We stop by here when driving up to Lake Arrowhead from time to time. It has no drive thru but there is lots of parking. Customer service was ok here. I ordered a cappuccino and honestly it tasted like water. No taste of coffee whatsoever. Just water and milk. I would have gone back to ask for another but we had already driven off when I took my first sip. Starbucks used to be good but not anymore. Their coffee tastes bad, very bitter and tastes like the beans have been burned, it leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth. I'm not a Frappuccino or other fancy kinds of drink person which is why a lot of people come to Starbucks. To get their sugar drinks.

Love this location. Erika helped us out today.

The drink was made just the way I ordered it. Thank you for all your help. The atmosphere was casual and everyone was very nice and I would recommend this location to everyone I know. Very Clean.

This starbucks is packed on weekday afternoon. Lots of students "studying" on their laptop. Staff is nice and drinks are pretty good. They have 1 restroom in the back and you need to ask for the code. If somebody is hogging the restroom, you can probably go to ross next door.

Food is ok but the new CEO of Starbucks does not have a clue how to save the company. Rule number one. Tell the young kiddies to stop talking down their nose to adults. Most of you were still in dippers just years ago. The adults are so over your superior attitude. The store is ran differently everyday depending on who is working. Get a manager in here who will set some rules. The store is fine and usually busy. Generally clean. Please just fix the superior attitude of a few employees.

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my drink from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big since they share the lot with many other establishments. Some parking spots are smaller than others. Drink: I ordered a venti hot vanilla latte. Starbucks Vanilla Latte is a wonderful and creamy coffee drink with rich flavor. Great flavor and gives me the energy I need to start my day! Staff: The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

Starbucks is not my typical pit-stop for any drink Hot or Cold, I actually dislike their Coffee! But heard about the release of Summer Essentials and decided to give one a try. Paradise Drink ($4.95) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-pasadena-57?select=11e7BikP2k3wIvVDddjvJA Tropical flavors of Pineapple and Passion-fruit combined with diced Pineapple and creamy Coconut Milk. It was actually a good drink, I think the creaminess of the Coconut Milk makes the drink, it's nothing great, but it's good. 4-Stars

Ok let's be clear IMO Starbucks is. 3 star coffee shop. I give this PARTICULAR location 4 stars because of the staff. This is by far the best location in Pasadena area and there are many. But the staff are friendly. The location clean and most of the Baristas are on point. It's also located near the Sierra Madre Villa Gold Line Station so you can get a quick cup of Java before hopping on the train

I think Mandarin stands out a lot in LA as a dedicated Chinese specialty coffee perspective to the third wave scene. This place showcases exceptional single origin and light roast beans alike, offering coffee from renowned coffee roasters like Yunnan province in southern China. A signature beverage is the Gui Hua Latte, which is a delicate osmanthus flower, making the drink gently sweet and creamy with milk. My personal favorite, though seasonal only, is their Pineapple Espresso Tonic. It is till this day my number 1 favorite espresso tonic ever. Cool fact, this years 2026 US Latte Art Champion is a staff from Mandarin Coffee Stand! This shows how much of an expertise comes from this brand!

It wasn't until I looked up the directions that I realized how close this new location is to me. And I have to say, I think it was a pretty brilliant move for them to open the new branch in East Pasadena, since there's not as much competition in terms of independent artisanal coffeeshops. Like the OG location, Mandarin 2 offers the same specialty coffee, using exotic blends and beans imported from the Yunnan province in southern China. I ordered my usual - the Toasty latte - and enjoyed the sweet, earthy, and slightly nutty flavor profile that I have come to love. Unlike the OG location though, there's actually indoor seating here, a welcome change from the grab-and-go coffee stand in Pasadena's Burlington Arcade. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Driving in has great views of the mountains. Parking was easy and free on the streets. The restaurant was busy but manageable for a Saturday morning and Its self seating and pay first which makes it easy when ready to leave. Friendly staff, clean and nice decor With a decent selection on the menu. 2 of us ate - 1 regular burrito and 1 regular breakfast plate. Burrito was a filling portion to the point i was 'almost full'. Breakfast plate was decent, the one minus I had was the potatoes came out cold. I mentioned it when they came back around for the "how is everything" ask and they brought out a brand new plate of hot hot hot potatoes. Great service. Would recommend it and would again.

So I went with her recommendation & it was so yummy & filling! Very much enjoyed my meal! As for my drink I got the Italian soda which was in the flavor vanilla. It wasn't the greatest. So asked for more vanilla & it helped a little but just think other flavors are so much better ( strawberry, mango, berry) so I wouldn't order that again. Overall the place was busy always people in & out! It is a cute little local joint to do work on your laptop or have a meal. Staff was helpful & sweet! Would return be back for another burrito (:

Brightly lit interior with a simply designed aesthetic. Many folks were relaxing and enjoying the conditioned air. I decided on ordering an Oaxacan tostada which came completely smothered in black beans, cabbage, queso fresco, and salsa verde. It was refreshing and made for a quick, light snack while also being deceptively filling. While waiting for the order, I noticed their NY Cookies which came in two kinds. One was simply the regular chocolate chip variety, while the other came packed with white chocolate chips, ate de membrillo (quince cheese), and tejocote (hawthorn fruit paste). I decided on the second one and enjoyed the unique flavors of the bits and pieces, even though it was very sweet. All in all, would definitely come back to dine and chill out.
