I've lived in this city for 5 years and have come to this Starbucks every day. Today I placed an order and couldn't make it to pick it up. It was wonderful that Jose helped remake it for me. I found him very sweet and friendly--more than many people I've met. Thank you.

Absolutely disbelief While ordering a drink, an attitude was given just because of asking questions. By Stephanie. In the middle of the day, they had a closed restroom- against the law in the state of CA... When we asked why we couldn't go to the bathroom, the manager (the same lady who was serving us) started screaming that we didn't need to order drinks, since the toilet sign was already closed when we came in. At the same time, the cleaning lady started to scream at us that she needed to go home ... Wow... the worst customer service ever at Starbucks... I'm also attaching a photo of the " clean restroom "

Terrible customer service especially the young girl with a black hair, doesn't smile at all and very snobbish. Doesn't seem happy to be there.

Did not like this location. Restrooms are locked/closed to public to prevent unhoused people from using them. There's no seating or place to sit which I think is also to prevent unhoused people from spending time there. I would not return. Our coffees were go though. It's just unfortunate to see how empty this spot is. So uninviting.

I do not recommend this Starbucks, the ambiance was not inviting and the barista was rude. I told her that I was waiting for my husband to order and she mumbled that I was taking too long and walked away. I ordered 2 vanilla lattes and I asked for children's temperature, she nodded as if she understood. When I received the coffees they were both hot. I do not recommend this Starbucks.

My boyfriend and I are visiting Santa Barbara for the first time and stopped here early this morning. The staff was very nice and helpful, and I definitely have no complaints whatsoever about this place!

My go-to corner Starbucks. There's not much street parking but I use the Starbucks app to place my mobile order and get there early enough to park and run in for my order. This team almost always has my order ready on time with 90% accuracy. Good odds considering how often I go! Always fantastic customer service. I don't think I could be so chipper that early in the morning.

We ordered a hot vanilla latte with oat milk, an iced vanilla latte, and a matcha green tea. The dark roast in the coffee had the perfect balance of bold flavor and sweetness. I honestly enjoyed every sip of it. Everything tasted smooth, rich, and well made. The place itself was clean, organized, and even the bathroom was spotless, which I always appreciate. Overall, such a great coffee stop in Santa Barbara. Definitely coming back!

On June 5th between approximately 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM, at State st location, I ordered a Strawberry Milk Matcha at the State Street location. The drink I received looked significantly different from the advertised product and appeared improperly prepared. When I politely asked about it, the employee immediately became defensive and repeatedly insisted that the drink was correct instead of taking a moment to understand the concern. Fortunately, another employee stepped in and offered to remake the drink, which I appreciated. What disappointed me most was the customer service. When I asked the employee for his name so I could provide feedback, he told me that I did not need to know his name and that it was irrelevant for me to know. I found that response surprisingly unprofessional. Mistakes happen. Drinks can be remade. What matters is how customers are treated when they raise concerns respectfully. I spoke with a manager afterward, who apologized for my experience, but I left feeling that the issue was minimized rather than truly addressed. I choose local businesses over large chains whenever possible. That's exactly why this experience was disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because Dune has built a strong reputation in our community and I would like to see that standard upheld.

The location is adorable, and the convenient 15-minute parking spot right in front made it an easy stop while we were traveling down the coast. Bonus points when the breakfast is actually good too and this spot delivered on both. I'll admit, the signature drinks are a little pricey. Paying $11 for a coffee with a toasted marshmallow on the side definitely had me questioning my life choices for a second... but honestly coffee was good. The gals taking our order were ok...Ambiance was nice but it did feel a bit tight in there. The breakfast was well done-- the almond Croissant was amazing, and the cortado was perfectly made. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

They sell lots of flavors of Turkish coffee, and I was used to a sweetened and cardamon flavored version I had had in Egypt, Jordan and Israel, so I opted for the cardamon version. What they serve here was unsweetened, so I needed to add sugar, but it was good. On the sweets side, they have cheesecake, baklava... but the dominant sweet here is Turkish Delight. They have a myriad of flavors here, using various Middle Eastern nuts and spices as flavoring. They have the traditional cubed gelatin version, along with a rolled version that is a little softer and less chewy. It is all sold by weight, so you can mix and match.

Anyways, I knew they have a SB location, so when my sister asked me to go up to SB with her for business, my one hope was that we could stop by here because it is just THAT good. I love their selection of Turkish Delights. The flavors are just so unique to me, for instances, the Blackberry, Almond & Almond Cream Turkish Delight was so good, I had to get me a little log of that, and of course, the Rose Petal Covered, Pomegranate & Pistachio Turkish Delight. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but my justification is, one it is a treat for myself, and two, I don't know how to make it. The space is cute, and I love that you could even order tea/coffee and enjoy it in the shop with your sweets. Lastly, I appreciate that they give samples of the different Turkish Delights!

We tried multiple other places that didn't have outdoor seating (so not dog friendly), but then we found Caje on State Street. It's on a protected set of streets where there are lots of shops and stores. There's common outdoor seating just outside the store, which met our objective of hanging out with the dog. Granted it was a hot day, but this store was really really hot inside, like unpleasantly so. I felt bad for the barista! The coffee is reasonably priced, all things considered (fancy flavors, Santa Barbara, crowded location) and the flavor was nice and not one I've personally had before. I asked to go light on the ice and they did a good job there. The wait was a bit long, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was all fine. Good place to stop and relax and have a good tasting coffee.

We went to the Haley St location first only to find out that they didn't have any outdoor seating. Some folks posted pictures of their other locations under the Haley St listing by mistake. :-( We then drove to this location, which fortunately wasn't too far away. It did take a while to find parking, though. It's a small shop with limited seatings and it felt rather hot inside while waiting for our drinks. They were quite busy, and there's only one guy preparing the drinks while another person took our orders. On the other hand, it's cool and shady in the spacious outdoor seating area of Paseo Nuevo, which was right outside the store. I had a small Iced Rose Matcha Latte with 2% milk. The beetroot powder and rose petals on top looked pretty but the Matcha taste wasn't strong enough. Our daughter had a small Iced Hibiscus Tea with Lemonade, which she said was just ok. I had a sip of my husband's large iced Salted Pecan Latte with light ice and almond milk and it was a bit too sweet for me. If we're in the area earlier next time, I would rather try their other Signature drinks at their Arlington St location, which appeared to have a beautiful courtyard as well.

I quickly hopped off the 101 and hopped into the cafe. I ordered a cold brew from the very nice gentleman at the counter, and he served it up. Nothing crazy there. It was definitely a place designed for a spot of coffee and a small snack/meal. I saw plenty of people doing some studying there too. I'm sure that's a great place to do it. Onto the coffee. I ordered the cold brew black, so I was off pretty quick. I got in the car and took a sip. It was a pretty dark roast, and I wanna say pretty French in roast profile? I dunno. Anyways, it was dark, a little muddled in flavor, and not as good as other options in the area, in my opinion. That being said, it was in no way bad, and because everything else was closed, I was happy to have had something. It's not the coffee for me, but I think it's plenty good for a cafe drink and a light meal!
