So sad I was there for 5 min waiting in line. Got to the front to order and the cashier walked away to pull food orders. There was already someone in the back pulling and doing doing food orders. At the time I was there 1 cashier open, 8 drinks in the back still needing to be made. It looked like 2 if 3 baristas making drinks. The lobby was packed. Went to place an order on the mobile app that was 8 to 14 min wait. You would more baristas would be working in the morning and another working the front. What sucks I reloaded my card this morning in hopes of coffee. Do I pick coffee or be late to work? I understand SB are busy locations. read more

This is definitely the study Starbucks. The layout is pretty nice - you have several arm chairs spread throughout the room for a more rustic feel to the place. Each is stationed by outlets along the wall, which there are plenty of - in some situations, 2 outlets per chair. The center is divided up into a long table with tall chairs where people like to bring laptops and books to study. The staff are nice - even when people just get a cup of water, they have no complaints whatsoever and are pretty courteous. I would definitely study here over most other Starbucks locations, and I would even. Is it for just a chill. As far as their drinks go, I would say pretty standard. I ordered an iced chai tea latte and liked it as much as I was hoping I would. It's a nice atmosphere here. read more

I placed a mobile order before leaving my home. I arrived and watched the line at the door be completely taken care of until no one was in line, get their craps and lattes, and I was STILL waiting. After TWENTY MINUTES, I asked and was told my simple Americano was two drinks away. There were at LEAST 12 people waiting for mobile orders. You're better off ordering in person. It's always confusing to see people complain about the wait time... maybe pre order or expect to be a wait. You are not the only one who wants coffee/beverages too. Ace is amazing and very much appreciate his customer service! I've been going to Starbucks forever, and I always get the same drink. By mistake, another store had put sweet cream in my drink instead of half and half. I was close to this store and thought I would ask if they would replace it, if not I was going to purchase another because I couldn't drink the one I had previously gotten! The atmosphere of this location has changed dramatically. Customer service is very robotic, no charisma what so ever. What's worse is that the drink presentation is horrible the multiple times that I have been in there. Under poured in one drink, over poured and spilling on the sides in another drink. What's bad is that baristas are okay serving the drinks like that. The cherry on the cake, they have attitude when you let them know that it's not okay that a quarter of the drink is on the outside of the cup when it's suppose to be nside the cup and that you need a wipe down before you grab the drink. They act like you just caused them so much inconvenience, have a stink face about it, and doesn't even bother apologizing. Just pathetic since I used to love this location. Part of the Starbucks mission statement is "... it starts with the promise of a perfectly made beverage, but our work goes far beyond that. It's really about human connection.." I studied here for finals recently and spent a lot of time in this store for a week or so. Seems like none of the people who work here get along. Always weird vibes in here and they aren't shy about bickering in front of customers. Most of the baristas are not very friendly and the drinks are sub par. One day I listened to the cashier tell at least 5 customers in a row how tired she was. Who wants to hear about being tired when they go for coffee? Don't dare ask for a recommendation or you will be served with the easiest thing they can make. On a better note: The store is in a cute location, it's kept very clean, and there is plenty of room to study. Just don't expect a delicious drink or good customer service. read more

I have been a Starbucks customer for over 10 years now and never had an issue with them. Today the night shift employees at this location were incredibly unprofessional. They left the drinks in the corner and thirty minutes later, it was to my surprise that my frappuccino had melted half way already. Then to my dismay, I came back from using the restroom and it looks like the employees were so eager to wrap up and call it a night that they started putting seats over my table DESPITE how my laptop bag was still on the seat. I have never felt this strong sense of unprofessionalism from Starbucks. I expect more than that from them, a coffee company that supposedly focuses so much on customer service. read more

Since they are located in a very busy center and college they get pretty busy. But I love how they always do their best to accommodate you! Always a clean environment as well. If you want to get your drink faster please use the app. That's what I do when I am on my way to work since I work in the plaza as well. I will order online, park, pick up my order then head on over to the salon. No matter how busy they are they will always end with a smile. This is where I go to pick up my daily dose of caffeine before class since it's about a 2 minute drive from my house. It's in the same plaza as Ralphs, Carl's Jr., Extreme Pita, etc. Easy entrance, easy parking, easy exit. This location in particular is always clean despite it attracting heavy foot traffic. The employees are friendly, but that's to be expected at any Starbucks! I'm glad that this location is no exception to that standard. It's rare to find a space open during the middle of the day to study inside, but there's plenty of seats outside as well. You could watch the little floor fountain shoot up water, and it's just an overall relaxing ambiance. Decent location for people watching as well if that's your fancy. The only complaint that I have is that every Wednesday when I come to pick up my regular iced white chocolate mocha, they always give me whipped cream when I ask for no whipped cream. Maybe he thinks it's funny, but he seems to be the one regularly working during the hour I visit. I don't mind enough to stop going, but it'd just be nice if I could get my drink without whipped cream that would drip onto my car and laptop... read more

I was really disappointed in the lack of customer service and organization at this location. I think it was the worst Starbucks experience ever. After waiting in line outside for well over 2O minutes, I opened the door to check on my order (after watching other people behind me do the same) I got scolded for walking in. Walk up order line was moving faster than mobile orders and there was no one letting anyone know what was going on, finally when a gentleman came out I asked him about my order and he said they are working on it. After watching more people come and go he finally says there was no order placed for my green tea it didn't go through. After all that the other employee said they are out of green tea. At this point I had wasted half of my lunch for one drink. Never once did they apologize and offer a solution. Needless to say I will not do that again. I just moved to the area so this is my new neighborhood Starbucks and I couldn't be happier. The staff are all friendly, warm and dare I say perky at all hours of the day and night. I'm a freelance writer, so it's a fair assessment to say I make money in proportion to my caffeine intake that day and I may be in there at opening or at closing. They just finished a "remodel" yesterday which basically means they've switched out some art, chairs and replaced a bunch of single tables for one long one. I like it (again, I write from here several times a week so it suits me) and the staff doesn't seem to keen, but I'm curious to see the overall reaction on Monday morning from the regulars. Like everyone else has said, there is a water pad fountain where the kids play (my munchkin loves it) and it's next to a pizza place, a Cold Stone and a pita place too. Fabulous WiFi, super sweet staff and a very chill atmosphere where people really do get to know your name. In fact, I just learned a few of the regulars names myself this week. I've been going to this Starbucks for a few years cause it's so close to my parent's house in riverside and a great study spot for me. Came back to visit my parents for the weekend and went here to study for a few hours and didn't realize they had remodeled! It looks fantastic and I love the new set up with everything. There's so many outlets on the long table in the middle of the store and it's pretty convenient! One downside is that there are two single separate tables on the corner and they don't have wall outlets except behind the spices and trash cabinet. Service is overall still good. Got a gal who wasn't as friendly than the normal ones that usually take my order, but it's no big! read more

In 2 miles area there are 4 (or 5?) Starbucks. This one is the best to have a seat and relax because of the quietness that neighborhood has. I can almost assume brewed coffees in this area have same taste. However, this Starbucks is much more brighter and quieter than the others. There are couple of (4) tables outside, inside has more than 4. Nice place to study, but gets colder some times in daytime. The Market Street Starbucks is the start of business and is a GOOD MORNING to Riverside, California. Located within a 5 mile radius of the major freeways and downtown. amd rather your going or coming North, South, East or West this spectaculor coffe and expresso market definitely gets anyone on there feet and on the way for a good start. Some of the other features that continues to keep me as a customer is the variety of drinks whether hot or cold, New York Times, and other literature and events surrounding riverside and some of the other counties close by. . It is also a place for networking, getting to know who is who, or just to say simply Good Morning. The starbucks in downtown riverside was well planned. It is in the center of all major development. within Riverside County which has been granted 1.86 billion dollars in restoring, rehab, and builiding downtown to attract local and outside business. Some of the business that have been built within the past year as I look out the windows at starbucks are a skyscraping hotel that has a stake by Merrill Lynch, Mission Inn extensions, Riverside City College Performing Arts building, Restoration of Fox Theatre and several restaurants, homes, apartments, space to rent buildings. It is constant development and traffic in the a.m and the aroma of starbucks definitely brights up the scene and complements the architecture that is being created. read more

I went in recently on an empty Sunday morning at about 6:30 a.m and waited 17 minutes to get 2 lattes. There were 3 employees , 2 were overly pre occupied with the to- go orders and seemed to concentrate on preparing those rather than offering any sort of customer service at all. Dropped into this Starbucks with a friend yesterday and I was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I'm usually "eh" about the service at most Starbucks locations. But the girls here at this one really struck me as going well beyond. They smiled and greeted us when we walked in and took to time to talk to us and understand what's happening in our day. Our drinks were done in practically no time and they were just right. I always order mine extra hot and it's rare that the other locations get it right. This location was spot on.
