We walked into Starbucks on Soledad and Via Princessa and noticed they did an uplift in the store. Sheila the supervisor greeted us at the door with a smile and a very positive and upbeat attitude. She took the time to have a conversation with us about the new uplift and her goals for the store while staying on task with her job. They demonstrated the foresight and courtesy that defines true hospitality by accommodating a simple request for water without hesitation. Conversely, my experience at the Starbucks 3 minutes earlier, on Soledad and Whites Road was an exercise in blatant hostility, where a staff member responded to the same request with a condescending, confrontational demand that I place an order first. The contrast is jarring: while your team understands that human dignity is a prerequisite for service, the staff at the other location seems to prioritize petty power trips over basic decency. Super easy to order, there was a little bit of line but went by fairly quickly! Drink was perfect!

I really like the huge amount of space that there is inside of this café. On top of that, I placed an order for four or five different drinks. And of course, each of them had very specific request and specifications to the drink preparations. But still, this did not cause them to waiver and quality at all. Everything was delicious and everything was made correctly. I had no reason to ask for any drink or anything to be remade. The only thing I did ask for was a grande size water cup of ice water to take along with me. I made sure to go back into my app to tip these fine people. I love how clean the store was and how everything was organized. And then, even on top of that, everyone is very friendly. That was just a nice very simple experience. read more

We walked in and ordered our drinks. Drew waited on us and he is the most patient guy ever! I was buying 20 gift cards to hand out to people who look like they are having a bad day and I put a scripture card in it to give them hope. Drew did not rush me and he has the patience of a Saint! My drink was a little down from the top of the cup so I asked if he could fill it to the top and he said he would with a smile. The drink was outrageously good! This Starbucks is small but very clean and the counters are spotless. Something I noticed in this one is they have a light up sign that shows your name when you order. Then it shows in progress and then when it's done. They are well stocked with coffee, drinks, food and cups to buy. People of all ages go in there. It's a really nice Starbucks. read more

I came to this place after the hike to get a nice refreshing drink. I wanted something light so I got the Strawberry açaí lemonade. The good thing about this place was that the restroom were open and it was very clean. The service was good and the drinks came very fast. The bad thing about this place was that the seats were very limited and only 3 tables and 6 chairs were available inside. I also had a problem with the drinks. The drink was not filled up all the way and they run out of strawberry fruit that goes inside. Their was also some leaf piece inside my water for some reason which was weird. Some of these problems are made by the workers and the state of the corona virus and the company but I think this place can be better in my opinion. I hope by next time the place can go up to a 4 or 5 star for a better review so more people can come here and enjoy the drink. read more

There's a mobile order went through successfully but the store is closed. I'm not sure how they're synchronizing Starbucks stores with the Starbucks application, but the issue should be addressed. This is not the first time and I'm pretty much sure not the last one. The receipt clearly says please approach the counter and ask barista for the order but I don't have the keys from the store. I placed a mobile order in which I specifically asked for light ice. (See photo) Not only did they not give me light ice, my drink was not full when I picked it up. This is done quite often at this location the last few months. If I don't order light ice the cup is full and asking for light ice gets less drink and they ignore the light ice request. When going through the drive thru and ordering any food item, they rarely hand you a napkin with your order. I have been coming to this location every day for 2 years and recently it's been horrible. Customer service here is really bad!! You have baristas greeting customers saying "welcome" with their heads down (might as well not say anything.) You should greet, and make brief eye contact. Also while waiting I noticed customers waiting at the counter to pick-up drinks or because of a wrong order and no one acknowledged them. Customers literally had to walk up to someone on the other end of the counter. Restrooms were dirty, toilet paper not restocked and there was a frappe spill in front of the door splashed on to the glass and all the girl did was pour hot water. When I mentioned to her about the spill she had an attitude and said she knew about it. Had she known about it, she should have put a caution sign right away, but did after the fact when she was cleaning. This location is really lacking customer service and professionalism! This Starbucks gets a bad rap for some reason because it's off the freeway, but I live locally and come here probably three or four times a week. I can honestly say that I've never had one order messed up, don't my orders are pretty simple. What I can also tell you to is I usually call him put pick up overs over the phone for the coffee totes and they're always welcoming as I know it adds extra strain so their workload. This location gets 3 stars because it's not the staffs fault the location NEVER has supplies! If it's no straws, it's no oat milk, if they have oat milk they don't have cinnamon dulce syrup.. Just ALWAYS not fully stocked, so if you have a hankering for a specific drink.. I highly recommend going inside the grocery store to that Starbucks. They always have. I've been coming to this location for years and it's only been for the past year like this. Now, id usually buy that there's a supply shortage stores wide.. but when there's a Starbucks right in the grocery store in the same parking lot and they have everything that this location claims are in short supply.... The staff here always pretty cool though. You can tell who is the manager when you ask for something like straws and she's a little bit agitated because you can tell it's probably the hundredth time she's had to tell a customer no straws. But again, they get so busy here and maintain friendly and kind. Go staff!! Booo to the owner, make sure these guys are taken care of! Today at 4pm I went to the Starbucks drive thru near Vons , I go there often with no problems but today I was ordering my drinks and on the very first drink order the young lady was laughing as I was ordering my drink , first she got quiet then she came back and proceeded to laugh the entire drink order until I said something about her laughing during. The is a fairly new Starbucks and you would think likely with the money they spent to open it they would work more on getting better staff. Most of the time we have to wait for the drinks to be made longer than we should and sometimes they come out wrong. Personally I think they have too many people dedicated to the drive through and too few dedicated to the patrons that actually take the time to come inside. read more

Idk where my last review went but I think they are so great here I was already updating it! First there's Richard, who has the most genuine smile you can see even through the mask. This kid obviously loves working for Starbucks and it shows! I'm in a covid-hell Situation and no matter what kind of day when I walk in he makes me feel like I'm home. Then there's Martha... talk about helpful! I messed up my own order and without even asking she remade it for me! She dealt with me trying to talk to her through noise, plexiglass and masks and never made me feel like an a%#hole (even though that was a duh dumb move during them being busy). Everyone here is always so nice, they love fast for a busy store and it's always spotless (even the restrooms).
