However, in this location I have always had service with a smile and a real intent to make one feel special. I have even had the manager and other employees take my coffee to my table!!! Super convenient location off 83rd x Thunderbird. Not a whole lot for ample parking as typical with most Starbucks. The drive-thru, of course, is the most popular and I typically avoid it at this particular location. It's a cluster because unfortunately, you can enter the drive-thru from two different locations. You can sneak around the back by the dumpster and enter from the adjacent car wash parking OR you can enter from the parking lot entrance off Thunderbird. As such, there are now two different lines forming into the drive-thru resulting in a lot of butthurt from those who think they've been cut off and general confusion. The parking lot and entrance way are both clean. I've been greeted when I enter the location and at no point in time as my order even been screwed up. I always get the various drinks that I prefer and don't typically get any food or snacks so I cannot comment on the food. Employees have always been friendly and courteous to me. Not quite sure why there's so much hate for this particular location. It's a Starbucks. Not really sure what it is you're expecting. I'd knock off 1-star simply due to the fact that the drive-thru engineer really needs to be terminated from their job. You need ONE way into the drive-thru with a single-file line of vehicles to alleviate the middle fingers from all the entitled brats who think their morning is more important than everyone else's. read more

There are several trees and umbrellas that keep the area fairly shaded. A bike rack is available on the side facing Thunderbird. This location is a little further away from the freeway. Drive thru line can get a little long. Though it does move quickly. If parked where the line backs up, it can be hard to get out of parking lot. They've significantly gotten better with their drinks but only downside is that the parking lot is pure chaos. People can't seem to follow the arrow that says you're supposed to line up starting from the back and not in the parking lot. I got caught trying to get through the parking lot just now. A car lined up in the middle of the parking lot and I was trying to get around them and at the same time, another car was trying to get out of their parking spot. And because this is a 24/7 Starbucks, good luck finding a spot to sit inside and parking can sometimes be hard to get. read more

I Ordered 3 drinks at 7:51 this morning and walked out at 8:20. It took them 30 minuets to make three drinks, THREE! The store was so unorganized this morning and a 30 minute wait Even for Starbucks is ridiculous. It was super chaotic and it felt like no one knew what do to. Non-to mention that someone walks in in orders 12 drinks and gets them within 10 minutes and I saw at least three people come back in after getting their orders Having been messed up My order was also rung up wrong, but I didn't have time to wait another 15 to 20 minutes to fix it. This store is just the one from 75th ave and thunderbird relocated to 83 ave and thunderbird. The new store is very nice. Much more room and a drive through. Many of the old people are there along with many new and nice people. I have always been treated well by this group. Many know my name and I know many of their names but with the new people it will take some time. Go see them you will get a warm welcome. read more

One of my favorite locations! The employees are always super friendly and kind. Will have enjoyable small talk and they are fast and efficient. Drinks are always correct and have not been served a gross drink. Only irritating part of this location is the drive thru. Oh my gosh it's so busy all the time. I don't expect much from Starbucks, I know half of the time they'll either butcher my drink or name and I've accepted it. I've accepted it because even they mess my drink up I can figure out a way to drink it but today is just unacceptable. I asked for the caramel "drizzle" to be at the bottom of the cup instead of around the cup. I don't know if they were being extra sweet (no pun intended) or they are unsure how much is a "drizzle" the caramel they put is out of control I can barely taste my cold brew. This location is busy busy! We pulled up a little after 11 and the parking lot was packed and the drive through long. This is a busy area next to the freeway, shops, restaurants and Dr offices. Needed to get some studying done, and this Starbucks has a good amount of seating and convientent outlets to charge my computer. However, I went to get a refill on my iced coffee before I left and removed the lid, handed the barista the cup and scanned my card. After I walked away I saw her throw the cup AWAY and take the next guests order. I was shocked, I thought the whole point about the Starbucks same visit refill was to reuse your cup. Wow -just wow! I ordered a venti hot americano ....like I do almost every day from this location!! I'm wearing my mask, I'm following all of the rules but my americano tastes like just water with a hint of coffee! So I go into the store, because I was at the drive thru and I ask them if they can remake my American because it tastes "mostly like water with just a splash of coffee" and Jesus, behind the counter says to me, "but that's what an American is-water and coffee"! I just moved into the area and was happy to see a Starbucks that was located in the perfect spot. Problem is I would be better off walking into a grocery store to get my coffee in the morning. I think the management team here needs to pick up the pace. I wait 10-15 I'm a line with 4 cars in it every morning. The service here is sub par at best. They need at least 5-6 more employees. Went to the drive thru at Starbucks this morning, if you know me you know I live for caffeine in the morning like a crack addict, it's quite pathetic really anyway, it was a LONG line..I got to order and the girl interrupted me saying they couldn't take cards, only cash or the app, I didn't have cash and I haven't set up the app so I told her "that sucks" in a totally joking way but told her it wasn't her fault and we laughed and that I'd just wait in line.. with jack and Owen in the back..being tHeM we finally got closer to the window and the last person drove off, as I pulled up the guy stuck his hand out the window and said "wait!" I stopped and he said you ordered (my drink) and I said "oh yeah but I don't.." he said "here you go! My girlfriend and I stopped by as we were running errands, while I was in Arizona. There was no one in line and two people already sitting with their beverages. The staff was polite and courteous, not big on chit-chat or polite conversation. I decided to pay half with my Starbucks App and half cash, and the cashier looked like she was bothered.
