Inside with no outlets Lakeside location Plano, TX , Preston and Spring Creek Pkey

This Starbucks has only one electrical outlet! Had to scramble to find another team meeting place , they lost at least 10 sales plus future sales. Must have been a dummy who design this location, As a Lakeside resident, I was ecstatic when I saw a new Starbucks under construction, but this one is a huge disappointment I've never seen such poor planning.

Walked in and got service along with my drink right away. Drink was made correctly and was enjoyable. Descent sized seating area with charging plugins below the seats. Napkins and straws were well stocked. Super clean restroom at the time along with clean lobby area. Great staff and service. One of the better Starbucks I've ever been to. As of 12/2023, construction is taking place, therefore some of the parking lot isn't accessible. 2-3 months it should be completed by 2/2024 -3/2024.

Irish Cream Cold Brew Coffee

First off, kudos to this Starbucks for a) having the Irish Cream Cold Brew and b) accurately reporting so in the app. I drove to two other locations which falsely advertised having it. Although they had it, it was made unlike any others I've had and a little too bitter for my taste.

NO DRIVE THRU Smallish Starbucks in upscale shopping center. Offers full menu of items, snacks, pastries, sandwiches. All tables are small. I found just 3 electric outlets. 2 unisex ADA bathrooms, but no baby-changers. Outdoor seating is nice. Indoors has 4 of the leather comfy chairs. This is an older, but very nice Starbucks. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Nice neighborhood, and huge parking lot. Chill your dogs right here.

When you ask for light ice AND THEY GIVE YOU LIGHT ICE!!?!!! This is true! This is a smaller Starbucks, not a ton of seating but fairly spacious. Their staff is really friendly and greeted me upon entering. I ordered via the mobile app and they had my drink ready even before I got there. I do wish the app kept up with the distance you're traveling and how long it will take for you to get there so that by the time you get to starbucks, the drink is hasn't gotten cold or the ice melting. Anyway, I had a short interaction with the staff, but they actually have a small area in the front next to the cashiers where you can pick up your mobile order! Convenient, although I wish it was at the pick up area, which made more sense to me.

Pretty display. Well stocked.

Inside has lots of sitting areas, but it does get filled fast with people who want to relax and study or read a quiet book to themselves. There's seasonal drinks are delicious, but I stick to my tried and true- Beez Kneez I had a little modification of a little extra honey, and a few splashes of heavy cream. If you ever tried and loved the Bell milk from La La Land, you'll know why I quickly became addicted to adding heavy cream too all my coffees lol Everyone there is always so friendly and quick to recommend things if you're deciding between two different drinks. I always get a little envious of how every suburb of Dallas seems to have such a cool town square,…read moreand Plano is no different. Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

Inside they have a few tables on the first floor across from the matcha pick up area, then theres some merch also which were all super cute mugs to coffee bags and even t-shirts. I also do love the options where you can switch out the foam flavors or sweeteners to like strawberry foam I believe because that what my friend got and she said it was good! It's a really cute 2-floor coffee shop and the service is friendly and quick. It provides the perfect space to meet someone over coffee, or to work from the shop. The coffee here has a signature sweet cream, which is delicious, however it disagreed with my stomach both times I had it. The first time I got and iced latte with their regular milk (I'm assuming whole milk). It tore my stomach up!!! The second time I went, I got the same latte but opted for Almond milk instead. Why did it also mess my stomach up?!! It's so upsetting to me, because I love the vibe of this place and the way that the coffee tastes, but unfortunately, my lactose intolerance hates Summer Moon. I don't have this problem with Starbucks, 151, Dutch Bros, or Paris Baguette. It's so disapointing, because I'm a sweet cream iced latte kind of girl, but I think it's a wrap for me.

If you're someone who finds traditional matcha a little too strong or grassy, this is a great option. It was lighter, fruit-forward, and the mango flavor came through nicely. The pastry case also caught my attention--everything looked fresh and incredibly tempting. I didn't get a chance to try any this visit, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the pastries next time. Overall, a nice spot for a lighter matcha drink and worth checking out if you're looking for something a little different. Staff was sweet and organized as they were a bit busy.

Trisha took my order and was super awesome at making many great recommendations while Miriam cranked the beverages for the people ahead of me. Loved the GF option for an almond loaf. This reminds me of a wonderful home cafe mixed with a nice southern coffee shop. They even have seating outside for a beautiful day like the day I went. Very Austin vibes. Seating options are from regular wood bench to a cozy couch. Loved the live plants that add fresh air and a nice atmosphere. They had low playing music that was very urban so you can carry a conversation while supporting smaller artists and working on work. Headphones if you'd like your own music would be great and wouldn't be interrupted with the music playing in the shop. Biscoff caramel latte: Wonderful flavor of coffee. I was fearful it'd be too sweet but it was perfectly sweetened. The Biscoff crumbles add the Biscoff flavor and the caramel isn't overpowering. It's a soft balance of the two together. The foam was pleasant and would recommend hot. Personally would love a stronger Biscoff flavor cause Biscoff is my favorite cracker. But other than that, a super solid beverage. Almond Loaf (GF): The crumble and moist texture were perfect. Not too crazy of a GF taste. Different but wonderful. The top has a crumble similar to Almond croissant that is so satisfying if you're craving a lil more sweet with your bite. Together: Wonderful together. The almond loaf isn't dense but it doesn't completely fall apart either. Super happy.

The staff was really kind and helped me navigate a few syrup options since I am dairy free. I finally settled on a large almond milk late with two sugar in the raw. I quickly realized this is not an overly digitized coffee experience, which I like, but it did mean it took a lot longer to make my drink than I anticipated. The kind barista finally gave me my drink and we had to jet out to make football practice. The ambiance was chill. Almost every seat in the place was taken by someone with a laptop so I'm not sure I would come back here with the intent to find a seat. The latte was okay. The espresso tasted a little burnt and was actually quite weak - I wish I had gotten an extra shot. I'm glad I made it back to try Mudleaf, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to try it again.
