You walk in and are immediately greeted by music which invokes a chill vibe. It's a place where a lot of UCR students hang out. The coffee drinks and the deserts we chose were really good. When we received our matchas, let's just say it tasted exactly like it looked: mostly milk with very little matcha flavor, topped with subpar cold foam. This is by far the most expensive, worst-tasting matcha I've ever had. I can usually find a way to justify things or give a place some grace, but this was beyond help.

I ordered a skinny caffe mocha at around $5. _____PRESENTATION_____ The drink tasted like others I've had in the past. The location itself is in a nice plaza. There are two restrooms so you shouldn't be on the waiting game if you need to use the restroom. There is a big community table with stools. This table was a lifesaver. I can't say enough of how clean this place is! It seems after each customer, the employees are cleaning up the area where all the toppings are located. I have been to other yogurt places where the toppings are all over the floor and mixed with others - NOT at Sweet Frog in Canyon Crest! This place is immaculate! The yogurt is always delicious and the selection of toppings is enormous. They also have a punch card where after so many purchases, you get a free yogurt. I am hear now meeting my Realtor and this place is great! The young lady behind the counter was very attentive and the line moved quickly. I ordered a hot black tea and he made it for me instantly since it was just hot water and a tea back. That was great since there was a long line of specialty drinks before me. I have tried to give this location a chance multiple times... The barista with the black hair and glasses is very rude on both occasions. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt for her maybe having a bad day--but for her to be treating customers so poorly and having the worst attitude I cannot support this Starbucks location for allowing their employees to treat customers with such a bad attitude. read more
