Horrible service. It was 95 degrees and it took 8 minutes after I ordered and the order was wrong! Took a few minutes to get someone's attention. Then he said it was coming but it was the guy behind me order. Then I asked how much longer they responded another 5 minutes or a refund. So I take one of the drinks (the one they got right) and waited in line for a refund, after five minutes I just walked out without a drink or refund. Bad, really bad! This is a very clean and updated Starbucks. Very busy too. Drive thru was backed up out into parking lot. Best route was to park and walk in. The line inside is short and seems everyone is more interested in the drive thru. Great!!! I was in and out in 10 minutes. I've had many bad experiences at this Starbucks but yesterday topped it off for me. They always have my drinks wrong in the drivethru. And yesterday I ordered a green tea with sweetener. And the girl goes "a green tea latte with sweetener?" No. So I corrected corrected her and she said "oh okay". I get up to the drive through and the total is $7 which I thought was a lot for a tea and a scone. My drink is the wrong size but at that point I didn't even care since I already had corrected her once. So I get home to drink it and it's a green tea latte with sweetener. Nobody would order something with that much sweetener to begin with it was disgusting! So instead of coming on here I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt , and called. They said I could get my drink remade but I said I would rather get my money back because I was overcharged for a way more expensive latte I didn't want. She said she would leave my name and number and the manager would call me. Never did!! So that was it for me. Avoid unless you want the wrong drinks AFTER correcting the barista AND being over changed. read more

I have been here couple times lately, and the servers are not on top of things. My hot chocolate that I have them sub a shot of Peppermint for the Vanilla that usually goes in never smells or tastes of any mint, unlike other Starbucks places. They are way too frazzled and it always takes a long time for the drink. Last time I was in, they had my cocoa already made but the maker got frazzled so by the time I got it it was cooling off. read more

I am so disappointed to have to write this review because I love Starbucks. I have no idea how a mocha can taste so different from one visit to another, but this location is literally like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde when it comes to the coffee. Sometimes the mochas are perfect, other times awful. This morning I had a mocha that was the worst I have ever had anywhere. Don't they have a recipe for these drinks?? First off all I'm a Starbucks junkie but this is THE BEST STARBUCKS I have ever been to. The employees are incredibly friendly, of course they always know my drink but this Starbucks...the customers are something special too. Every once in a while through the drive through a customer does a pay it forward, each person pays for the persons drink behind them in line. Can anybody top that? I think the record at this particular drive thru on a pay if forward was something like 15 orders? I don't like writing bad reviews but do so now with the hope that someone will read this and facilitate improvement. This Starbucks is consistently dirty, with filthy floors, counters with multiple spills and garbage, table tops not cleaned off, and today, for the second time, (including a previous visit) I have encountered a dirty bathroom with no toilet paper. Even as I walk out the door, the glass on the doors is so smeared and smudged it must not have been cleaned for days. I enjoy the convenience and the selection of some healthy food options that Starbucks has to offer, but this particular Starbucks is now low on my list. read more

They recently showed extreme carelessness, as a result of which a customer fell down. Felt really bad for the old lady. Her granddaughter helped her in getting up but none of the employees at Starbucks did. I was shocked to see Starbucks' lack of social responsibility toward its customer. I cannot believe how incredibly rude one of their employees was to me. First I should mention that my entire family frequents this starbucks daily. Usually we don't have any problems other than a long wait in the drive thru line. I can understand that completely. But what happened today is completely unacceptable...and they have lost my business for good. After a long wait in the drive thru line I pulled up to the window to pay. No smile or greeting was offered...I was only reminded of the price. I paid with my card. A moment later the woman handed me the first drink. I looked to see if she was going to hand me the second drink...yet I said nothing. The employee says to me, "What do you want?" So I explained that I was waiting for my second drink. Clearly I pissed her off by saying that because she said, "yeah well I'm getting it," with a major attitude. When she did return with the drink I commented that she wasn't very friendly. You know what her reply was? She said, "I was only trying to figure out why you were looking at me like I'm an idiot." Seriously? Who talks to their customers like that? I didn't even say anything. I was just waiting for a drink. I didn't look at her like an idiot. I certainly am now, because they lost a good customer because of that. read more

We went to this starbucks on 4/3/17 at 9:45 am through the drive through. When we got one of our drinks it looked disgusting and curdled, so we brought it in. The manager said don't worry we will make a new one. As we were standing there waiting for our drink 2 employees were making rude comments about us. Saying things like "ifs its not good enough for you, you can go somewhere else" and " there's nothing wrong with this drink" . Mind you they know we are standing there, so we said something to the manager, who did nothing but offer us a gift card. No thanks. But guess what we will not be returning to this crappy starbucks, who cant make drinks and are completely disrespectful. We will be making a call to corporate to discuss this further. Every time I go there the employees look like they hate their job. I have been a long time customer of this store and the new manager has no personality with customers. As far as Starbucks go, this one needs some improving. We stop here occasionally on the way to and from Tahoe, but today was the last time. The service was very cheerful but my skinny mocha was watery and burnt. I get one everyday at Starbucks in Sacramento and/or Tahoe and this was the worst ever. I also saw the server drop someone's scone on the counter and I thought she was picking it up to throw away, but instead she put it in a bag and walked back to the register and handed it to the customer. 30 minute wait time on a Sunday morning. Watched a barista take a break in the middle of a rush. Woman sat at the counter to order for 15 minutes. Both of our breakfast sandwiches where cold in the center. Girl who took my order didn't clarify with the baristas at the bar that my espresso shots where in a grande cup, barista asked, I clarified after 25 minutes of waiting That I said grande, she then turns around to drive through barista and starts trashing customers. Always a ridiculous wait compared to the Starbucks on Broadway. Also the Broadway baristas are way more professional and kind. Multiple other people visually upset about wait times and how long it was taking, but then the baristas are overheard saying their wait times "wheren't that bad" which obviously wasn't true. Maybe not for the drive through but your whole sales floor was standing room only. Wish they could step their game up. read more

We frequent this Starbucks several times a week. There product is always excellent, but there house keeping leaves a lot to be desired. The floors are oftentimes wet and messy. The customer mixing counter is usually messy. I realize that they can get really busy but I have seen workers just standing around when they could be cleaning. Having worked in the food service business I know that the cleaning never ends. I think there needs to be better supervision and motivation. I don't want to abandon this venue but there is another in the same parking lot (Safeway). They just need to pay attention to the details. read more

I have been in this Starbucks several times at 10:00 am in the morning and they are out of sugar. There is a Safeway market in the same shopping center. Why wouldn't a manager ask an employee to go buy some sugar packets for their customers. I sat for over an hour with my sugarless coffee, and continued to hear the employees apologizing for no sugar. If I could give ZERO stars I would. The baristas here don't have a clue how to make even the most"basic" drink right. I have tried so many times at this location hoping maybe it would get better. Today was it. I went through the drive-thru, ordered an iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel and again, they hardly put any in at all. I park, go inside, wait through a fat line (still being patient at this point because I know they're busy) re-order it, she says no problem, only to get the same screw up again. I said nicely, this is not what I asked for. The barista argues with me coming up with some lame excuse as to why it's the way it is. Funny how Cameron Park store always gets it right. This is like the third time I've had issues/attitude with this crappy location. Definitely not going back. I'll make the extra trip to Cameron Park where they know what they are doing.
