I don't understand how this particular Starbucks consistently have the worst service ever yet still the busiest. Kudos to them for not having to care about good service and still be the busiest Starbucks in the area. My mobile orders are never ready and they don't update the app to what is or isn't in stock. This location is the absolute worst. They never have anything in stock yet the app does not reflect that an item is out of stock so you end up ordering it and they tell you they are out of EVERY OTHER OPTION when you arrive. I've had to go back for the rest of my order probably 4 times in the past 2 weeks because they never get it right. Staff doesn't care either, doesn't apologize for the inconvenience as that's the least they can do. This location is an excuse for a Starbucks store. read more

I never have any issues with this Starbucks and they are always busy so I order ahead on their mobile app. Today, I spaced and placed an order for pick up at the mall where I work rather than this location. When I went in Alexis instantly greeted me and asked if I had a pick up, while she was making someone else's drink for drive thru. When she couldn't find my order I realized my mistake. Without hesitation she said she would make the drinks and that it wasn't a big deal. I apologized and thanked her but she kept telling me it was no problem. She promptly got my order ready. Placed an order on the app. I put in my email and phone number. It charged my card. I went in to get said order and was told they had no record of the order. I look on the app and it shows no order history. I never got a confirmation email yet my card was charged. Spoke with Jessica who claimed to be a manager. If she is then Starbucks should seriously rethink their qualifications for management as she has no people skills. She tried to tell me that I might have reloaded a Starbucks card that I already told her I did not have. Then she tried to tell me that I might have ordered at another location. Wouldn't my order history show this. She offered to give me one drink. I told her I paid for 3. She said "I don't know that" when I clearly showed her my bank account. Tried to call the 800 number and no one answered. Worst Starbucks! Still didn't get my drinks. Luckily I can dispute it with my bank. read more

I have truly never had a bad experience here. The workers are all amazing, even as they're probably one of the busiest Starbucks I have ever gone to. Today, I completely messed up my order and even though the line was the longest I've seen, there was zero attitude and they offered to fix my drink even though I was the one who made the mistake. It's new (they moved from the Bashas strip mall at 75th Avenue and T-bird, which was tiny and usually dirty). Barista staff are very friendly here. The building is new and they have a drive-thru window, because I'm too lazy to get out of my car to go inside. I have no complaints about this location. Decent amount of parking. The atmosphere is so calm and welcoming, even when they are super busy. This was a more calm Starbucks than I'm used to which made it great to do homework in. There were not too many distractions and my drink and loaf of pumpkin bread were up to my expectations including actually giving me coconut milk instead of trying to pull the wool over my eyes. So I believe into the Starbucks about maybe four times at most, first few times I went there the barista's that took care of me were awesome friendly and very personable. Which I appreciate as I know others do as well. Last time I went there of this young woman I think she was a barista, said what can I get for you as she walked by into the back which I thought was odd, you know like don't ask me what you can get for me if you don't have any intention on stopping and helping me would like some respect. So then a nice very nice young lady comes gets my order and I put a few bucks in there tip jar because she was very lovely. And I'm waiting for my coffee, comes up pretty quickly and the woman that gave me my coffee is the reason I will never go back there again. read more

I went to this Starbucks because my normal one that's closer is being remodeled. I put in my mobile order like I normally do and drove over. This Starbucks does have its own parking lot and the drive thru line sits right in the middle of the parking. There wasn't a line so I parked and went in. I waited a minute or 2 and my order was ready. I walked out to my car and to my horror I was going to be boxed in by the line waiting for the drive thru. Yay. I got in my car and a nice person gave me room to back out. I backed out and was going to pull forward towards the drive thru area and realized there wasn't a way out that way. So...I pulled an Austin Powers move with a giant suv and 46754234 3 point turns in that little parking lot. Was not a great way to start out my morning lol I will return here while my normal SB is being remodeled It lesson learned I will be parking on the west side of Starbucks and not on the east side so I don't get boxed in by the drive thru. I find this is kind of an issue will all the SB but I keep coming back so it doesn't bother me that bad! ;) read more

People----it's Starbucks! Yes, you're going to have to wait from time to time. Happy to say I went through the drive thru last week and waited all of 4 minutes for arrival to departure with my fav cold brew. Today, I waited about 15. There was a pretty big inconsistency in my most recent drink, Venti Iced Vanilla Cold Foam cappuccino. Not sure why I've ordered it at least 5 times and it's come out delicious 3 of the 5. Today I went back, and while the wait was pretty long, it's a Saturday. Overall the employees are always friendly, drinks are good and if they're not they always seem willing to offer corrections. I wish there was a little more consistency to my new favorite drink but nothing negative that makes this Starbucks deserve anything less than 5*. read more

Ridiculously long drive thru wait. If someone in the drive thru got the wrong order, it would be courteous to ask them to pull around and wait in a parking space until their drink is re-made. I am not a huge Starbucks coffee fan (too bitter for my taste) but I can not deny that I thoroughly enjoy a Venti White Chocolate Iced with 2 extra shots and whipped cream on a hot day. When I'm feeling especially indulgent I'll spring for the Coffee Frapacino. The heck with the calories! The staff is always warm and friendly with big smiles and a ready welcome. I get a kick out of listening to the booming barritone voice of the barista. Don't know his name, but he is young and his voice and personality are that of a much larger guy. Personality plus. Usually fast, usually accurate. When they make a boo boo on a drink they give it to ya for free. Can't knock that kind of service. I love the whole ambience in these coffee houses even if I'm not "in love" with their "straight" coffee. read more

I find that they take to long to make a simple cup of watered down hot chocolate milk, and many other drinks. I have gone from one to an other to find that their quality control is so lacking. When I first had a Starbucks drinks it was the same always, but now it no longer has a standard in quality of their drinks. I find each location will vary in the quality of their drinks. I no longer live where I use to, and miss the quality of the drinks that were made there, and do not remember having to wait so long for my drinks close to my place of work, or play. On vacation here in Peoria and have come to this Starbucks 2 days in a row. Have waited over 15 minutes both days. The first day, one drink order was incorrect and a drip coffee was completely forgotten and I had to ask after another 10 minutes of waiting. The second day I came, we waited 20+ minutes for 1 coffee drink! I've been going to SBX for 10+ years and have never waited this long. Need more staff or better trained staff. They didn't even apologize for the wait, incorrect drink or missing drink. We will be driving to another store tomorrow for sure. read more

Went into the store for food. It took them 20 minutes to make one sandwich when they had a separate queue for food. They were unaware that we had placed an order. As we were leaving there was an employee taking orders in the middle of the parking lot and we couldn't get out. We sat with our rear view lights on for 10 minutes and the employee continued to take orders directly behind our car despite seeing us attempting to leave. Inefficient, slow, and constantly forgetting my orders. I stopped ordering from them in the morning because my drink is almost never ready on time even when I order 15 minutes ahead, and anytime I order food they forget it altogether. I actually wrote corporate one time because I was so frustrated and it didn't seem to have any effect. I don't know who runs this place, but they need a lot of help. Starbucks has done 1 thing I'm thankful for. My parents' generation had to deal with cheap diner coffee. Robusto beans which were cheap, high and caffeine, and make awful coffee. Starbucks helped to popularize higher quality beans in this country. That said I am not a fan. I gave up drinking pop 3 years ago. Black coffee is my replacement. That means I need something that has good flavor and is not too bitter. That requires light to medium roast and fresh beans. This location? Or all Starbucks for that matter? Dark roast. Very dark. It is great when you want an espresso drink or something sugary as a desert. But when I just want a plain and tasty coffee in the morning or afternoon? Thanks but most diners these days have better plain coffee. Come here if you want desert or need a pick me up and have no other option. Otherwise, not so much. The staff at this (and most) locations are nice. But it is not quite the experience I remember from even 5-10 years ago. read more

My favorite new Sbux location!!! They put some extra love into their drinks because their creations are always superior than other locations. So I've been coming to this location multiple times a week for the last 7 years & compared to any other Starbucks I've ever visited, this is the only store I will go to. Every single employee remembers me & my drink and never fails to strike up conversation. They make a customer feel important & cared about. Any time my drinks ever been messed up they willingly fix it without a problem or attitude. I truly enjoy coming in every morning & seeing my favorite baristas. Was debating between 1 or 2 stars because my breakfast sandwich and coffee were good, but chose just 1. The other bad reviews on this location are right on par with my complaint. My advice is to go to another location completely. The female cashier I encountered was rude. First, I walked in and looked at the pastries and she said hello 3 times like she was trying to rush me and there wasn't even a line behind me. When I asked if they had a particular sandwich available, she said abruptly said yeah and gave me a snotty look. Then, I gave her my credit card and she snatched it out of my hand. Ponytail'd shift supervisor is routinely rude and passive aggressive. Guy blocks off half the lobby 2 hours prior to close saying "it's off limits" but really he just doesn't want to clean the area so he can go home early. I asked a barista if the store manager, Tasha, approved of closing off half the lobby and she said she "had no idea." Further, I heard the barista on bar toss nasty remarks back and forth with other partners regarding my order of iced coffee with no ice, as if I had a lot of nerve to order a coffee with no ice when I'm paying for it. Bad service ruins the Starbucks experience even when your drinks taste just fine. read more
