She is always offering the best choices for food or drinks when I feel like trying something new. She is very nice going above and beyond. I frequent this Starbucks quite often and I usually do a mobile order and have no problems, however, the one time I went to order in person the employee at the register -- I believe her name was Jacky, kept talking and gossiping with the other employees while taking my order. I normally wouldn't mind as long as my order was correct, however I was asking questions about a new drink and didn't even end up getting my question answered and when I finally got my drink, it was incorrect. When I attempted to ask them to fix it I again wasn't being attended because they were talking to each other. Sooo... I arrived at Starbucks and entered the establishment. When this lady called Jackie took my order, she kept looking away and talking to her coworkers while I was just standing there. I didn't mind it until I got my drink then the first thing i noticed that she went straight to talking her coworkers. I usually stop by this Statbucks when I am on my way home from Old Pasadena. Its one of the newer locations and bigger. Staff is really friendly and welcoming as well. My drinks were always made to perfection with no problems at all. Parking is available in the rear which is shared with other businesses next to them like Chipotle for example. They do a lot of filming at this location these days so it may be hectic but dont worry about the drinks. Youll get your drinks just the way you want it! read more

I love the new Starbucks which moved away from Wells Fargo; I'm still not sure about the address though. Everything is new and well designed, with brand new appliances, seating and outside seating too. I feel this is more upscale than the previous location, and serves the residents of South Pasadena much better than in a bank. The first opportunity I get, I'm sitting in the relaxed living room chairs under the skylight with the view of baristas preparing the most delicious drinks and smells of fresh coffee. This new coffee shop is located in a repurposed old bank that stood here for decades. I'm glad they didn't have to knock down the old building for a complete rebuild. There's plenty of parking on the street or the back parking lot behind Bank of America. They offer indoor and outdoor patio seating which is great due to this C19 pandemic we are still going through. Never again I will come to this Starbucks. My sister and I went to new Starbucks on a Sunday morning in October. We got there after 8:15am and waited patiently to be acknowledged and get our drinks. I could see our drinks was ready at the counter. The 2 workers was chatting and didn't give our drinks to us while 3rd one was busy making drinks and didn't acknowledge us either. As far as Starbucks go, this walk-in-only (inside a Wells Fargo), is pretty decent. The counter people are polite and one of the barrista's asked for my order while a neophyte was figuring out what she wanted to order... 5 minutes later... Thankfully, another register opened up and I scanned my watch and was out in about 4 minutes. Yes, it can get crowded and the in-the-bank layout is kinda weird, but the staff more than makes up for it. There's ample off street parking which is a plus since the street parking is limited. The happy birthday wish on my cup and the greeting by the barrista handing me my drink were really nice touches. In fact, a total stranger waiting in line who overheard her wish me happy birthday also wished me a happy birthday. It is a significant improvement. Spacious interior with long tables and seating area. Outdoor benches and tables in street side patio. This place is wonderful! The staff are SUPER nice and even stepped in when I was being harassed by a customer. A worker (maybe manager?) by the name of Anna needs a raise! She stepped in and stood up for me and made me feel IMMEDIATELY safer and reassured me that the harassment I was receiving from the unhinged customer was never appropriate or would ever be tolerated. She really went out of her way to make sure I felt safe and protected. It actually really made my day! I have come to this Starbucks several times and they never get my drink quite right and/or don't fill the cup all the way but it just happens to be the most convenient location for me when I'm working so I keep coming back and just keep my order simple. Today was by far the worst my drink was only 3/4 full and the add-in I paid extra for (caramel drizzle) wasn't even put on! I get it Starbucks demand is high because it is convenient and it is fairly decent coffee but honestly it isn't worth paying the inflated prices when they can't even manage to give you a full cup of coffee! They'll always make sure I'm happy with my drink. They work accurately and efficiently to keep the line moving. My favorite drink is the unsweetened white tea with heavy cream, stevia, amd a scoop of strawberries. I've been to this Starbucks 6 times in the last 2 months. Each time was on my way to work. As a creature of habit, I order a grande coffee and a egg white breakfast wrap via the Starbucks app. I'm thinking this Starbucks location is the victim of their own success. Each time I've gone in to pick up my order in the morning, this location is a madhouse. Long lines, along with people milling around annoyingly right in front of the pickup counter eagerly awaiting their order. If you're in a rush, you have to navigate through this mess, only to squint at coffee cups and food bags to see if your name is on them. The print out of your name is usually covered by those stupid paper rings, so you can't even see your name unless you pick up the drinks and slide the paper ring down so you can see the name on the label. But then when you do that, other customers get pissed off because you might be putting your finger germs on their drink... Anyhow, the madhouse part of this location makes everything unbearable. Plus my grande coffee is always lukewarm for some reason. And the egg wrap seems to come out 5-10 minutes later than the coffee order. If youre in this area, head to the other Starbucks on Huntington drive. Or else drive north on Fair Oaks to the other Starbucks location near Winchells. Those locations get busy too, but their staff seems to manage things way better. The net result is you're far less aggravated. At least I am. read more

I always have a good experience here. Staff is consistently friendly and professional. Had to try the unicorn frappuccino today. It's sparkly and colorful and the taste is actually good. Its flavor is supposed to change from sweet to tart as you drink it. I'm halfway through mine now and yea, that does happen:). It was a little embarrassing waiting for my drink this morning. At the time I ordered, I was the only crazy person requesting it. As I waited for my drink to be called, I cringed at the thought of hearing, "Kari, unicorn frappuccino" among all the summons for more sophisticated soy lattes and and nonfat macchiatos. It felt kinda silly claiming this drink as mine. But it was a happy way to start the day.
