. As a veteran customer service worker, you're what I would classify as a terrible human. Maybe instead of being impatient because your drink took too long or that the baristas wouldn't break the rules for you, maybe try exercising a little patience and even more understanding and compassion. ThIs Starbucks is really busy due to its obvious location and proximity to the theater, shops, and just general public walking up and down Colorado. However, they seem to be not as efficient as others that I've been to that are just as busy. The drinks themselves are good, pretty much typical of all Starbucks. read more

This Starbucks is terribly slow. They always have three or four people working but the only thing they're good at is figuring out how to maximize your time in line. I just get regular hot coffee so I don't need to wait for it to be made and todays visit took over ten minutes. Going to the Starbucks at the convention center from now on. I attempt to swing by here to pick up quick cups of coffee with about a 50% success rate due to crowding. Some kind of line designating partition or signage to let people know where they should and should not be standing in this very cramped environment would be a great first step to establishing some kind of order. I almost accidentally laid someone out while attempting to retrieve coffee because they casually strayed from the line to purchase and head first into my shoulder. It is a struggle to get coffee here. The workers here are great and are constantly hustling; this is mostly due to location and organization but some attempt to herd the crowd would make it much less aggrevating to get a cup of coffee. read more

Best customer service ever! I walked in with the intention of getting the new plant based protein and to my dismay it was disgusting. I told the barista Allison that I didn't like it and she totally mixed me up a yummy creation based on what I told her I liked. My new drink was sooo good. Ordered a Simple black tea lemonade which normally is done pretty quick, not this day! Waited 10 minutes. While waiting I had plenty of time to observe the store. It was not a pretty site!
