My boyfriend and I stopped by because he was craving an açai bowl, but we ultimately decided to share the large watermelon bowl instead. At $16.99, it was quite pricey for what we received. The bowl itself was refreshing and had a pleasant flavor, but the watermelon smoothie base melted extremely quickly, becoming watery within minutes. Because of this, I likely wouldn't order it again and would opt for one of their smoothies next time. Service-wise, there was only one employee handling both the register and food preparation. I came in to claim my T-mobile deal. I recently got a new phone and didnt have the app installed. It took me a while to get it set up. The lovely staff member asked what I was going to order and she can get that started for me while I get myself situated. What I don't love is walking in on a hot summer day & seeing these poor employees all hot and sweaty due to the air conditioning being broken. I've been going to Jamba Juice for over 20 years, not once have I gone there when I had someone tell me that they don't have bananas They don't have blueberries. We only have... Seriously? Inventory shortages happen, but it seems like poor planning. I must say there are better locations but I happen to pass by and in need of a refreshing smoothie. Last time I wasn't able to come in since they closed early. I wish I would have posted a review sooner. I love this location!!! I come out to South Pas daily and I prefer to come to this location then the one that close to me in Covina. (No shade to the West Covina location lol) I normally come in the am and I always get my drink quickly. Of course if there are people before me I know they come before me and will have to wait. That's just about anywhere. Today I got Aloha Pineapple but I also have gotten Apples and Greens. Those are my go to drinks with a Parmesan Pretzel. They are always blended perfectly and taste fresh. The drink I purchased today did not disappoint. The place was clean and the employee working was very nice. If you are in or near South Pasadena and want Jamba definitely stop here. read more

I've been coming to the Jamba Juice here in South Pasadena for many years. This is one of the closest locations to me. Now specially for covid, things are a little bit different like many other places. They only allow two people in the store at a given time. The lines may look a lot longer than they actually are since there might be a crowd outside. Downloading the app makes it a lot easier and it also tells you an approximate time when your items will be ready. You're able to pay through there as well and look through all of the different offerings they have. It makes the transactions a lot easier and more efficient since everything is done behind the scenes. There might be a slight bottleneck since people are waiting to go inside. Typically I got a Caribbean passion smoothie and that is my go to. A lot of the other ones such as the mango a go go and aloha pineapple are also very good as well. The all fruit ones are great. The sourdough Parmesan pretzel is amazing and that's one of the food items I get. There's tons of parking here. But be careful because the driveway right in front of the store is a one-way come in at words. read more

I ordered a large smooth talkin mango smoothie and it was satisfying. I had this as a meal replacement and I felt full after getting about half way done. This smoothie tastes much less sweet than the classic smoothies because they use oat milk as the base instead of juice. I used to frequent its competitor, Robeks during undergrad because we had it in our student union and never really had the chance to like Jamba Juice then. Jamba Juice used to be really nice with much cheaper prices with great customer service but I think nowadays, a smoothie costing more than $6 for the smallest size is crazy. This is why I dont get to frequent Jamba Juice because its more convenient and cheaper to make your own at home with frozen fruit bought from any grocers. Nonetheless, we all get lazy to do that most of the times and its here to satisfy our thirsty needs especially during summer. I dont like eating fruit but if its blended and drinkable, I can do fruit with no problems. Though I lived in South Pasadena for more than 10 years, I probably visited this location less than 10 times honestly. My most recent visit wasnt impressive. The girl helped me was very dull with no customer service. She looked like she didnt want to be there which I can kind of understand but still, it definitely wasnt the best experience. I ordered a second biggest size I forgot what it was maybe 24 oz (not sure) in Aloha Pineapple with no banana just because I dont really like banana. But I think it had banana because I could taste it. I didnt take a sip until I got home because I had my cat with me and I didnt want to complain. There were only 2 employees working, which seems woefully understaffed. Orders took quite a long time to be made and staff weren't wearing masks or gloves. I think this is still one of the closest spots where I can get a smoothie from. When I was growing up, Jamba Juice was the jam and my favorite was the Citrus Squeeze and Strawberry Surfrider. When I got to college, I discovered Robeks and would get the Hummingbird. Now, that the Robeks locations I once knew about are no longer there, I can only really rely on Jamba once again. This location is never super busy when I go and the wait is never ever long when waiting for your order. Though the displayed menus have changed throughout the years, I do believe you're able to still mention off-menu items and they should be able to make them. Everything on their current menus sound so delicious its still difficult for me to decide what to order sometimes. Recently I've had Mango Tango, Razzamatazz, and the Acai Antioxidant... I wanted something tropical today after my workout so I asked the cashier what she recommended. She said mega mango could suit my needs and it was relatively what I was looking for. Then I decided to get a lemon ginger shot. It was my first time having that... Honestly pretty good. It cost $2 for a little shot- seems kinda pricey for a little shot, but I guess if you compare it to a $10 shot of tequila it's a good deal and healthier... lol.. Depends on how you look at it. Everyone knows it's not healthy because of all the sugar in the sherbets and all the calories each drink contains... but I'm not a strict health nut so can look past all that! Been craving this for a while and shared the unhealthiness by using a BOGO coupon Jamba has to celebrate its 20th anniversary. This place knows how to make most of the "secret" drinks, so order away! I crave Jamba Juice from time to time, and so glad that this location is so close to home. 4 stars! For years now, my favorite flavor continues to be Amazing Greens! Refreshing and delicious smoothie made from kale, peaches, lemon, bananas and pumpkin seeds. I also love the steel cut oatmeal at Jamba Juice with just cut up bananas and brown sugar whenever I'm too lazy to cook oatmeal at home! Service has always been good at this Jamba Juice location. Even if there's a line to order, I've never had to wait long for my order. Also, the people who work at this location are friendly and welcoming. This Jamba Juice location is on the small size, so it can get pretty cramped and crowded when it's busy. There's a couple of tables inside, but there's also outdoor seating, just in case you want to enjoy your Jamba Juice right there and then. Next to Jamba Juice are Baja Fresh and Penquins Frozen Yogurt, so parking right in front of Jamba Juice can be a hit or a miss. At least there's bound to be ample parking spaces in the Von's parking lot in the same shopping center within a short walk. read more

They need to upgrade the location. Seems as though you are drinking healthy smoothies but for the most part it's mostly sugar. It's not all fresh made there like some already made juice that they add to the smoothies which can have a high sugar intake. Opted out of going to the Jamba Juice in Pasadena since their parking is always a nightmare. I would have much rather dealt with nightmare parking than this nightmare experience I had here at South Pasadena. They were out of the spirulina that goes in my drink nd I had to sub for matcha. Not a huge deal since I understand products run low or run out because it is summer time. However, I find it unacceptable that a juicing place doesn't have a juicer to make fresh ginger shots. It was a hot day and this location was crowded, but the wait wasn't too long to order and the staff was friendly as usual. Jamba juice used to be my favorite drink shop until all these random boba shops, juiceries started popping up...they offer a variety of drinks from fresh juices to smoothies and breakfast oatmeals topped with fruits. Its been a while since I've been to one so I decided to pop into a random one.. Employees were friendly. I ordered a orange banana juice, something they've never seen apparently, because nobody seemed to know how to make it or ring it up @@?! I used to order this a lot (back in the days...so I thought it was on the menu?). Anyway, the employees tried their best to figure out my drink and even gave my daughter a mini kids cup filled with extras when I only asked for an extra cup. A nice little gesture as a little goes a long way ;) The juice itself tasted delicious with all those fresh squeezed super sweet oranges and a hint of banana (just the way I like it with only a tad bit of ice). Got the seasonal Jamba Juice, Gotta Guava and it made me really happy. Not too sweet and only 330 calories for s small .... Not too bad. This Jamba Juice location has the potential to be a thriving business, but the customer service I received on 01/24/2018 was horrid. The manger seemed was pleasant and helpful, but the young woman doing the work at the register is very poorly trained in customer service. She really should not be a customer facing employee. This is the second time I was met by her with poor reception. I watched her interaction with others after I left to see if it was just me, but the behavior was repeated. People should recognize that customer service quality is the main differential that drives choice in a competitive environment. It is so easy to take the dollars elsewhere. Heads up, employers.
